We had a problem with our A/C at our rental property and called Great Dane on a Saturday to fix itIssue was diagnosed to be a bad capacitor which needs to be replacedI was charged $(including 50% weekend surcharge) for labor & $for parts, a total of $Later I came to know through a friend that it should cost around $150-$So I looked up for cost of this capacitor based on Part# P291-4054RS listed on the invoice and most of them costed around $20-$60, which I was charged $i understand its a common practice to mark up replacement parts, so I called other heating & cooling guys and they quoted me $150-$ I called Great Dane for an explanation, and the service manager was trying to justify the cost by saying they offer year warranty (which is not listed anywhere in invoice) and also all their technicians are highly skilled (which should be covered under labor cost)When I questioned him more and mentioned about the other quotes I received, he sa
