On October 14, 2016, I received a bill form State Collection Service, Inc, on behalf of Aurora Wilkenson Medical ClinicIt was a bill for The service date was 5/17/(this must be for medical records, as I was seeing no doctor there at this time)I paid the bill to the collection agency immediately, as I pride myself on my excellent payment history and am very conscious of my credit scoreThis morning, I received a call form the collection agency telling me that I owed additional money to AuroraThey told me a bill was in the mail (I have not yet received it)This time, I tried calling Aurora, but was not able to reach a representativeI checked my Aurora billing history as it exists on their websiteI was never billed for the service I paid for on October 14thEverything through the summer of that they list in online billing statements, has been paid
I am extremely concerned that Aurora is turning over bills to a collection agency that they never tried to coll

On December 26, I received a bill for $ I sent in a payment for that amount with my HSA card, not realizing that it was expiring at the end of the month Of course, the payment couldn’t be made I went ahead and called Aurora’s billing department and let them know to please wait, I had to order a new card I received my new card and mailed the total payment on February 11, I got a letter in the mail today from a collection agency stating that I owed $ I called Aurora and they told me that although I had made the payment, since December another $was added to the bill and that was sent to collections I paid that bill today Feb 26, over the phone When I called the collection agency, they said I only owed $ I did not make a payment to the collection agency, but instead sent them my receipt from the payment to Aurora They said that this matter should be cleared up, but I am worried that this information will be added to my credit I

After making consistent payments on a a large bill my insurance did not cover I contacted Aurora billing to find out why my last payment was not showing up on my payment history The billing department was rude, sarcastic and would not even attempt to explain to me what was going on This is how you treat the patients who in good faith make payments!!!!!! I was treated like I was a lunatic who was wasting their time My payment was never credited to my account and they will not post it I feel that they stole from me and will not give me an explanation because they know they are wrong

My daughter and I both use Aurora physiciansI have been receiving bills for our amount due after insurance and sending checks with the current billing stub included in the provided envelopeAurora applied my payments to old bills (4+ years) they indicated had already been submitted to a collection agency and, therefore, submitted all of the most recent bills to collectionNot only did they submit them, but they submitted them by individual visits and to separate collection agencies so, in the past month, I have accounts that hit collection and completely devastated my credit

I was seen at this hospital back in September for an emergency hand surgeryI was weeks pregnant at the time of the surgeryAll went well with the surgeryWe received a bill for around $2,We were able to pay the majority of the bill at the time it was receivedAfter we paid what we could, there was about $left to be paidOf course I had the baby about a month and a half after the surgery and as most people are aware, with maternity leave from work and other cost associate with a new little one money became much tighterI contacted Aurora in Feburary to discuss a payment plan optionWas told the only option was to pay half up front and a payment plan could be made for the restI advised we have already paid over half of our original bill, they did not care and said that half of remaining bill had to be paid in order to set up payment planI asked what was the latest that we could make this initial half up front paymentThe lady on the phone said that she woul

Aurora refuses to take payments after monthsThey then send to collection which only gives you months to pay offThe origional bill was $and it is down to $270, but I am being threatened with the Credit Bureau if I don't pay in full by September 10th
Aurora is the ONLY network who will not work with people on payments even if that person will/is paying on a regular basis. They would rather throw you to the wolves (collections)Way to go Aurora! !!!

Last year we were forced by our work to switch insurances We switched from *** to *** *** and there we were confused at the beginning about what Network covered and what it did not I called Aurora and told them about my change of insurance and asked whether they "accepted" or whether they "took" *** *** ( I don't remember exactly the verb I used) The representative I talked to said "yes" This was end of last year, This year I went to get an annual exam, and then I had a mammogram followed up by an ultrasound because of potentially abresults in the mammogram--all with Aurora Health care Now the first bill has arrived, rejected by *** *** because it turns out that Aurora is NOT in their network Yesterday, I spoke with a number of representatives, including a supervisor (***) First I was told that the person I talked to initially said "yes" to my question of whether they accepted *** *** because they do have a contract with *

I had made arrangements with Aurora for my ***'s medical billsWe were on a payment plan, but have not been receiving bills from them consistently each monthI received a notice today from a collection agencyI called Aurora to try and understand why this happened, since both my *** and I had accounts set up on the same day, with the same payment arrangements, all bills paid at the same time, yet my account wasn't in collections
They said she had had new medical bills which automatically cancelled the payment plan, and that we had missed a payment, so everything was due immediatelyAlthough we had just made payments in the last month to bring our account currentWe have not received any new bills for any new medical services
When I spoke to the person she said they could remove it from collections and restore the payment plan, but they wouldn't because it wasn't their faultI asked how am I supposed to make payments without receiving the bills and just got the standa

I went to the Aurora Waclinic for dental pain I was having, at the time I had State Insurance, which covered 100% of my medical bills, was still billed, and even after calling to get it fixed, two years later, it is still on my credit report, still marked as I have not paid it, was never run through the insurance I had at the time, has been an absolute nightmareAt the time of this appointment I had Children Community Health, which is through Badger-care, StateIt is sad to me that big hospitals like Aurora could care less about you, especially if you are on State insuranceAlso this appointment was a nightmare as wellI had teeth that needed to be removed and was waiting for the surgery, I was in so much pain, and I got lectured about wanting any pain medication, as if I were a drug addictI'm a hard working, Father, Husband, and mostly a human being, who was in pain, and got treated less than I deservedAnd then to get slapped with this bill, and have it linger is salt

I had a medical bill through Aurora based on a previous appointments which I had called to set up a payment planInitially when I set up the payment plan, I gave Aurora my credit card number with the correct informationThey had informed me that I would be notified if there were any troublesA day passes and I received a call from Aurora stating that they had incorrectly input my credit card information to their system and needed to have it updatedSo I called them back and gave them, again, the credit card numberThey then informed me that they would inform and contact me if there were any other problemsSo three months pass without any notificationThen I receive a billing statement that notifies me that I have received a final notice on my bill, stating that I have not made any payments on my bills for the past three monthsThe result was that my bill was sent to collectionsI called Aurora to notify them of the problem and they said they would try to take care of it and no

Our son went to Aurora Health Care at *** ** *** *** ** *** *** ** *** and was seen by Dr*** ** ***, MD He has seen him multiple times within the past couple of months and considers him his primary doctor On May 25th, 2016, he had a follow up appointment and while we were there, we asked the doctor to remove a sliver in his finger *** *** used an alcohol wipe and a tweezers and didn't even need a band aid and it took less than seconds When we received the bill, we got charged for an office visit, $and we were also charged $for "remove foreign body simple" We feel that $is a little pricey for what was actually done It should have just been included in the office visit When we called billing to complain, they said they'd put it under review We received a letter on July 27th, stating that the documentation they reviewed supports this service and was coded and charged correctly A little common sense has to play into this This

I received a service from Aurora Healthcare in May I received my first bill in July I sa payment plan at that timeIn October 2015, I received a bill from AuroraI looked through my bank records and noted that Aurora had only automatically withdrew payment from my account in July I made an online payment to Aurora in October I received no further correspondence from Aurora in NovemberIn December, I made another payment using the online system
In January and February, I was unable to make payments to Aurora Healthcare online as the online system indicated that my account number was invalidIn February, I received a notice from a collections agency that Aurora Healthcare had submitted my debt to themI received no notice from Aurora that they would be submitting my debt to collections
Moreover, the mail correspondence that I did receive from Aurora healthcare was sporadic (did not arrive each month), frequently contained another family member

Multiple bills sent to collection that are not mine! Have not been to Aurora Health for over years - Spent hours on phone with no help from Aurora

I have received billing for incorrectly coded procedures I had requested a preventative colonoscopy and was incorrectly billed for a cancer screening diagnostic colonoscopy and also a hemroid procedure that I did not ask for
Since that time (05/03/2016)I have had other doctors visits and one thyroid procedure that I have been billed for and paid in full and marked my checks clearly on the front of the checks what the payments were being sent for
This billing office now tells me and it is clear from my latest Statment that the money I sent in for the more recent visits is being applied to the outstanding balance for procedures I am disputing
I have copies of all checks I have sent them, showing clearly what I sent the money for
I HIGHLY OBJECT TO THIS HEALTH CARE SYSTEM MISDIRECTING MY MONEY AS PAYMENT FOR PROCEDURES I DID NOT ASK FOR!!!!

I have been FAITHFULLY making payments (automatic withdrawal from bank account) of $per week- this equals out to be between $100-per month in payments I have an email FROM Aurora billing that it was okay that I was making these payments I receive in the mail a collection notice for past bills that I have been paying on (per our agreement) I hadn't received any other notification for these dates or any correspondence that these bills would be going to collections Per our agreement via email, by cashing the checks, we had entered a payment agreement

On 7/19/2015, I received a bill for services that were provided to my wife on 2/18/in the amount of $This bill only contained a payment for services that were provided on 2/18/for visit # ***A payment request was submitted through my HSA with Fidelity on 8/04/in the amount of $253.67, and the payment was confirmed for the account with Aurora Health CareOn 12/04/2015, I contacted Aurora Health Care in regards to a collection letter that I received from Professional Placement Services in the amount of $While speaking with Lindsey, she shared with me that there were transactions that were submitted to collection agenciesOne was for $from 4/12/and the other was for $from 2/18/I shared my confusion as to why the collection amount was not included in those amounts and Lindsey shared that these were the amounts and transactions that were identified on my accountI began searching through my records to determine that status o

Was on a payment plan with Aurora, and had been making the agreed upon payments monthly After making my payment for October, I began receiving collection notices from various agencies, as every one of my accounts had been turned over to collection with no notification that it was going (which they will do if you are not on a payment plan) I was told that they would refer this to the Bad Debt Department to have these called back, as they don't know why they were sent over, but that it could take upwards of days to have an investigation done Meanwhile my credit is being ruinedI was told that even if I had missed just ONE payment, they'd send it to collections, with no notice, which I think is completely wrong...people are human and mistakes happenI do not see by my records that I have missed something, but if I did, I certainly would have appreciated the opportunity to make good on it by alerting me of the situation This is also not the first time this has happened, I had
