Review: GrooveBook claims to send your photobook to your address in 10-14business days. I have been waiting for a book for 3months. They do not have a customer services phone number. Everytime I do not receive their book, ask for a refund and even ask to have my account cancel, they have a different representative send a generic message that doesn't quite answer the questions. I asked for my account to be closed 4times until they finally closed it. When I asked to close the account I would receive messages ignoring my request or saying they got new printing machienes and that services was going to be better.

I have been asking for a refund for my 2nd book for months and they keep saying they are sending me a reprint. The biggest issue is that the representatives are not aware of previous conversations. So for example, when I ask for a refund to my book that I never receive, I will get an answer about waiting 10-14 business days, but they don't seem to look far back to the other emails that clearly state I have waited 10-14business days, or that we are not talking about the last book that was shipped, instead a reprint from months back. Groovebook takes about 24-48 to answer every message and every month you have to upload 100months before they charge you. By the time your due date is up, you don't have a response on where your book is at or your still waiting for a reprint. I was being asked to upload a 4th book when I still hadn't received a 2nd book.

I only received their first book, the second and third never came, they reprinted the book about three times.

My mother also got Groovebook, their app claims they ship to PR but after she had paid and after she waited for her book they eventually told her they didn't ship there. Unfortunately, I recommended the book to another friend too which never recieved hers. What worries me about not having the books is that somewhere a long the months they decided to add a feature in each picture that tells you where exactly it was taken at. Now, theres books of 100pictures of my son that says exactly what part of the word we were in that moment the picture it was taken. I never agree to this.Desired Settlement: Ideally I would like to have my books with me because it concerns me that someone knows all the places my sons could be found out. However, I don't think this is possible, therefore I would like a refund. Of two books that I never received.

I have since written emails to Groovebook and they have answered to let me know they will not return my money. Customer service says they are sorry but they are not allowed to give refunds, therefore, it doesnt matter if I didnt receive the order, ive lost my money.

Review: I cancelled my account with Groove Book. I sent them an email to cancel in February 2015, since that is the only means on contacting them . I received a confirmation email see below.

Why was I charged $3.25 when the advertised cost states $2.99?

Review: I ordered a set of photo books on 1/**/15. I was told it would take 2-3 days to prepare the order (1/*8) and 10-14 days to mail them (2/**). I ordered them for an event on 2/**. When I wrote to customer service on 2/*/15 to check the status of the order, they advised that they shipped a week late and would not be received in time for the event. I requested an immediate cancellation and refund. They failed to respond to 11 written requests (they have no phone number to call, only contact is through email) over 26 days (through today, still have not received a refund). On 2/**/15 I received an email saying a supervisor would contact me as soon as possible, I have not heard back. I have sent 3 follow up emails over the last 12 days asking when I would hear from a supervisor, but have not received any response at all. The original request for cancellation and refund was made on 2/*/15 (26 days prior to this compliant), and 11 requests have been sent asking for assistance, which have been ignored.

I have asked to cancel the order and be issued a refund, the order was shipped anyway and received too late. I have asked to return the items and receive a refund and I have been ignored.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of all $45.36 they have charged me. It was charged in 3 transactions (2/*/15 $9.72, 2/*/15 $22.68, 2/*/15 $12.96) even after I requested cancellation and refund (2/*/15).

I would like a full refund of all the money that was paid - $45.36.

Groovebook was unable to recover photos that I uploaded on the application. They were therefore unable to send the photobook that I had requested.

Review: We moved from St. Louis to Chicago at the beginning of May 2014. We changed our address with Groovebook and we still have yet to receive our monthly order. We have a monthly membership with them that is a small $2.99, but it is more about not receiving the product. We sent emails and they said they were going to reship the product, but nothing ever came. We asked to be refunded for the months we did not receive a product and still nothing came. We asked them to cancel our order and no response. There are numerous complaints about non-response from this business if you [redacted] them online. They were a small company that grew to big because of their exposure on [redacted]. They cannot keep up with the number of orders and are not shipping products to customers.

Note: Groovebook allows you to upload photos from your phone (100/month) for $2.99 per month and they are suppose to ship you a nice book with the pictures. Started out great- we loved the books and would have continued with the service if we would have received the product. Needless to say, months later there is still no product and worse than that you cannot receive a response from the company.Desired Settlement: Refund us for the months we did not receive our Groovebook. Great idea, but if you cannot keep up with demand customers will cancel. Also, need to place an apology statement to customers on their website about the order delays or lost orders and for the poor customer service.

Review: I have an account with a company called Groovebook that prints books of pictures at $2.99 a month. I opened an account in Feb 2014 and was charged the correct amount for Feb and for March. All of a sudden in April we received a charge of $5.98 and for May, $5.98, that we did not authorize. I contacted groovebook - which only has an email address to do business with. They refused to give me the $11.96 refund that I am owed. They claim it's because I selected to receive two extra books for April and May, which I did not make any changes to my app and have only uploaded pictures to be sent to groovebook. This has got to be a glitch... and still they are refusing to refund me the $11.96. I have been going back and forth with them and still they will not provide me what is owed. So, I am writing to you to help. I have NEVER changed any settings in my account, and dont need three books of the same pictures. If this wasnt such an issue I wouldnt have brought it to your attention. But bad business and fraud should be reported. I have proof from my bank account that this was charged... and need some assistance in getting my refund. They are through email only - that is a red flag, and the fact they can't refund $11.96 is beyond me. I have no words.Desired Settlement: Refunded the $11.96 I am owed.
