We don't believe our devices are capable of causing any such skin burns, but we have agreed to refund the customer's purchase price.  Thank you.

There are multiple ways to communicate with Garmin on the Support Center webpage.  Telephone is just one way. Thank you.

Garmin conducted significant testing on the Dashcam 55 up to and above the thermal limits established in software version 2.70 and we are confident the design is safe.  Nonetheless, we agreed to provide the customer the stocking fee charged by the retailer for a full and complete refund...

I am rejecting this response because: While looking into this device at the PX I am not looking at the website and I don't know anyone who is. It clearly advertises on the box lifetime subscription to BOTH. I will never recommend Garmin products to anyone if I don't get what I paid for. Word of mouth tends to be the best advertisement in most cases and I will not be presenting Garmin in a positive way.

I am rejecting this response because: I have PROOF from inside the box that says it has lifetime updates, see attached.  Furthermore, the product is still being advertised on the web as having lifetime updates.  That is CLASSIC bait and switch.

I am rejecting this response because: business in question sold a unit with a in my opinion substandard part. The unit I purchased with transponder cost around $900. The part that is in question might cost .05 cents.

reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have received the cheque but the response provided by Business is in accurate "We re-issued a check and mailed it on March 31.  The customer should receive it soon.  Thank you." Before submitting the complaint, I had called and confirmed and was told my payment has not been processed.
