This response not only glosses over the mistreatment received but also echoes the unsatisfactory sentiment conveyed during the initial encounter with the issue. To reiterate the stance on this problem: neither the disclaimer nor the fine print that has been brought up clearly or accurately represented the true nature of the contest. Subsequently, the misleading mailed advertisement and phone response received for clarification constitute fraud. If both an acceptance of fault and a satisfactory resolution are not achieved via these means further action will be taken on this matter. While I appreciate the second reply's originality as well as Golf Mill Ford's willingness to accept any responsibility for wrongdoing on multiple counts in this incident, not to mention the continued pleasant treatment I've had the opportunity to experience, I'm afraid we've exhausted this route for the possibility of a settlement on the issues at hand. I just bought a 2017 Ford Escape in "Ruby Red"! It's beautiful!
It was the Best car buying experience I've ever had! I never felt pressured one time and it's all because of my salesperson Bebe [redacted]! She is Spectacular! We got along famously. She completely put me at ease through the whole experience. She's personable and doesn't speak to you in sales jargon. She makes you feel like you're her only priority and she will do what she has to do to make your experience one you will actually enjoy!
I would highly recommend Golf Mill Ford to everyone. Even the finance department was a breeze to get through and That's saying a lot!
My parents bought a car there and are looking to get another and of course Bebe will be their salesperson. My family believes Golf Mill Ford is definitely the most honest, helpful and even fun place to buy a car!

It was a spur of the moment decision to stop into GolfMill Ford after breakfast that morning, just to see what a 2014 [redacted] was like. It had been since 2003 that I had stepped into a dealer which I consider to be a very scary intimadating place to visit. I knew that winter would be here really soon and that I would need a new depandable reliable car. I contemplated driving away as I could clearly see the salesman grabbing their coats and running towards the door. I prayed real hard and told myself be strong as I suddenly remembered the name Darwin that a patient had mentioned earlier that week. A salesman approached me and I ask if Darwin was in and he checked and he escorted my parents and me to Darwins desk. My prayers were answered as Darwin was very professional, understanding and not a scary pushy typical salesman! My parents and me were so at ease with him..... And so proud to have been served by an ARMY veteran! Ford is lucky to have such a valuable employee working and representing their Company.....never let him go because he is a Gem of a person and employee!!! He listened to my needs and delivered! My wife and I had a great experience working with Darwin. He assisted us in a trade-in transaction. Darwin was very professional but was also very genuine when learning about us and our needs.

Darwin was really making sure we were taken care of with the proper vehicle to suit our needs at the proper price.

I had actually already referred my sister to him and she bought a car as well. I do see Darwin as my go-to-guy for purchasing a vehicle as I really appreciate his hard work.

I purchased the car almost two years ago and he still sends me follow up emails to check in to see how I am doing.

He is a great guy and he takes his work very seriously both pre-sale and post-sale.

Mill Ford

I bought a used Ford Focus 2013 SE with automatic transmission in Oct 2014. The car was almost new (only 11.000 miles) and it appeared very well maintained. The seller kept saying it was a great deal and the car had never had a problem.
It was the worst mistake of my life! I suspect it was a lemon car! Suffice to say that after less then 2 years (and less than 12.000 miles on the road) the car has had 5 (FIVE!!!!!) transmission failures! The last 3 failures occurred in less than 3 weeks (and less than 30 miles on the road!) and, when the last one happened, we almost crashed (we were driving downhill on a very steep road and suddenly the clutch disengaged and went to neutral right before a curve).
My wife does not feel safe and does not want to drive this car anymore! Since I bought this car, my life has been a nightmare! I will never ever buy a car at Golf Mill Ford! They are not transparent and I would not reccommend them to my worst enemy!

I brought my 2014 Focus for an oil change, and while waiting for my car, I wandered into the showr
oom. I was looking at a beautiful Fusion on display. Mark G. and the entire staff went out of their way to get me a great deal on a 2016 Fusion that was too good to pass up! They even went and secured a car in the exact color and interior I wanted from another dealership. Great job from everyone involved in my purchase.

My salesperson, Darwin P. [redacted] was very patient, honest, and helpful. He lead my wife and I through our car buying process like a professional. We bought a 2013 [redacted] although it was not in his lot. He scheduled a time with us for later in the week so that he could drive to another dealer to pick up the car. This helped make this process more convenient for my wife and I.

For the past few weeks I was looking to buy a new car. It had to be a vehicle that will accommodate my long commute (1.5 to 2hr each direction...). I was doing some of the leg work and had encountered countless of rude and slimy behavior from many sales people working for "big name dealers" throughout Skokie, Niles and Chicago. Not only was it disheartening but it was unpleasant and a waste of my time.
Luckily I happened upon Golf Mill Ford whilst perusing the internet one last time for the vehicle I was interested in. From the initial conversation with Stevan [redacted] (our sales man) I felt like I was valued as a potential customer. Stevan displayed honesty, integrity and friendliness from the beginning of the process of buying my new [redacted] I was treated as if we had been friends for years. I got a fair price for my trade-in, and overall, drove out a new car feeling I got a good deal!
All of the other people, from finance to service at Golf Mill Ford treated me with respect, took the time to listen and to make sure my questions are answered. I got the vehicle I wanted with zero stress or hassle! I love my new [redacted] and there is no doubt I will continue to give Golf Mill Ford my business when purchasing a vehicle in the future, and when servicing my new [redacted]

No further action has been taking By NPD either due to the lack of evidence. While I may not be able to prove my GPS was in the car, I know it was and you know it was. This is a feeble excuse not to have to "own up" to having things stolen from the cars in your lot. When I called the dealer upon realizing the GPS was still in the car, they told me they had it in hand. Someone had it and knows where it went. In reference to the floor mats that were in the car when I returned to have the trailer hitch installed, are you going to tell me I purchased the car with 3 floor mats or do I need to prove there were 4? While your numbers may show you are the best dealer in the Midwest, your reputation for doing lousy things to customers is spreading and your reputation is deteriorating. Saying that someone is making false allegations is ridiculous over such small items that you could have easily replaced if you cared at all about your customers. Filing a complaint with the police department and Revdex.com is most definitely the professional way to handle things. The behavior of your dealership in not addressing this issues properly is what is unprofessional.
