In Jan 2015, I bought an one-year insurance policy on Pet Watch's websiteThe company in Feb unauthorizedly charged my credit card for some new policy I don't needNo follregarding the matter from their customer serviceAny potential customer should be aware of it

On or around July 28th, when I logged into the new pet "portal" offered by 24petwatch I noticed there was still an active policy (***) for a kitty named *** *** had had been "owner transferred" back in Dec to my brother, *** *** Upon further investigation, we determined that 24petwatch created a new policy for *** for my brother (***) instead of transferring her original policy (***) This means that up until I discovered this situation both me and my brother were paying on a policy for *** for almost two years I was paying monthly (along with my other pets) and my brother ***, was paying annually
When an owner transfer is done, the new owner must supply their new Billing information on the owner transfer form for the policy premium My brother choose to pay for *** policy annually, while I had been paying a monthly premium on the original policy My brother has a credit card statement showing two annual payments made to PTZ*

I have had this company for well over years with very few issues other than slow pay
My pet was at the vet in April and diagnosed with bladder cancer.at that time, my vet filled out the claim form
I had a re-check in June, so held back the claim as I knew I had days to file
I sent in my claim for April and June visits on June 5th
I received absolutely nothing from this company until September, when they paid out the June claim
I then made multiple calls to customer serviceI spoke with a "stormy", *** and a ***From what I can gather *** sent the claim back to the claims dept to be processed as I was told I "missed the deadline" and asked for it to be expeditedI have called and left messages for her to call me and respond, but to no avail
I know the company made some changes earlier this year, and this may have caused the issue, but my claim needs to be processedI did not miss any deadlines for a claim, nor was I negligent in submitting recor

I had an auto deduct from my checking account for Pet Insurance for my cat $ When I checked my bank account on Monday, they deducted our of my account for my cat's insurance I called and they told me they did an audit on my account and it went up $per month!!! How can they raise the price without notice almost triple cost? My health insurance is almost this much money My cat has never had any problems and has been to the vet once for a wellness check

In September of 2018, I called the agency to make sure my dog's (nymeria) insurance policy could be used for surgeryI was told that our policy was not active due to months of missed premiumsI found this odd because in May of 2018, I added a 2nd dog (finley) to the account, and did not have any missed premiums on said policyOne would think dogs on the same account would be billed the same waybut not with pet watch!
I was informed that I could pay the missed premiums and have my policy reinstated and back dated, so I did this and paid for multiple months of "missed premiums"

I have had this insurance for my cat since I adopted him more than years ago The cat has been healthy so I have not needed to use the insurance I received a letter in October stating that my current insurance would be discontinued and to ensure continuity with coverage they provided me with options All options were at least times the amount I am currently paying I did a lot of shopping and comparison, which included *** I called *** to confirm the information on the letter (separate calls with different representatives, I figured it could not be right) They confirmed the pricing and even agreed that it was an outrageous increase They quoted me policies on the phone as if the cat was a brand new client This is the same cat that they have been insuring for the past 7+ years! They were the most expensive provider from the that I looked (half of them better rated than ***) They argue that the coverage was enhanced and therefore the price increase As I reviewed the coverage, the only change introduced was reimbursement changing from 70% to 80%, everything else was the same I am sorry, this does not justify increasing a policy price 400%!

They charged my credit card without any notification that a payment was dueThey never gave me any information about my policyWhen I called customer service, they were very unhelpful and only tried to talk me into staying with them rather than trying to address why I was ending the policy

I submitted three claims on my dog's health policy via email on 3/23/16, one of them being for my dog's euthanasia This company's turnaround time for paying claim can be as long as two months, and I waited an additional week over the two-month mark for payment before contacting them by phone on 6/3/ When I spoke to their representative, I was told that my claims had not been paid and that they had sent me an email informing me that my claim submissions were incomplete When I stated that I did not receive any such email, the representative told me that she could not resend the email but that I had failed to submit my dog's entire veterinary history from the time of my dog's last claim in May of up through the first date of the latest claims I had submitted which is December of 2015, regardless whether or not any of it was related to the losses I had submitted - a policy that has never been disclosed to me in any of my past dealings with them and is not stated in their writt

24PetWatch (PTZ Insurance) has totally refused to honour our genuine claim for the surgery on our petThey use a standard set of issues - incomplete documentation, phony hour claim submission deadlines, missing documents that they had during the call with their previous CSRThis company seems to have no intention of paying out any claims, or at least delaying, delaying, delaying until the customer gives up
