Review: I walked into this facility about a month, maybe more before my contract was about to end. I asked the girl to tell me the process for canceling my membership. I was told not to worry because my membership would be done next month and if I don't come in to resign then they will automatically cancel it. I went home satisfied. I was warned by a few friends to be careful because they had issues. I called and asked the rep on the phone and was told the same thing (now about 15 days before my contract end date) I figured I could trust their word. I was charged the next 2 months and called a manager. They said that my account was not canceled. I told her I spoke to 2 reps who promised it would be. She referred me to an outside company who said I had to pay another 2 months before I could cancel. They also said call the manager and she will refund you. I left messages for weeks and every time was told she was in a meeting and never heard back. Total disregard for customer service they just nickel and dime you and continue to charge your card.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded for the extra months charged

Review: I received a coupon for "1st Month Free + No Processing + 30 Day money back Guarantee." They then charged me as they were supposed to. First 4 days were fine. Then I recieved a SECOND CHARGE! They claimed "it was considered the Processing fee" My paperwork stated otherwise. Then, I stated I wanted my money back, and now after they gave me proof of my cancellation, I have yet to receive funds. I went into business and asked them what was up. The "David Messing - Operations manager" Stated "That is no proof of the 30-day money back guarantee". I just want my 79.98$ back... I CAN PROVIDE PROOF.I also have ANOTHER ISSUE!!! About a year ago, I had a previous membership where they stated it was canceled, and they continued to charge me. I went in, and had it cleaned up ( with a witness who is now unfortunately deceased ) and signed paperwork again and everything was fine. Almost a year later ( WITH NO CONTACT OR NOTICES VIA MAIL ) they claim the other account is in collections. GOLDS GYM IS A GIANT SCAM!!!!Desired Settlement: I want a refund ( current account 1-27-14, Canceled 2/1/14 ) , and I want the other account cleaned up ( 9/2012, canceled 12/2012 or 1/2013 )

Review: On 05-30-13 I signed up for 4 training sessions per month for $156.00 for which I was charged on 05-30-13. On 06-13-13 I cancelled the training sessions for all future months. I have a copy of that cancellation. But on 07-12-13 I was charged $156.00.On 06-13-13 I signed up for 1 training sessions per month for $41.00. I cancelled the sessions the same day, and I have a copy of the cancellation. But on 06-13-13 I was charged $41.01 and on 07-02-13 I was charged $41.00.On 06-13-13 I signed up to 2 training sessions per month for $156.00. I was charged $156.00 on 06-13-13. On 06-29-13 I cancelled the 2 sessions per month. I don't have a copy of that cancellation because [redacted] the Training Manager and [redacted] the Operations Manager said they wanted to handle it differently so there would not be a problem this time. (I was still trying to get a refund for the erroneous charge of $41.01 made on 06-13-13). They went into a back room where I was not permitted and said they took care of it differently so they could not print out a copy of the cancellation for me. I complained that I needed something so [redacted] wrote on a paper I happened to have, "Cancel all p.t. contracts & refunding the 41$ from the 1 time a month" and he signed it.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of the following charges:06-13-13 $41.01 07-02-13 $41.0107-02-13 $82.0007-02-13 $156.01The $41 cancelled same day as the agreement. Never should have charged me.The $82 agreement date 06-13-13, cancelled on 06-29-13. I paid for June. They should not have charged me in July. The $156.01 which I paid for on 05-30-13, I then cancelled on 06-13-13. They should not have charged me in July.

Review: I am a business owner who was approached by a Golds Gym employee and asked to display their company cards. In exchange, I was offered a 30dy trial membership for my family. I was advised to come in and fill out the "required paperwork", even though it was a free trial. I visited the location 9/28/10 and was told by the employee it was mandatory to fill out the paperwork and provide a debit card#. I was also asked to provide my SS#, which I refused. In good faith, I provided the information that was asked of me, considering I was distributing their gym cards to my valuable customers. I had no reason to believe I was being mislead. I was told to call the gym if I chose to "not be a member" after the 30dys. I did so at which point I was told to "put my request in writing", I complied again. I never heard back from Golds Gym after that. To my utter disbelief and surprise, I was recently advised that Golds Gym had forwarded my acct to a collection agency, who has since placed a delinquency on my credit! I have made several calls to Golds Gym, with no luck. I was told that I "signed a contract" and was being billed for services I NEVER RECEIVED!My fiance' asked for a copy of my "socalled contract". Initials were scribbled next to an "automatic debit of payments section" however NO payments were ever debited from my account, as I HAD STATED I DIDN'T WANT ANY MEMBERSHIP. Now, three years later, this unethical company is negatively impacting my credit and there isn't a single person that will talk to me. I asked for a corporate number and was told by Tyson at the Simi location, there was NO CORPORATE OFFICE. This company continues to commit fraud with the old "bait and switch" game, and then brushes you off. I was also told "GOLDS DOES NOT SEND ANY MONTHLY BILLS". This illegal practice committed by Golds Gym must stop. I want my credit repaired and ALL NEGATIVE INFORMATION REMOVED! Kind Regards, George Haddajian.Desired Settlement: I want Golds Gym to remove the negative collection information reported on my credit, as I followed the instructions given to me by a Golds Gym representative. The company has no moral compass, nor does it follow any type of "fair debt collection" practices. No notification was ever sent to me in writing discussing any "delinquency", nor was ANY MONEY ever debited from my account for "membership fees", as I specifically stated I WASN'T INTERESTED IN BECOMING A MEMBER, AFTER THE 30DY trial period

Review: I currently have a membership at Golds Gymn in Missoula, Mt wich was just bought out by Ridge fitness and is now owned by Jared Langley. I signed up in Novemeber 2014 and loved my membership. In January 2015 I had mediation for the custody of my daughter and won my case, so I was able to move back to Clarkston Washington to be my family. While making arrangemnets to move I was informed that the Gold's Gym in Lewiston, Idaho was shut down and not re-opening. So in February I went into the Gold's Gym in Missoula to speak to them about my problem to try and get out of my contract since I will no longer be using the company since there is no Gold's. They told me that a contract is a contract and that I will have to continue paying my monthly payent or pay $100 to cancel the contract. I cannot afford this. They gave me the managers email address and he told me the same thing. Gold's Gym took a total of $53.00 out of my account to pay for March when I cant even use the gym. I asked the manager for a refund for March and he refused. I do not understand why I am paying a membership when I cannot use it. I spoke to [redacted], who works for the Gold's Gym out of Spokane Washingotn and she told me they also have a contract, but if the customer were to move 25 miles away or signs up for a new Golds Gym it automatically cancels out the contract. I feel that this is sketchy and I should get my refund back for March and my contract canceled. I have proof of my residence here in Washington if I need to prove that. Please let me know what I can do to get my refund back and out of this contract. Thank you [redacted]Desired Settlement: I am wanting my March refund of $53.00 back and my Golds Gym membershihp canceled.

Review: The Works straight out lie to you when you join. They say You can cancel in 14 days and get you're money back for no reason. But when you do they say they don't do that! (I wanted to cancel because you can't work out there on the machines I want to, I went there 4 times all hours of the day and night. To find Groups of there body building buddy's using the machines every time, with a line waiting.)They lie Saying have until 8 days before the next billing cycle to cancel. That's another lie, When you try they say you need over 30 days. They all say this when you join but when you ask why they said that! They laugh at you and they Walk away from you saying I'm not a lawyer I Don't know anything you need to talk to the manager. Manager Laughs at you when you tell him any of this. Then To cancel they want to you sign this form (The form is an agreement that they can take more money from you for canceling then even the reg payment, and then its only if the manager accepts it. Its a bait and switch and the workers do it all the time there to people that come in.Desired Settlement: I want a refund, But I think more this Business needs to be dealt with they do this to people on a daily bases and the City attorney wont do anything since they say they don't' deal with fraud or any kind of business problems they leave that to you guys! They are pulling basically a Shell game. They get you in by lies and then to cancel the membership you have to sign a Contract to cancel (the paper to cancel the member ship literately is a Contract to take more money from you And not cancel)

Review: In the end of Oct 2014 I paid for a full year over 1500.00 for a membership through Nov 2015. The first day that we went, I took my son to the child care. They said it is not covered in the membership. I then went to speak to the manager {N[redacted]} who said go ahead and pay today and we will figure something out. {He said that because the reason that we chose Golds was we thought that it was covered and he spoke the person who signed us up and there was some confusion} So I gave my credit card to put on file until it was resolved. The next couple days that we came in we then spoke to him again who said that child care would be taken care of because we signed up for a year. So my credit card was removed from the file so that it was no charged again for child care {Chase credit card}. {Which if you use child care a credit card it REQUIRED on file}. Then in Nov. I was charged again on my credit card for a month of membership when I had just paid less then a week ago in full for 1 year. So they did credit back that month and REMOVED that credit card so that I wouldn't be charged again. {Fifith Third credit card}. So as of this point you have NO credit cards on file to charge for anything. As of March 2015 there was only 1 person going. So NO CHILD CARE after March 2015 at all. Because I did pay for a year she continued to go. @ july I get a call saying that I owe money???? How can I owe money when I paid through Nov 2015??? So now they say I owe for Child care, That we havent used PLUS was told it was free until Nov 2015. I have now been sent to collections for this as of Nov. 2105. I have been called a liar by one of your managers that I have to show proof that child care was free. It should be proof that the Manager removed my credit card and I was still using child care {which again if you use child care it is REQUIRED to have a credit card on file}, 2. my child hasnt even been there, 3. I paid several times for my 2nd child to come because the monthly payment they said they would pay for 1 kidDesired Settlement: I want a letter that I can send to collections saying this is resolved and to never have to deal with them again. I paid what I was suppose to even OVER paid actually.

Review: Made several attempts to cancel my membership after my contract was up. Was given conflicting and incorrect information by the staff with each attempt. Somehow a manager was not present the days I was told to come in, then the hours I needed to come in were different and lastly a manager was busy during the days and times that I was promised one would be available. Finally, I was given an email address to which I sent my request to as well as the lengthy explanation of the chain of events that took place up to that point. I received an email back from the manager stating that he went ahead and canceled my membership but since I did not provide 30 days notice I would be charged again. This could have been solved had there been a simple form that I could have signed when I made my first attempt to cancel the membership almost 5 weeks prior to my email. I was not under contract any longer and had met my one year term, it seems like they make the cancellation process much more complicated so that they can retain "one last month" of dues from the consumer. My original email had both the general manager as well as operations manager on copy. I find it hard to believe that there was nothing they were able to do to stop the next payment from going out.Desired Settlement: I would like to be taken off this coming billing cycle immediately so that I am not charged for the coming months dues since I have been attempting to cancel since late January.

Review: On I signed up for 4 - 30min training sessions per month for $78.00 & their Pure Proactive program for 3 payments of $210.00 . Within a week found out that the Pure Proactive was making me sick with my health issues so asked for a refund and tried to cancel the training sessions but was asked to give it until the end of the month for training sessions and to get the product back before they could start the refund. After a month had to take time off to talk to the Manager and the Operations Manager as they only work 9-5 Mon. thru Fri. Some days out of the week because the refund hadn't happen and another payment had been charged. During this time I was informed they will not allow me to cancel the training sessions even though my trainer had left the company and they had no other person willing to do the time I wanted which was a 5am session. The one trainer who stated he was willing spent more time trying to talk me into evenings than training me. I asked for a corporate number and was told by Tyson at the Simi location, there was NO CORPORATE OFFICE. I have left numerous messages to be called back as I am missing one refund payment (they gave me one of the $210 back but not the 2nd one) and I keep paying for training that cannot be done and they will not allow me to cancel. In addition each time I start to make headway into getting this resolved the Manager and the Operations Manager change, because they leave or were promoted (Tyson). I just want the rest of the money owed me refunded and to cancel the training sessions that I cannot use and don't roll over per them. I cannot see how they are allowed to bill for services I NEVER RECEIVED! When I have requested copies of the contracts I keep being told I must contact the Manager and/or the Operations Manager as they only work 9-5 Mon. thru Fri. but leave my name and number and they will call me backwhich never happens.Desired Settlement: Finish the refund I was told would happen and stop the monthly bill for the training sessions and provide a refund for services not provided.

Review: September 15, 2014 the phone rings and its Swift Collection Agency asking to speak with my daughter. I ask what this is regarding. They state that we have been sent to collections by Golds Gym. Let me start from the beginning: Our family became members of Golds Gym Oct 1, 2008 (thats 6 years!). We have our monthly memberships taken out of a credit card, and have since the beginning. Well, apparently the credit card had expired in June 2014. We have not received anything from Golds asking for us to come in to put a new card on file. Mind you it is now Sept 15,2014. My husband has not been to the gym in over 3 years, I have not been in 2 and my daughter has only been once. But we kept it in hopes we all would slow our lives down long enough to start exercising again. My one daughter used it all the time. So the Collection Agency (and I use that word very loosely) called and demanded $371.43 per person to bring our account current 4 times in two days. That is $1485.72!!!! From June till Sept! He threatened me that if I did not pay today, he would turn into the credit agency and affect all of our credit. My husband has had back surgery, my youngest daughter has been involved in a serious accident, and has pins and plates in her arm. So I immediately call the Gym. The manager told me that that is their policy. If a card expires they call and inform the member, (which in our case they did not). I also received nothing in the mail from the Gym for collection co. This is the first I have heard of it. Being long time members, and as they could see, not active at all, they made me pay $835.88!!! This is a rip off. This company has not heard the last of me. I am contacting an attorney and newspaper and all online forms of communication in order for them to stop ripping people off. Looking at other complaints, seems this is their business practice. This is not only a matter of money we were made to pay, that by the way we didnt have, its a matter of principle and I want to send a message to the Corp. peeps about the unethical business practices their Co partakes on a daily basis. Back in March we called and wanted to cancel our membership for the 3 of us and leave my one daughter as a member. We were told we have to come in. We came in and was told we have to call a finance co?So in order for us to cancel our contract with them, we were made to pay all this money, and then they gladly and with a smile on their face cancelled all 4 memberships.Im just sick over this. Something must be done!Desired Settlement: I want an apology, my entire amount refunded, and treat their members fairly and respectfully.

Review: Despite repeatedly contacting Gold's Gym in person & on the phone. They continue to charge a monthly fee of $39.99 on a monthly basis. Every month I dispute the charge with the credit card company & every month they reverse the charge. I have requested repeatedly to have a copy of the contract that allows them to charge me, one has never been produced. I have been told by several employees " well we don't really know where or if there is a contract. But we must have one, because we are charging you"The company is engage in fraudulent business practices.Desired Settlement: I want them to stop charging my credit card.

Review: I have inquired originally to suspend my month to month basis membership [no contract] for myself leaving the country after numerous times asking 4-5 working there I was told 2 times I would get a phone call which I never did. So I decided to just cancel out my membership asked to speak to a manager all I got was "concerning?" so I told the personal working at the counter "i would like cancel out my member" She pretty much didnt ask anything else just threw a paper which asked for my name and member number and also reason why so I filled and returned it to the lady at the counter. After 1.5 months into my vacation when I arrived I had numurous voicemails and what not of my owe ing 96$ to ABC Financial After contacting them I was told I had to pay 2 MONTHS ahead which by the way I was never informed of during joining the gym nor while I was canceling my membership at the gym. These guys pretty much stole this from me I will never spend a penny at any "golds" gymsDesired Settlement: Refund of 2 months worth that was charged on my behalf.

To whom it may concern,

Please note that Mr. [redacted] signed a month to month membership on 05/01/2013, which means he is able to cancel his membership at any time as long as he supplies us with a 60 day notice. As you can see on the attachment Mr. [redacted] signed the 60 Day notice clause and was aware of all our procedures. Since he filled out his cancellation form on 08/23/2013 he his responsible for September and October payments. Also attached is a copy of his signed cancellation form. As of today Mr. [redacted] is pending cancellation and set to cancel on 11/01/2013 as long as all payments are properly posted. I do apologize for any inconvenience but we are unable to issue Mr. [redacted] a credit since he was aware of the procedures and as soon as we received all his information we timely processed his paperwork. I am happy to speak to Mr. [redacted] to explain everything to him directly if he wishes I can be reached at ###-###-#### or by email at [redacted]

Response:

I am rejecting this response because:

They scanned both of the papers but what they need to scan is how their employees work, when I joined and signed that contract I was given these words "oh don't worry just sign there I can cancel anytime for you no fees no contract" in any of the conversation was I told you need "60 days" or else

I would have done that right? So I find their response unacceptable and how they do business for all I know they could put 365days instead of "60" and there you that is considered a "contract" but no it is not for "golds gym"

Review: When I started my Gold's Gym membership this Fall (8/30/2013), I was offered a "free training session" with one of their personal trainers. So, I took them up on their offer (9/2/2013). While I waited for their head trainer (who was 15 minutes late), one of the other male trainers took it upon himself to make an incredibly inappropriate comment, border-lining on sexual harassment. Once I began my session with the head trainer, he made multiple insulting, rude, and inappropriate comments also border-lining on sexual harassment. After this happened, I decided to put my account on hold for 3 months (Beginning 12/1/2013 - 2/1/2014), understanding that I would be charged $7.00 each month and could not use the facility during that time. However, to my surprise, I discovered that this month (1/6/2014) I was charged a $29 "yearly fee for equipment, towels, etc". I find it absolutely absurd that I am paying a fee for a gym that I'm not even attending because my account is on hold. In addition to this, their customer service is just plain terrible. The employees working at the front desk are rude and seem to not know what they are talking about. On multiple occasions I've heard them joking and gossiping amongst themselves about customers. I would like to cancel my membership with Gold's Gym of Simi Valley and be finished with their unacceptable business misconduct once and for all.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the $29 yearly fee. I would also like a waived cancellation fee, so I can discontinue my membership with Gold's Gym of Simi Valley at no cost.

Review: [redacted]I have signed up for the Personal Training with Gold's Gym on 4/23/14 at around 7:00pm. During the meeting with A[redacted]-Fitness Manager, I addressed that I had a stroke in the past and an ankle injury the past two months. He said the trainer will take good care of me without any problems. In addition, he told me that I can cancel the training anytime if I can't handle it or I can add more sessions later on if I need it since I chose 12-session to start with. I was afraid not to handle the training with my past stroke and recent ankle injury, so I called A[redacted] next day at 8am to cancel my Personal Training. He did not let me cancel and asked me to bring in my doctor notes for cancellation. I told him that I was not able to come to see him that day since I had a vendor meeting until late at night. Finally A[redacted] and I arranged to meet on Saturday morning 4/26/14 instead when suited our schedules better. I came to see A[redacted] Saturday morning 4/26/14 and showed him my doctor notes: "Please eval/treat left ankle sprain-persistent pain x3 months". He brought my doctor notes to his manager Eric. A few minutes later, Eric came out and refused to accept my doctor notes since it passed the 24-hour notification. I told him that I did call A[redacted] within 13 hours. Eric said a phone call is not acceptable. Then A[redacted] asked me for another detailed doctor notes states that I am disable for the personal training. On Monday 4/28/14, I came back and met with C[redacted]-General Manager and he told me that he was sending a cancelation request to Golds Gym's corporate for a refund. I have checked with C[redacted] every day during this week as I came for the cardio workout and finally I found out that my request is denied as of last night 5/1/14.I believe that their revised responses to not let me cancel the personal training are unfair because I haven't got trained any session yet and their contract policy is totally different from what they told me.Desired Settlement: It would be greatly appreciated if I could get my money back ($598). Please feel free to give me a call at ###-###-#### or drop me an email tl[redacted][email protected] if you have any questions. I will be glad to provide any information you may need. Thank you in advance and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

This place is horrible. I joined with a 2 year prepay and also bought some training sessions. The day I joined, I set my appointment for my evaluation, to determine my personal trainer and routine. I completed that appointment and scheduled my training sessions with my appointed trainer. The day before my first training session, I was advised not to work out, but to just do cardio, which I did. Then my trainer cancelled my appointment. Understandable, so I rescheduled, but could only find availability 4 days later. Day before set session, again, I just did cardio. Morning of appointment, she cancels me again! Well, that was enough for me, so I went in to the location to cancel my agreement. I spoke to a manager, who brought the GM over, who understood and agreed to refund all my charges, including cancelling my 2 year deal. Two weeks later, I checked my account and no refunds have been applied. I called the location and spoke to a rude woman named [redacted], who said she would be able to handle my issue. She placed me on hold and when she returned she informed me that the refund was not going to be honored. In addition, they had charged me another $89 for a monthly personal training program! I informed her that the GM assured me that it would be taken care of, also in the presence of another manager named [redacted], and she callously said, "he doesn't work here anymore and they are not going to refund my money and Gold's Gym does not give refunds." No wonder they are not members of the Revdex.com...How convenient for any merchant to take money, but absolutely not offer any refund.

Review: I put in for a guest pass and when I got there I was met with hostel....very rude and said thay cant give me one...now there web site sayes free one week free pass....every other golds gym ive gone to gives me a free one week pass..now tell me whats worng with this place....Desired Settlement: to get a free one week pass...

Response:

It states on the coupon some restrictions apply. Our policy is that the guest must be a full time area resistant 18 years old or older. This gentleman lives in HI and was offered the daily fee option. A member of Gold's Gym with a valid travel pass in given 14 complimentary visits per year. He was not a member or an area resistant.

Review: When I signed my contract with this gym I signed for one year with the first and last month being free. I moved out of the area and when I went to cancel after my year was up I paid my remaining months but refused to pay for the last month. The person who processed my cancellation said she would pull my contract later because she was too busy and she would put that with my cancellation and it would be fine not to pay the last months fees. Without any notification months later I am receiving call from a law firm debt collector every single day. They tell me I need to call the gym to have them stop calling me. I am now concerned for my credit score. I have called the gym 3 times and emailed them. I was supposed to get a call back from [redacted] who apparently "forgot" to process my cancellation. She never returned my call. I followed up again and no manager will even get on the phone with me. I don't know what to do.Desired Settlement: Correction to billing correction to credit report and removal from collection firm

Dear [redacted]

Review: About two years ago golds gym offered an unlimited tanning package for $5.00 a month which I purchased. Recently they closed the gym and opened in a new location. Since opening they have told me that my unlimited tanning package for $5.00 a month has been revoked but I can get a new tanning package for 20 something dollars a month.Desired Settlement: I want gold's to stand by the contract that was previously established.

Response:

November 24, 2014Dear [redacted],In reference to the above mentioned case, the complaint references a $5.00 charge for tanning for a tanning membership for [redacted] of Gold's Gym, [redacted], Pennsylvania which has relocated to [redacted], Pennsylvania. [redacted]’s membership rates were honored but the tanning amenity prices have increased to reflect new state of the art tanning equipment, tanning supplies, and a new state tanning tax that must be applied to a tanning membership. The policies regarding membership and amenities are noted in [redacted]’s membership agreement section 1, paragraph 1, page 2, which states in detail as follows “Your membership is a contractual privilege to use the facilities during club hours of operations. The club reserves the right to initiate, change, or eliminate facilities, services and programs offered from time to time, and to change in hours of operations, services and amenities.[redacted] has full access to review his membership agreement and/or discuss any questions or concerns he may have about club policies.Best Regards,Carol DSenior Vice President of Operations

Review: My boyfriend and I have only been a customer of theirs since April 2014. I have so far had 2 billing issues with them that they will not resolve. I had to go to my own bank on the first issue and now the second issue of over charging me for a previous month that was payed by a different means, I had to go through my bank to cancel my card, had to call the billing company that they work with, as well as call the accounting manager at the specific gym. He has asked the company to waive the fees but in return told me that I can not cancel my accounts with golds gym. Unless I pay them $389 a piece for each membership. This wasn't told to me when I signed up. I specifically ask the man if we could cancel at anytime with out any hassles or payments and he told me yes. His name is Casey. He said he could put a freeze on my account until its payed off or if I would like to return later. I let him know more than once I absolutely do not plan on returning to that gym. I will not ever use Golds Gym again because of all the problems that I have been having with this company. I have researched reviews and complaints with this company and they have many of the same problem. This is ridiculous and unfair. How can you tell someone that they cannot cancel. That is very wrong. There customer service is not helpful. I am wanting to cancel both accounts that are under my debit card and he tells me I can't. It feels like I sold my soul with the devil because they will not let me cancel. I do not want to do business with this company or anyone associated with the company ever again. I tried to get a hold of corporate and it is the same thing. They have a corporate site but no way to email any one. I feel that they should let me cancel my account if I am not happy with my service. I should not have to be forced to stay when the problems occurred with them in the beginning. They should not send early cancellations to collection agencies.Desired Settlement: I would like to cancel both accounts with out having to be forced into paying for the rest of the year when I am not happy with my services, and would like to stop all engagement with this company. The accounts that have the names attached to them are mine which is [redacted] my boyfriend [redacted]. Both accounts are tied under my checking account. We were lied to in the beginning and wish to no further due business or use this business at all. Should not be put through collections.

Response:

7/14/2014In response to [redacted] complaint I have attached the contracts of hers and [redacted]. It is very clear that both contracts are for one year(12 monthly payments). I spoke to [redacted] shortly after refusing to pay her second month on both accounts, and told her to she needed standing" before could do anything for her. I told her the NSF and late fees would never heard back from her. We have been in business for almost eight years and to be in "good be waived and this is the first complaint filed with Revdex.com. I dispute the fact these two feel they were lied too, the contract is crystal clear. This is simply someone wanting to get out of a contract without having to pay.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: On the day of sign up the individual did not simply say that we were on a year contract. He told us that the contract was month to month. We asked him and that is what he assured us. We also asked if we could cancel at anytime with no problems and fees. This man told us es that we could. If I new that that was a lie we would have never signed up in the first place. What needs to happen is that these customer service individuals in this company need to not rush for the customer to hurry and sign but need to go over every detail in the contract. As for the customer will take the associates word. It is ridiculous of how they do people. I will push for further actions if need be.
