I had an old water heater that had stopped heating water Joel PCame out to assess the situation He gave me several options including both repair and replacement options and answered all of my questions knowledgeably and without any hard sale techniques I ended up replacing my water heater which was replaced same day Joel was great! I would definitely use Genz-Ryan again In fact, I'm planning to use them later this year for a boiler tuand safety inspection
I had work done on my AC unitNoah F did a fantastic job of diagnosing the problem and working to fix it in a timely mannerHe answered all of my questions and explained all of the different options for repairHe was also very friendly
Dave Bwas scheduled to do maintenance on my water heater He was very courteous and professional right from the start He explained what he was going to do and proceeded to get his equipment to start the process He even allowed my young son to continue to bombard him with questions while he was working (he was so nice to him!) answering each and every inquiry with a lot of patience, all the while still working on the flush After he completed his scheduled task he asked if I was on the maintenance package and I told him I was so he offered to do the regular plumbing checkup that I would be entitled to with the package This was a great help since I didn't really want to take off of work again for another maintenance item Dave was very efficient and paid attention to the details and explained what might need to be fixed or replaced and within what timeframe I was very grateful for his service I would highly recommend the maintenance package service from Genz-Ryan if you are not a handy person and you have very little knowledge of the inner workings of your systems It definitely gives me peace of mind that someone who knows what they are doing did a check up and felt things were ship-shape
Two Genz-Ryan professionals inspected our furnace and air conditioning unit today and did a terrific job They were polite, engaging, quick and efficient They explained the results of their inspection and offered various options regarding a solution Everything was back to 100% in no time I highly recommend Genz-Ryan

My air conditioner sprung a serious leak, and needed to have the "a coil" replacedI was being quoted $1300-$to replace it from other hvac companiesA friend recommended Genz-RyanAfter a FREE check out of my ac system, they quoted me UNDER $1300!! A few days after installation, I noticed water on the floor around the unit, I gave them a call and they came out the next day and cleaned and replaced some of the hose that runs from the unit to the drain...at NO COST!! Ryan Adid a wonderful job of promptly taking care of our HVAC maintenance In addition, he went above and beyond in figuring out why the furnace filter replacemetn order had been delayed He mad sure the filter replacment order was on it's ways after learning we had challenges with receiving shipping information

I started with a call to Genz Ryan to schedule an AC tune up in mid July The technician, Jake, came to our house in late July He told my wife that we need a long list of things fixed so my wife told him to send an email then talk to me about the options After a few days, I call the office since we had not heard from Jake The office said he would call me After three more days, I call the office back since I had not heard from anyone He email me a list of options without any prices so I called himWe discussed the options and I said I would schedule after a week of vacation I then call the office on the 17th of AugustI was informed that Jake no longer worked there so they needed to send out a new technician On Aug19th, Ryan came out and explained what needed to be fixed which the list grew from $to $with additional leak in the AC We scheduled the repairs for Aug24th A new technician(do not know his name) arrived on the 24th and spend hours doing the repairs and left at pm I arrived home at 5:pm and noticed the AC was not kicking on We spend one hot night without AC I called the office back on the 25th when Jeff Pcame out to find that the previous tech switched two wires so he fixed the wiring After technicians and $2600, we have AC working which it was working before we started this processes
Genz-Ryan's customer service was excellent They were very pleasant and called to remind and confirm me of my appointment The service technician, Chad, was very cheerful, knowledgeable and helpful in giving me options for replacement of my aging system
Noah did a great job cleaning up our A/C and troubleshooting the control panel which prevented our unit from running Now with warmer weather it is a blessing to have a working A/C! Thanks Noah for your professionalism in getting the job done
