I am writing in regards to the plumbing complaint that Mr [redacted] sent to your office in August about the services he received from AJAC, Incd/b/a George Brazil on January 24, In January, a George Brazil plumber went to Mr [redacted] home and evaluated multiple plumbing issues and some maintenance needs The item at issue in the recently filed complaint relates to a single item of work completed more than months ago with respect to changing filters and membranes in an existing reverse osmosis (RO) system that Mr [redacted] has under his kitchen sink George Brazil supplied and installed new RO filters and a membrane, but George Brazil did not install or provide the RO System that cracked more than months later In short, George Brazil did not supply or install the RO System that broke Here is a picture of the RO System immediately after George Brazil installed new filters and membranes, and you can see that there are no cracks in the pre-existing RO when we left Mr [redacted] home in January.As is our standard practice, our plumber gave Mr [redacted] a written quote for the work to be doneMr [redacted] chose what work he would like done and signed an authorization signature before we did any workAt this time the price was clearly written out on the invoice so that there was no surprise of what the job would costMr [redacted] was aware of the cost to perform a maintenance filter and membrane change out on his ROWe did not replace Mr [redacted] whole existing RO system, we only replaced the RO's filters and a membrane inside of the RO’s cylinders Our price to replace the whole RO system is more than performing a maintenance filter and membrane change out on his RO MrEliot’s price quoted in his complaint for an entire RO system is not a price or for the quality or type of an RO system that we provide to our customers.Six months after our original work, we received a call from Mr [redacted] stating that he had a leak under his kitchen sink on his RO unitHe stated that we had worked on it before and that it should be under warrantyWhen we have warranty issues we send our Quality Control Manager (QC) out to our client’s home On July 30, 2014, our QC manager arrived at Mr [redacted] home and found that one of Mr [redacted] cylinders on his pre-existing RO had crackedOur QC manager took the below picture of the cracked RO cylinder and stated that we would call him to go over our findings.I called Mr [redacted] after reviewing invoices and original pictures taken from six months ago as well as the new picture of the cracked RO cylinder and a discussion with our QC managerI stated to Mr [redacted] that the filters and the membrane are under our warranty as it is stated on the invoice, yet that was not the problem because the item that failed was his preexisting whole reverse osmosis unit I reiterated that it was his pre-existing product that cracked, indeed we did service it six months ago, but we are not responsible for something cracking six months down the road on equipment that we did not installIf we had originally installed the RO then we would replace the entire RO system under our warranty.Mr [redacted] did request us to return money that he paid to be part of our plumbing membership that has discounted pricing and maintenance benefitsWe promptly obliged and we did return $to him as he requested for his service agreement membership We also offered to replace the RO for him at a discount from our prices, but he hung up the phone and ended the phone conversation.We stand behind the products we provide and install But we do not warranty pre-existing RO systems installed by others We did refund him for his service agreement membership and offered to replace the RO at a discount We provided a service and unfortunately he had a crack develop that caused a leak on his pre-existing RO that was provided and installed by others and we cannot be held responsible to warranty an existing system that fails six months after we installed filters and a membrane There has been no allegations that there have been any issues with the filters or membranes that we installed They appeared to have functioned correctly for the six months prior to the pre-existing RO cylinder crackingWhat George Brazil did had nothing to do with the subsequent crack in the RO filter.Please reevaluate thiscomplaint as we do not see how we can be liable for an unreasonable request to warranty something that we did not install Thank you for understanding in this matter.Sincerely, [redacted] George Brazil Plumbing, heating and Air conditioning

Dear Revdex.com:I have contacted David *** about the complaint ID *** that he filed with your office on 07/08/I also talked with my technician about the job that he had done for the *** and asked manyquestions which proved that we need to give our technician some follow up training on
“upfront” pricingWhen I called Mr*** I explained that I would be giving him back $No questions askedI also stated that we would be counseling our technician and in no way this was our regular practiceI talked with Mr. *** about the training that we obviously failed to give to our tech and that we take this very seriousI asked him if this was acceptable and he agreed that it was and he would possibly consider using our services in the future.In reviewing this complaint and after the counseling with our technician I feel that we have reached a point where our technician will never give a price upfront again and add more to the bill when the job is complete.We strive to provide the best service possible to everyone in the valley and do whatever it takes to make sure that our clients feel that they received the best service.Sincerely,*** ***General ManagerGeorge Brazil Plumbing

We had Paul from George Brazil do our plumbing on Tuesday and Wednesday on January 3 and 4 and we were very satisfied with his work. We had a water leakage and had to get it repaired asap. He explained what he had to do in order to detect where the water was coming from. So for any repair call them as we had good service from them before.

I have used george brazil before, so I called them when I discovered a leak on my 25 year old gas water heater. scottin mccabe got here within an hour of my initial service call request....I wasn't expecting anyone until the next day. he got there, looked at the heater--yep, it was killed...however, he discovered several other problems unrelated to the water heater with my a/c and gas furnace air ducts. this poor man walked into a much bigger job/problem than he had bargained for. so, he explained all the issues that were going on, why they were a problem--not to mention the fact that NOTHING was up to code. so, he sat down, gave me an estimate,and offered to start the job right then and there--it was 6:30pm, but said he would be here well into the wee hours of the morning. I told him to go home and we could start fresh the next day. he arrived at my house before 9 the next morning, and then the fun began. that poor man ran into problem after problem...and he NEVER uttered one unkind word. he worked all day on that water heater, and every problem that was connected to it. he finally finished at 8:30pm. he walked through everything he had done with me. he provided me with the before and after pictures I had requested--he went over the invoicing, the warranties, went over the life-time service warranty, which I accepted, did a complete plumbing inspection of my home, showed me a couple existing problem areas( my house is over 50 years old--so there is no shame for any of it). but everything scottin did, is now up to code. scottin mccabe was exemplary in every way!!!! I am so, so grateful for him, his kindness, his professionalism, his patience, and all that he did to make everything safe and right for me. THANK YOU SO, SO MUCH, SCOTTIN and george brazil services!!!! george brazil--please know that you have a diamond in the rough in scottin. he is one special man, and he represents EVERYTHING that is good about your company, thank you all so, so much again!!!!! I am so grateful!!!

George Brazil service men installed a new water heater, and were prompt, courteous and efficient. Answered my questions fully before completing the job. Very satisfactory.

my hot water heater went out 3 days before Christmas. I called George Brazil and 1 hour later they had a technician there to put in a new heater. The technician was courteous and very efficient. He researched the website to find every available coupon for me. The next day I talked with his supervisor and he extended the same helpfulness to honor the warranty on the old heater. I highly recommend George Brazil for my plumbing and air conditioning needs

The company answered our call quickly for an electrical problem and sent us a photo of the man who would be coming to our home to do the work. This is a very professional practice to make answering the door to a stranger much easier.The technician was very pleasant and did the job in a very timely manner. We highly recommend this company.

Service person was knowledgeable and was able to fix the problem promptly.

Jaime from George Brazil was knowledgeable, very courteous, and seemed sincerely interested in saving us money by providing tips on any maintenance and do-it-yourself work we are able to handle ourselves, without a service professional.

We are glad we called George Brazil because the job that normally would been a "do-it-yourself" task turned out to required some additional expertise. I would not have had the proper tools to complete the job on my own.

George Brazil came out today and did some electric work for us. Camas H was the person that service us. He did an excellent job and was very professional and very knowledgeable about our problem. The fee was a little high but what can I say, anything you get done these days are expensive. He did an excellent job!

George Brazil's Plumbing Tech Walter F. was very good to say the least.Very professional and made sure he did the best for us. His work was up to my standards. Very happy with his work.

This was our first experience with George Brazil Electric. From the first call I placed I found everyone I came in contact with was very professional and efficient. With in minutes after giving the office our problem we want checked out. I received a phone call to set up an appointment for the following day. The technician came on the day of appointment at the scheduled time. Our technician spent a lot of time talking to us and checking out the problem. He gave us a quote and was able to do the repair while he was here. We are going to have them back to install new ceiling fans for us. I would recommend them to any of our friends that need their services.

The worker, Ernesto, was efficient, appropriate, capable and attentive to the work he did while in our home. He represented George Brazil well.
