PNC is has requested marketing data/lists from credit
reporting companies using PNC prescreened “marketing criteria” as a basis for that
marketing data/lists. PNC then uses that prescreened marketing data,
which contains consumer names, addresses, and other data, to compile marketing
offers and send PNC those marketing offers to the names and addresses on the very
list that PNC requested from the credit reporting agency in the first place When a consumer contacts PNC, objects to
receiving those offers, and requests to be removed from PNC’s marketing list; THEN
PNC IS OBLIGAGED TO COMPLY AND REMOVE THE CONSUMER FROM PNC’s MARKETING LIST
