I did email them, twice infact before I got response other than a gereric answer email. They did look into my accout and said that my phone my android phone didnt have the setting needed for them to give me what the advertise and that only Iphones had the needed setting. So no mater what they cant deliver what they advertise if you have an android phone even though ur app is available on android.

honestly I started using groovebook back in 2013 when my daughter was born and I never had a problem until recently. My credit card on file mysteriously was deleted off the account. I updated it a few times to get my pictures and I keep getting an email to update payment info. Im scared to do it again because I'm afraid that I will be charged for the back months that I didn't receive the books.

I canceled my account and got a confirmation email that it has been cancelled on 10/16/16 yet they're still charging me every month.The photos also absolutely suck now.No one answers emails and there's no phone number to call anyone about this issue.Its sneaky and unfair.Its like nobody cares and this company can rip off who ever they want.I don't care if it's $3.? A month it's my money and they no longer have my permission to take from my account yet they do anyway.

Review: This company is supposed to charge me $5.98 a month and this month they charged me these multiple debit charges and refuse to get back to me on why.

The company is claiming they do not see the charges and wNt me to send my bank statements to them whichis somthing im a little uncomfortable with the thought of when I have changed my card information to keep them from pulling out more money. Other than that they are claiming they have done nothing wrong and are sending me only some of the proof of purchasing and claiming they don't see a lot of the new charges they have charged me.

Review: I stopped using groove book around March 2015 when I kept getting poor quality books. I let my credit card info expire on the app. Then a month ago I got a charge from them on my new debit card! I contacted them for a refund, to cancel my account and demanded that they tell me how they obtained my credit card information. They will not respond to me with how they obtained my information. All I keep getting is a run around answer that their billing department is looking into it. I want an answer and I want them investigated! They appear to be obtaining people's credit card info illegally!Desired Settlement: I want to know that they have stopped this practice or are put out of business for shady practices!!!!

I have received many messages back from Groovebook but none of them answer my initial question of how they obtained my credit card information. I never gave them my new card number and so I want to know how they obtained my information. I keep getting the run around and no straight answer. The last message I received back from them stated my account was cancelled and I wouldn't be charged again. They already cancelled my account over a month ago so that was not something new. But, again no response to my question. I have also received many message saying they are looking into the matter or it's being researched and then I receive a message back with no answer. I have all of these messages saved.

Review: This company does not respond to emails and this is the only way to reach them as far as I am aware. It takes longer than they say to receive your pictures and I did not receive my last book. I emailed twice and have not received a response. I was charged I believe 3.99 for my book that I did not receive. I want my pictures and I no longer want to deal with this company any longer. Poor customer service.Desired Settlement: Please expedite my pictures as these were expected for a Christmas gift and I would like to have before valentines day. Please cancel any records of any billing information you may have after this has occurred. Thank you.

Review: I had a subscription before under my debit card but had to get a new card number. I never updated my information with them. They did not charge me after that as they did not have my billing info. 8 months after changing my card information they started billing me again. I never provided them with that information. I have emailed Groovebook as that is there only form of contact 4 times now to 2 different email addresses ([redacted] and [redacted]) to 1) cancel my subscription 2) find out how they obtained my card information that was not provided to them, and I have yet to get any response for either issue.Desired Settlement: I would like the current charge from November to be refunded, my subscription cancel and an explanation of how my card information was obtained.

Review: I have, for months now, tried to get my account cancelled. I have contacted them no less than 5 times, asking for the cancellation of my account, and they have not responded, and keep charging me each month. I just want my account cancelled and want them to stop billing me each month. This is over five months now that I have been billed for a service I am no longer using.Desired Settlement: I want my account cancelled, and I want them to stop billing me.

Review: I have been requesting assistance from Groovebook for over a month and have yet to get a resolution or response from them. I initially contacted them because I had an issue with some pictures I uploaded. I then realized that the gift subscription I was given for an entire year expired within 5 months. So I asked them to look into why they would have an annual subscription expire within 5 months of purchase, and also inquired into receiving my pictures. I have not had any response, no pictures and no help. I have asked for a refund and no refund has been issued.Desired Settlement: At this point I no longer want the pictures. I want a refund.

Review: I was not receiving the product after changing the information on the app. I emailed them many times and asked them to refund the money or send me my groove book. I also asked them to cancel my subscription. They did not cancel the subscription and sent me emails back that did not help my problem. I became frustrated and asked them for a phone number to speak with an actual person. The response I received each time was a general statement that did not answer my question or provide me with information even though I sent a detailed email of the issue. I finally found a way to cancel the subscription through their website and even got an email confirming my cancelation. I also received my missing groove books. Finally satisfied it was over I go into bank account and they have taken 2.99 out of my account on 08/**/14. I emailed them and told them I wanted this corrected and no money ever taken out of my account again. I also demanded to speak to a live person to ensure this was resolved. I got an email back simply saying that I did cancel my account in June and have a nice day. I checked my bank account again to see a credit but instead another deduction of 2.99 out of my account! I am outraged and extremely upset!Desired Settlement: Not only do I want a refund of both charges since my cancelation I also want to speak to someone at the company to ensure that this problem is fixed because I don't believe their emails. I also want a letter sent to my home stating they are refunding my money and will not ever charge my account again.

Review: Groovebook offers a subscription based photo book service through an app that you download to your phone. they advertize that you upload photos from your phone to their app each month to get a 100 ct photo book of 4x6 photos. it states that in the faqs section that if the photos you upload are not original phone photos(not taken with your phone but uploaded from somewhere else) that they might not be the right format to full the 4x6 and as such will have white edges on it instead of being the full 4x6. well every photo I uploaded was a original phone photo and yet every picture had white edges. I email the for help and I received a longer winded version of what the faqs section states. the email said the issue was now resolved but to keep it open all I had 5to do was reply to the email. well I did that and after over week I never got a response back. so I email the a second time explaining to the that is didn't receive a response to my reply and even titled my email "you didn't respond to my reply email". I still got no answer for 2 days after that. so I went on their [redacted] page( the only other way to contact them other than the email) and posted on their wall explaining my frustration and my situation and asking for answers. the next morning I got a reply to my second email. they said that their pp requires photos be in a 2:3 ratio format to be 4x6 photos when printed and that only iPhones have that ratio. I have a droid the the closest format that my android phone had was 4:3 ratio so I could change my phone camera to that format but I would still have white edges, they would just be smaller. so the advertise that their app/product is for iPhone and android phones, as it is available to download on both app store and that they deliver full 4x6 photos as long as the photos were taken with the phone. this is in fact no that case as proven but their own admission in their response email to me that the ratio needed to get full 4x6 photos only iPhones have.Desired Settlement: they offered me my next groovebook for free but I don't want another book of photos I cant use because they wont fit the frames I bought them for. I have emailed them to cancel my subscription and I would like a refund for what I was charged for the first and only book I got as it was not what they advertised. also, I want them to either remove the app from the android market since it doesn't deliver what is promised or add a disclaimer that android customers have to agree them to to download the app stating that they will not get full 4x6 photos and that to get the smallest possible white edges that you will need to change the format setting on you phones camera. I would love if they could fix their app so that it works for android phone the way it works for iPhones. it is possible a shutterfly can do it.

Review: I've purchased a photo album

uploaded the pictures using the iPhone app and received a confirmation that it supposed to be delivered to me 7-10 business days

Contacted them 4 times through e mail (the only way to reach them) but didn't received the photo album

When I've asked about a refund I received an answer saying they don't "do" refunds.

it's been 3 month already and still nothing.Desired Settlement: Refund my money.

Review: We have been getting double charged for three months from this service. We stopped using the device and are still being charged for it. Review: I paid for a monthly subscription in 2014 and recently in 8/2015 bought a gift subscription for a friend. My email that was attached is no longer valid and I asked for the credits and all emails sent to be forwarded to my new email. I have received 10+ emails but no one is calling me or resolving the issue. Old email was [redacted]. New email is [redacted]. I am looking for the gift certificate I purchased to be sent to me and it be a working code! And I expect my credits for my own subscription to be loaded under my new email. Customer service is horrible with your company and I am very disappointed in the lack of effort and resolution to this issue. It should have been fixed two weeks ago!Desired Settlement: I want my credit and the NEW subscription I just purchased to be sent to me via email and reflected correctly linked with my updated email address. I would like a direct phone call from someone here in the US!

Review: In April of 2015 I downloaded the app for Groovebook to my iPhone. The app never worked. I deleted the app and reinstalled it. Still nothing. I attempted to contact Groovebook multiple times through email, as they do not have a contact number whatsoever. I have never even heard back from them. Since April, 2015 my bank account has been charged $3.15 for services that I have never received. I found out that Groovebook is owned by Shutter Fly, so I contacted them. They told me multiple times that there is nothing they can do for me. I'm so fed up with this company that I could scream. My bank can't help me unless I'm willing to cancel my account completely and open a new account. I do not want to do this, as I have had this account for over 8 years and I have multiple things that I take care of from my account. Bottom line, the app never worked, I never received the first thing from this compay, and they have stolen money from me. Please help.Desired Settlement: I want my account with Groovebook to be cancelled and I want them to refund the money that they have stolen from me.

Review: Cannot get an adequate resolution to a problem with Groovebooks customer service. They send automated emails and there is no way to speak with a human via telephone.Desired Settlement: I would like to talk to a customer service representative via a phone conversation.
