Final Consumer Response / [redacted] (4200, 6, 2014/06/09) */ The e-mail above states that I have received further communication form Genz Ryan to inform youI was contacted by Genz Ryan last night via e-mail and asked to call and speak with them this morningDuring our conversation they offered to remove the $service charge, but still hold us accountable for the $800-$in repairs for our A/C unitFrankly, I did not find this as a fair compromise as I had already paid $with another company to come and perform the diagnostic service because of their lack of availability, so them waiving a fee to tell me what I already know was of no assistance to help remedy this problem I understand it is Genz Ryans choice on how to handle this matter, however as an A+ Revdex.com rated organization whose mission statement is devoted to providing a high level of customer service, I would have thought we would have been received much better service In recap, I have an A/C unit that the Genz Ryan warranty expired on March 24th of With the unseasonably cold winter, the first time we turned the unit on was May 27th and experienced problemsThis appears to be a known issue with the Carrier model A/C unit we have and there are even investigations into a class action lawsuit against the manufacturer Carrier themselvesThe parts for the unit would be covered under the Carrier warranty, and all I am asking for is Genz Ryan to take care of a customer and properly service the equipmentI have e-mail documentation of my conversation between myself and Genz Ryan, if it would be helpful for me to send this to you I certainly can Thank you for your assistance in this matter [redacted]
We are very pleased with the service we received from Genz-Ryan, especially the tech [redacted] MFrom the estimate for the service required to the installation, it couldn't have gone any better, except for one itemI think the permit to do the work should have been picked up at the city office on the day of the install, instead of waiting for the city to mail the permitBy the way, that did not happen and the permit was finally hand delivered [redacted] went above what was required to get the install finished
Richie showed up during the appointment window and was very kind and courteous He inspected our units in a timely fashion and had a diagnosis and solutions for the problem with in an hour He went over all options with us and answered all of questions He was very professional and he let us decide what would be the best solution for our situation Great Service!

I requested a plumber to come and secure our pedestal sink and stand firmly to the wall, and to repair the leak the sink had in its connection to the wall and Dave Brown was the Service Technician they sent to my home HE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND! He is BY FAR, the best, most knowledgable, and most courteous "plumber" I have ever had in my home From this day forward I will request Dave when I require any plumbing work to be completed in my home THANK YOU DAVE [redacted] for all the time you took to complete my project in a professional manner!!
Jeff was here promptly first thing in the morning (he called ahead to make sure we were here) He answered all of our questions and was very pleasant to have in our home
I had a furnace replacement, plumbing estimate, and electrical work doneThe communication on what needed to happen was very poorThe entire crew was supposed to come at once and get everything doneThe electrician did part of the work and left and the plumber never cameOver hours and multiple phone calls later a plumber finally showed upThe estimate was three times the cost of other companiesI asked for a detailed invoice on the work that was done and still haven't received it after days and multiple phone calls
We are quite satisfied with the work and the techs who assisted usI was also surprised by the cost of the partsBut, since I had not been involved with anything in the plumbing and heating industry for many years, I guess that's inflationOverall a positive experience!
Noah F ,did a complete and comprehensive job repairing our heated floors and I would highly suggest him for serviceWe look forward to calling him in the future to maintain and service our home
