I'm finally moving out of this disaster of a buildingGreystar Management is terribleThere staff is less than stellar not to mention a bit uneducated in the officeI had a breearlier this year due to my neighborsThey decided to bring home the uber guy that brought them home at 4am to continue with the festivitiesThis uber guy broke into my unit Sunday morning at 8am the next day, while I was home! The police that I called, responded immediatelyWe needed to pull the footage to see how this guy got in the building but no one knew how to access the camerasI received the building managers cell phone to call her because no team member knew what to do in this scenarioI was scolded by the property manager for calling her personal numberMind you there is a situation at the buildingThe only engineer that knew how to use the cameras wasn't onsite until 11am, and he took his sweet time getting in alsoThey did nothing to even check and see if I was okThey didn't even offer an apology for this happeningMy neighbors had nothing happen to them whatsoeverThey should've been asked to leave the building as its luxury living and there are families here also I went to court for the brewhere I was threatened by this man IN COURT, then I had to be escorted to my car by an armed guard because he was waiting for me outsideAll the while I was in the middle of launching my businessGreystar did absolutely nothing human about this situationI was able to break my lease WITH payment to them and worked with their attorney to do soThere is a mark on my record now due to something they filed against me which is making it difficult for me to moveI really wish they would just cut their losses and let me goThis incident has done more damage to me than anythingAll I did was wake up on a sunday morning to an uber driver in my unitI've taken the hit on this, not my neighbors who continued their partying lifeThey have no accountability for anything that happens hereThere was another breakin also and the doorman who was on duty during my break in was fired for taking pictures of us women in the building and looking at pornographic material on dutyThe building didn't mention anything about all scenariosNot even a 'make sure you lock your doors' email or 'we are taking situations like this seriously'They brushed all of this under the rug I never want to deal with this company again and will do everything and anything I can to let everyone know how they conduct businessI will write about this also and somehow get this in the papersThere are numerous negative reviews about them all over the placeMany with my exact situation

I am completely upset with Greystar Management and the manager at Eddyline at BridgeportI have asked the manager to do simple tasks and to make sure the apartment is amazing and all she does is laugh, gives me excuses and reasons as to why it can't be done and she just looks at me like I don't know what I am talking aboutTheir is no customer service but stupidity and dumbness at the apartment place, The place is great and the apartments are nice, but the manager has no people's skills and is uninterested in you or what you want done to be a better place to live at Eddyline and her boss is no better, but a joke, the so called regional manager, who is not, but just there to take up space and she thought it was a big joke to, when I spoke to her on the phoneI do not recommend the place, unless you want to be taken advantage of in which I think they do wellI rather stay in a Trump place!!!!

THIS REVIEW IS TO HELP OTHERS ONLY!!!! If you see the name Greystar connected to the place you want to live inRUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!! It is the worst company everI should have researched this company before I moved into a placeLESSON LEARNED!! When something goes wrong they blame it on you! They do not listen to anyoneThey have the worst employees and treat the tenants like peasantsI have lived in so many different apartment complexes and never had any issues until I lived in a Greystar managed buildingI actually had the unfortunate pleasure of speaking to a very high up individual in the company and they turned it around on me when they were the ones to blameIt was such a simple fix and a HUGE safety issueInstead of fixing problems or facing them Greystar runs and hidesThey are cowards and cannot own up to their mistakesIts frankly pathetic!! I never asked to have something horrible happen and when I asked for help they turned so fast on meThe only reason I am writing this review is to help others see that this company will ruin you and hurt you in anyway possibleI finally came to terms with the horrible treatment and stopped letting them hurt meI am speaking to a legal consultant to help me ever since Greystar did not help me with a safety issueNow that this safety issue is continuing to get worse I have more than enough emails, recordings, police records, pictures, videos and documents to back up my storyI even found out terrible things that this company was doingI was neglected by this companyI finally got more people to speak up and talk to my "help"These individuals have even more proof and information to add to my caseThis is a pathetic version of a companyWE ARE STANDING TOGETHER NOWYOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TURNED YOUR BACKS ON US GREYSTAR! Also in the lease we sign there are rules such as no more than two pets (everyone has more but when I needed a service dog they told me to get rid of one of my two catsIllegal much?? ADA states that a service dog is not an animalIdiots), no businesses out of the apartment (Happy ending massages are occurring out of my building), no drugs or illegal activity (hard drugs are being sold and used in the building), no one can live with you without being on the lease (felonies are living here under the radar), etcAll of these are broken and no one ever follows upThere are drug dealers in my building along with a guy who is PIMPING his girlfriend outThere is a guy here who is NOT on the lease that has several warrants out for his arrest, attempted manslaughter, felonies like is christmas, tried killing his girlfriend in the building, got arrested and came right back to live here when HE IS NOT ON THE LEASE

September 17, We are sorry to hear that Mr [redacted] is still unhappy with the enforcement of our delinquent rent policies here at Tempe Park PlaceAs stated in an earlier response, rent is due on the first of each month and late on the secondAs a courtesy we do not charge a late fee until the 4th of each monthPlease let it be noted that to date this is the only response being written by management responding to a resident’s dissatisfaction of the property’s rental payment policiesProperty management employees are in place to enforce these rules and sometimes the responses given by the staff are not well received by the residents due to additional fees incurred when late payments are collectedIn reference to Mr [redacted] ***’s claim that “In addition to charging a late fee they also included a service fee which is not mentioned in the lease agreement,” I would like to invite Mr [redacted] to review page of his lease contract in which it states under SPECIAL PROVISIONS (CONTINUED FROM PAGE 2): A $service fee will be assessed for delivery of a five-day notice for non-payment of rentIn regards to Mr [redacted] ***’s comment “still waiting for [redacted] to give me a call as requested on the 6th of September”, I would like to refute this as I did speak to Mr [redacted] on the phone on or around that date in which he informed me that “I would accept his personal check and that accommodations were made for him in the past and that he could verify that the funds were there”I responded politely that I did not question his ability to pay the rent that I was just following the policy that had been established and could not account for his claim of his previous accommodations at that time I would again like to state that we strive to always provide the best living experience for all of our residents and we appreciate any and all feedback The offer to Mr [redacted] stands if he would like to discuss any aspect or have us provide him with another copy of his lease agreementThe team members of Tempe Park Place truly do care about providing the best living experience possible for our residents Tempe Park Place Manager

Hello, The refund was received by the Complainant on September 12,

I had an issue with Graystar Managment Services contract ventor " [redacted] ***" and Grayster did nothing to resolve this issue I was accused of opening an account with [redacted] under another name and [redacted] would not offer services until the bill was paid (and it wasn't even my bill) Graystar said it wasn't there issue and I was forced to have antenna TV and no internet services since [redacted] has complete control over the complex and you cannot have [redacted] Cable When I tried to get Network TV from ***, I was told my apartment faced the wrong direction for [redacted] signalsSince Stonebridge does not allow dishes to be installed on the roof of their buildings, I could not get [redacted] network channelsI asked to be allowed to get out my lease because of these issues and Graystar said sure - as long as you pay the break lease fee which is over $2, Also I called them four times and left a message without a response and finally went to their Phoenix office and was told the Customer Service Manager was not in I finally got a call back from the Customer Service Manger when I left another message telling them I was going to call the Revdex.com There Customer Service Manager leaves much to be desired I could go on and on with this issue and the problems I encountered with both [redacted] and Graystar, but there is not enough minutes in the day

In regards to complaint # [redacted] , we offer the following: When a new resident moves into the community they have a choice; they can either pay a refundable security deposit of $or purchase a surety bond from [redacted] for $This surety bond represents the $ It is important to understand when a lease is signed by more than one person, each person is fully responsible for all terms in the lease agreementWhen the apartment was vacated, there was damage to the carpet and the apartment was left dirtyA breakdown for the damage is as follows:· $- Cleaning of apartment· $ - Replace stove drip pans· $ - Stains and damages to the carpet This resulted in a balance due of $The residents were sent a Move Out Statement detailing these charges to their last known addressThe property also put in a claim with [redacted] for $There are two claims associated with this account: 1) [redacted] posted a claim with [redacted] ***, Incfor $137.40, this includes the $from the original amount owed and $for the collection agency feeThe lease agreement allows management to recapture the fee they are charged by the collection agency for collection efforts2) [redacted] – posted their own claim to recapture the $they had to pay [redacted] for these damagesOnce an account has been assigned to the collection agency, the Management Agent relinquishes all rights and control to the claim Any further communication needs to be directed to [redacted] ***, incas they now have all the documentation in their possession Thank you

I had a horrible experience where I felt bullied by the apartment manager who neglected to report maintenance requests to the maintenance team and told me how horrible I was as a residentMind you, I have never paid rent late and my apartment was always cleanUltimately I was dissatisfied with the customer service and chose to leave such apartment complexI then moved to another complex who was also taken over by [redacted] This complex has been wonderful over the summer and they have made some much needed improvementsThe maintenance requests were being responded to quicklyWe were not having to call back for follow upsThe staff was friendlyThis is until recentlyThe new office manager that took over about a month ago was the property manager we moved out of our last complex forI have never seen a complex take such a quick turn for the worseI hope they resolve this issue quickly

The way this company handles its clients/customers is beyond poor Dealing with clients in a condescending manner and speaking to them in a way that is just down right rude is unacceptable Control of their customer touch points and making the representatives of Greystar require "relations" as a serious part of their role should be a priority of focus My short interactions with this company has convicned me to never allow myself or anyone of my influence to have business with this group

We rented a one bedroom apartment at Bailey farm, Bothell WA for a months leaseAll of our furnitures are in storage till we move in our new homeWe lived in this apartment for months with only air mattress and catBefore we moved out, we cleaned everything including the kitchen appliance, bathroom, laundry room, we also steam cleaned and shampooed the carpetSince it's a short lease and no furniture at all, there's no damage, and we made sure the apartment looks as good as we moved in when we hand in the keysFour weeks later, we received a bill from greystar, not only they kept all our deposit but also they asked for additional charges as apartment cleaning, painting EtcWe lived there for 3months with no furniture, all the walls are spotless, painting is not necessary at allWe contacted greystar for picture proof of apartment damage and receipt of services they claimed, none of those are providedNot only to say the apartment is as new as we moved in, but also according to WA state law, landlords can only keep deposit money up to days after the lease endedRenters are not responsible for wear tear chargesOn Revdex.com, this company is rated as F, with claims in years, of them are related to untruthful chargesWe filed a claims and had no response from them at all

Revdex.com Id # [redacted] Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this allegedincidentPlease see the following remarks. On Tuesday January 21, at 1:pm Mr [redacted] contacted [redacted] , Assistant Manager at Residences at [redacted] via email and allegedthat he was exiting the rear gate following behind another vehicle, and hestopped midway through and the gate struck his vehicle and he wanted to know ifit was something that could be claimed [redacted] replied that he would review thevideo and confirmed with Mr [redacted] the time and type ofvehicle this allegedly happened to and he would respond back to him On January 22, the video tape wasreviewed and there was no evidence of ANY car being struck during the timeframe he reported or any car before or after that time frame [redacted] informedMr [redacted] and invited him to come and review the video tape for himself Mr [redacted] indicated he would stop by on thefollowing Wednesday or Thursday, January or 30th but he neverdidIn we have had one repair to the rear gate and it was for a wheelthat needed to be welded because it was squeaking, it had nothing to do withsensors or any mechanical malfunction it was a repairOn April 4th, Mr [redacted] emailed me, [redacted] , Property Manager and wanted to know what we were going to do to repairhis vehicleHe again reiterated that he was following another car through thegate and the gate hit his vehicle when he stopped I replied back and said there was no evidenceof the incident and asked if he had reported this to the [redacted] andfiled a report because the insurance companies require this and he replied thathe did not because he did not want to pass this through his insuranceprovider I then asked him if there wereany witness to this and he indicated he had passengers that would give anotarized statement. He then called the Greystar Corporate office and spoke tothe resident relations department and it was referred back to the property andthe regional property managerThe conclusion was there is no liability on theproperty, as there is no evidence this incident occurred at this location, there are no independent witness, no damage to the gate, nothing recorded onthe video tape nor was this reported to the authoritiesThank you, [redacted] Property ManagerResidences at ***

I live in Hamilton Ridge, an apartment complex Greystar managesI have had numerous problems with this apartment, and while the problems were not initially caused by Greystar, the managers they have in place are not really amenable to fixing anything, not even the leaks and the water coming into the apartmentWhen they do send someone out to "look at" the problem, they often take the look and see approach instead of actually fixing anything which will cause long term problems in the buildingI also recently found out that the property manager they hired Elizabeth Mach has a criminal record, this is a person who has access to the keys of all the apartments! I would not recommend doing business with these people!

My family & I rented an apartment at [redacted] in Katy, TX & paid for the entire year's lease up-front With about months left on our lease, I recieved a great job offer in another state & we decided to move The same week we were moving, Greystar bought the property from its previous owners & fired (or laid-off) the property managers, leaving no one in the office for us to do a walk-through withSince we were moving out early, we weren't seeking the 3-months of rent for the time we wouldn't be residing in the apartmentOn the day of our move, we couldn't locate a manager to do the walk-trough as none were currently employedWe thoroughly scrubbed the apartment & left written notice in the night drop box that the apt was now vacant Our trash can was full so we place sealed garbage bags by the garbage can for the next day's collectionA few months later, we started receiving collection calls regarding this property At first they claimed we had broken the lease & owed back rentWe document everything & sent the collection company proof that we had paid the lease in-full & upfront They then said we had damaged the apartment & owed $ We sent them the pictures we had taken upon our move-out, showing that the apartment was left in an impeccable condition We contacted Greystar who told us this time that the $was for the trash bags we'd left by our garbage can & they kept insisting that the apartment had been left damaged - though they could not produce any evidence, receipts, etcto support this They also claimed a property manager was on-duty that day, though one hadn't been on duty for over a weekBecause I refuse to pay for a debt, this has damaged us by hurting our rental history for an apartment we paid for in-full & upfrontWe refuse to be extorted & are filing a criminal complaint with the [redacted] & [redacted] today as well as a civil lawsuit for damagesReading the other reviews of this company on the Revdex.com site we see this is their MO & they do this to many people regularly I would encourage anyone hurt by this company to file a criminal complaint with the [redacted] as they obviously don't care about Revdex.com reviews & have an "F" grade There is also interest in this by a local news station, hopefully they will run the story & help us expose this sham of a company

I am absolutely disgusted with my living situationI am paying an inordinate amount of money for an apartment that is UNLIVABLEI will share a few stories: - Drug dealers lived above me for the first three months I lived therePeople were in and out all the timeMind you I pay $1,for a one bedroom, so it's not a bad areaI don't necessarily blame management for this, however, it was simply an unfortunate circumstance - Quality of apartments/outdoor area has greatly diminished since I've been thereDog poop everywhere, garbage, etcManagement sent out an email asking residents to pick up garbage if they saw itFor $1,400/month, hire someone to do that, that's not my job - My A.Cbroke three timesThe first two times they slapped a bandaid on it and didn't fix the actual unitI couldn't sleep in my apartment because Florida gets very hot - I was very clear about not wanting people in my apartment unless I was calledThis happened a couple of timesOne time they put in a service request for my apartment that I had not ordered (they entered the wrong unit number)I immediately called and asked that they cancel itThey said no problemI came home to find a service order on my island stating they fixed something that wasn't even broken - The absolute worst recently occurredA new neighbor moved in and a smell started seeping through my apartmentIt is so strong (smells like burning nail polish and smoke) that anyone who enters my apartment instantly has a migraine or feels nauseousManagement has been trained to deny, deny, deny, so anytime someone came over they claimed they didn't smell anythingTrust me, it makes your eyes waterI've stopped sleeping there, or if I do sleep there I don't actually sleep as I am sick ALL NIGHT Management is terribleRude, condescending, they only care about money and filling unitsSeveral other neighbors I've spoken with have stated they wish to move as well as the quality has gone downhill the past year/year and a half One last thingI moved in for security and was told the gates would be workingThe gates have no worked since I moved in (May 2016)After receiving several complaints, they sent out an email stating they would work on it early Totally unacceptableI will make sure to tell everyone I meet to NEVER move here

Questionable billing/collection practicesTenant rent portal mysteriously taken down; blatant refusal to issue rent invoices/bills and/or invoice summary; demanding only cash for rent remittances; refusal to provide hard-copy invoices; refusal to provide rental invoices; inability to provide invoice cross-reference number or account or invoice tracking number; line line item summary or billing back up detail; bounced/over-drafted, cancelled checks; no explanation as to payables

I have not and did not live here but I applied to live here by paying the $management fee and the must pay $administration feeCheri was the staff member that contacted me via email and she was very standoffish and generally unfriendly I was moving across country and applied for a lease that was open starting 1/29/with a set rent of a monthThen after explaining that I was not going to be able to be in town until the following saturday, they said that if that was my new date the new monthly rent was now $because of high demand I find it quite ridiculous that waiting another week would cause my rent to be raised $60, after I had paid over $to applyThis $was also after the original rent was when I had originally called The management staff that I talked to was terrible, and were not understanding at all about my situationIt is very disappointing to me as I was basically dead set on moving in, even after reading reviews on other websites about the terrible management staffAlso, Cheri said she had talked to her assistant manager and that I was to make a decision that day whether I was moving in that date or notTake your money elsewhere

Complaint # [redacted] This email is in response to complaint # [redacted] [redacted] has talked to her and resolved all issuesMrs [redacted] has renewed her lease and we have addressed her concerns about customer service Thank you, [redacted] ***

This place is constantly broken intoThe staff and management at the corporate headquarters is far below the industry standard, and they never return any of your phone callsThe grounds where I live are terribly kept and there is ammonia and dog fecal matter everywhereThe construction is awful and no matter how hard you try to make this a enjoyable Luxury living experience you fall shortTerrible service
