I am rejecting this response because:I was contacted by H&R Block - BUT THERE WAS NO RESOLUTION!! She did not offer me a reasonable rate or offer to adjust the outrageous fee that I had no idea I would be payingSHe offered to take my complaint "to corporate" - whatever that meansI am waiting on a phone call stating my fees are credited accordingly and that they are instituting new protocols on addressing their fees with clients AT THE BEGINNING of tax filingI guess H&R Block feels a phone call is all that is neededShe did absolutely nothingNow I feel belittled even more.

I am rejecting this response because:We met with *** *** (local office) on 8/1/She said corporate had never communicated anything to her regarding our complaintShe assured us that our returns were covered for years because we had purchased the POM guaranteeShe stated H & R Block stood behind their returns and would work with us if there was a problem from the IRS with the amended returnsWe asked for something in writingShe said this should not be a problem, but it needed to come from her *** She said they would not re-amend the amended returns because she stood behind them being accurate, even though the schedule k in question that has caused this mess was for months in She said it appeared the IRS has accepted the amended returns because we had received communication from them asking for additional moniesShe said if she amended them it would cause the IRS to look at her for having to do so many amendments and would also cause the IRS to "target" us for audits because of the number of returnsWe agreed to adopt a "wait and see" stance and not pursue this further if we had something in writing stating they would take care of any problems that occurred with the amended returns(We stated that if we legitimately owed any additional taxes we would not look to H & R Block for this, but would require H & R Block to correct any problems with or taxes that were a result of errors in the and/or returns or changes made by the preparer when she did the amended returns(When doing the amended returns the preparer made other changes that had nothing to do with the schedule K in question.) *** told us if we heard nothing by that Friday we should contact her, as the office was closing for remodelingOn 8/3/we forwarded copies of the emails we had received from corporate to ***, as she said corporate had never notified herWe also let her know that we still had not heard anything from the ***On 8/8/*** replied to the email saying she was still trying to reach her ***On 8/20/we emailed *** back to say it has been three weeks and still no communication whatsoever from anyone anywhere at H & R Block. The business's response to this complaint is completely inaccurateThey have not communicated with us in any way since our meeting on 8/1/at the local officeNo emails, no phone calls, nothing! They have refused to resolve this in a timely manner and it appears that they are attempting to delay this long enough so that we will just let it slideTheir actions are beyond inexcusableTo reiterate, we agreed to just "wait and see" what steps the IRS will take if H & R Block would simply provide us IN WRITING a guarantee for the amended returns and the returnsThey have thus far refused to complyA ssuch, it appears we are back to our original request in terms of resolving this issue, that another prepared fix all the 2014/returns at H & R Block's expense and that all our monies paid th H & R Block be refunded(Note: *** also commented as we were leaving that they would give us a "nice" discount on our returns...whick obviously, we will not be having completed by H & R Block.) In response to Mrs*** rebuttal, I reviewed the documents that were attached and PDF #states these documents were self preparedIf the attached documents were filed in the H&R Block office, the form would not have self prepared listed and crossed out written in pen H&R Block and the tax professional’s nameTax documents that are prepared in the office would have H&R Block, the tax professional’s name and PTIN number printed with their signature listed. Even if he had, the current year was in the final stages when HIS second error was found WHY would I ever trust his agency to do my tax return when they had done such a bad job? I am rejecting this response because: I still have not received my refund of my interest and penalties. I have received an email stating that it was being processed but I've had those emails before
To date there has been no check received by us. (1-14-16)The company dismissing our request of all or at least a portion of our preparation fees, and offering a voucher for our taxes to be prepared for free this year is a joke! I have never worked with a company that had such poor Customer Service and poor Customer satisfaction. Having to make calls a week to Customer Service only for them to tell me that they had no way to speak with a person in the claims department. My claim was supposed to be processed - weeks, it is now been over weeks!

I am rejecting this response because: I had paid HR block over $to do my taxes they were not done properly because I gave the lady doing them all the correct information and if was done right the first time none of this would be happening!!!! I will never use hr block AGAIN and I will advise everyone I know to do the same because they are liers and done stand behind there work!! I also hope that my experience with them will go on the Revdex.com website for others to see how they operateIt's just wrong that this multi million dollar company can not take responsablitly for the actions of there employees!!
