24Petwatch denied a valid claim for pet insurance due to an ingested chicken bone and have clearly lied on their website, which states "Allergic reactions, tummy aches, bee stings and swallowed chicken bones - 24PetWatch helps you prepare for the unexpected and ensure that, no matter the illness or accident, your playful pooch is covered for life." This statement is fraud, they will not cover my dog's illness due to an ingested chicken bone

I definitely do NOT recommend this insurance company for insuring your pet The free month of insurance we received is not worth the horrible customer service received Every time I would call in I would be on hold for at least minutes On top of that, their claims can take up to days Word of caution, they use most if not all of it Maybe because the policy states you have days from treatment date to file If you do not provide all the information you need to you to on the first try you will more than likely be denied the claim

I began the tedious task of collecting all the documentation from two different veterinarians she was seen by, at the *** *** where we adopted her, and at the vet we ultimately started taking her toShe NEVER had anything happen to her that was related to this injury/trauma of falling off the bed and striking her head, or having a seizureBut I got pages of various notes and sent the by fax to 2*** as requestedI use a website "***.com" to upload the pages, as I have no fax machineI received a confirmation email that the pages were successfully faxedI have been stuck in a nightmare loop of emails, phone calls, and letters with regards to this claimI was told by 2*** they never received ANY of the pages I had faxed, and that the claim was closedI re-faxed the pages again, this time, pages2*** asks me for the fax number from which the fax was sentWhat?I used a website!!! They need a fax number, as that is how their records are stored and recordedI had to contact the website and ask about thisThey gave me the fax number that is used to send the faxesI provided it to 2***, they say they have nothing on file from that fax number!! I am fuming at this point! Totally the most unorganized and unprofessional organization or company I have ever had to deal with!!
Different employees at 2*** offer various help and assistance levels with this issueI went round and round with someone trying to get this straightened out yesterdayI had received an email stating "Thank you for attempting to submit your recent pet insurance claim(s)Unfortunately, we are unable to process your claim at this time for the reasons listed below: 'Missing Claim Form'To most effectively care for our furry friends, we need all required documents, written legibly, before we are able to process a claim." When I called back, I was told my claim was incomplete because there was no claim formI explained in great detail that the claim had already been submitted LAST MAY, and that I was attempting to add all the requested information I had been asked forApparently, when you fail to meet even ONE SINGLE requirement, your claim is CLOSED, and you need to start FROM SCRATCH Every.Single.Time!! This was the first person since LAST MAY to tell me this! I was furious! At this point I am ready to just blow the whole thing off, but it is nearly $I am trying to claim!
The woman on the phone yesterday told me she would personally attach the previous claim form to the paperwork I have submitted (for the THIRD TIME), and that I should have no further issues with the claimToday, I received another email stating "Unfortunately, we are unable to process your claim at this time for the reasons listed below'Missing Claim Form'To most effectively care for our furry friends, we need all required documents, written legibly, before we are able to process a claim."
I called 2*** AGAIN, and had to go through all of this AGAIN with another employee!! At this point, I thoroughly believe this company HAS NO INTENTION of paying this claimI have had to jump through so many hoops and file again and again and again and make phonecall after phonecall after phonecall for the same claim!
This has been going on for nearly months!! Every time I think it is done and moving forward, I receive another email to the contrary!
I will NEVER recommend this company or its services to ANYONEI would like to see legal action taken against themThey take months and years of policy payments, and then have no intention of paying

On Sept 29, I submitted a claim for my catI looked in the portal and it showed that the claim had been pain and cheque was sentI still had not received the check in November so I called them and was told that they would put a stop payment on the cheque and reissue another oneIn December I received a cheque and deposited it in my bank account and days later they put a stop payment on the cheque When I called them they said it was the first cheque that they sent and don't know why it took months to get itAs of today Jan 21, I have still not seen a reissued chequeOn Jan 8th I called them back and was told to give them my bank info so they could direct deposit it and I still don't have itI have paid premiums for years and the least can can do is pay the claim in a timely manner instead of lying and saying the cheque is in the mail

Let me try and make this as succinct as possible considering the MANY issues I have with this company right now
April 30, 2016, my TWO cats were seen for wellness visitsMay 1, 2016, I began attempting to submit my claimsI was told that I had to submit the original invoice, medical records, and insurance claim form for the claim to be considered for reviewAfter multiple attempts to get this information to the insurance company, the claims were FINALLY reviewed on 7/20/One claim was paid, no problemThe other has been denied several timesI received several different sets of instructions on how to remedy this situation and none of them workedNow, I can't even find the Appeal Process Form needed to file an appeal on my own

24Petwatch is horrible at paying claims but loves to charge you a premium each monthThey hire the most incompetent and arrogant claims reps everThey love to play games and tell you after you fax or email all necessary documents and info to pay your claims that they have not received all your information They stall and then tell you sorry we are denying payment because you did not submit your claims within the day window 24PETWATCH is a SCAM that I will be reporting to the insurance commission legally!

After moving and attempting to update the address on file with our pets microchips we were informed that we would have to purchase coverage to update our information, and they there was no way to remove the incorrect address without payingWhen asked for a manager "We do not have any, what I have told you is correct"
