Review: I purchased a 3.4 oz bottle of Acqua di Gioia perfume for women on Aug. *, 2014; I received the order on Aug. **. Although it came in the correct box and bottle packaging, it was not the correct spray product inside the bottle (it did not smell remotely like Giorgio Armani's Acqua di Gioia perfume and the liquid was a greenish tint). Additionally, the perfume bottle spray mechanism on the top of the bottle did not have the official Giorgio Armani seal.

I emailed customer service on Aug. ** explaining my problem and asked them to either send me a shipping return label or refund me the entire $57.99 that I paid for the fake product. Hott Perfume (email not signed) said:

"If you are not happy with your purchase it can be returned for a refund to .. [redacted] / [redacted] Please include the order number and reason for return."

I then requested a pre-paid shipping label since I refused to spend any more money returning a fake product. I also mentioned in my reply email that I had read numerous poor reviews about the company on the Revdex.com's website, but that I decided to contact Hott Perfume before taking action with the Revdex.com.

Hott Perfume sent me a pre-paid return label on Aug. [redacted]. I shipped the product back to the company on Monday, Aug. [redacted] (along with my order number and reason for return). The tracking number said that the package was delivered on Aug. **, so I contacted Hott Perfume on Aug. ** to ask if they had received it. They said that my order had been refunded. There were no transactions pending in my bank account so I emailed them again on Aug. ** asking which card they had refunded the money to. I did not receive a reply from the company.

The next day, the refund was pending in my account. However, the refund was for $49.00, not for the full $57.99 that I had requested. That day, I emailed Hott Perfume asking why the refund was $8.99 short, when I had requested a full refund. I told them to let me know if they had a problem with my request, and we could handle the situation through the Revdex.com.

It has been one week and I still have not received any response from Hott Perfume. I decided to file a complaint with the Revdex.com. Hott Perfume should be shut down for selling people fake products. They're only sending customers partial refunds -- essentially making money off of fake sales -- and would not have sent me a pre-paid shipping label if I had not submitted a second request for one.Desired Settlement: Refund the full $57.99 that I paid for the fake product.

Review: I ordered Giorgio Armani Attitude Cologne (2.5-oz) from this company from their website (order# [redacted]). I paid $69.99 plus shipping and handling. When the item arrived, I discovered that it was not a genuine Giorgio Armani product and immediately contacted the seller. They agreed to honor their money back guarantee if I would send the item back. I sent the item back the next day in the original packaging and informed the seller of the tracking number ([redacted]). The seller refunded my credit card account in the amount of $69.00, instead of the full amount of $69.99. I contacted the seller again requesting the remainder of the refund due, with no reply. I know it's not a lot of money, but it's the principal. I have all the email correspondence between the seller and I, and can forward them if requested.Desired Settlement: I would simply like the seller to honor their money back guarantee, and refund my credit card account the remainder of the money I am due; $0.99.

However, in the email correspondence with the seller (attached), please note that on ** July I informed them of the error, before I contacted the Revdex.com. I informed them that: (1)I paid $69.99 for the item; (2) That they only refunded my account $69.00; (3) That I want the remainder of the refund I am due ($0.99). The seller never responded. That is why I contacted the Revdex.com. The seller is playing games.

Review: I ordered Dior Addict 2 from this company and although the packaging looked authentic, once I sprayed some on I could tell that the scent was way off. It has a powdery scent that is off putting and obviously counterfeit. I have been using Dior Addict 2 for several years so I know what it is supposed to smell like and this is NOT right.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund to the credit card used to purchase this fake Dior product. I will return the product to them when they supply a pre paid shipping label and refund me in full.

The email received says, "If you are not happy with your purchase it can be returned for a refund". However, with this company's track record seen on here and various other sites I will not believe a refund is necessarily forthcoming. Btw, It is not that I am not happy with a product that is genuine...but the fact that I have been scammed into purchasing a fake product, that is at the heart of the issue.

I will return the product but I am not closing this complaint until I am refunded the entire amount I paid. It is truly shameful that there are scammers out there that are still trying to portray themselves as legitimate businesses.

Review: The perfume I purchased is a fake. I purchased "Tresor" by Lancôme and it came in the same packaging, but it looked and smelled completely different. I contacted Lancôme and asked them if HottPerfume is a distributor for their products and was told, "NO they are not a distributor".Desired Settlement: Refund the $54.99 I spent.

Review: I purchased 2 bottles of Romance for women perfume online on Dec. **, 2013 from HOTTPERFUME. When I received the items, the product looks to be a fake. The font and color of the box was wrong. It also does not say that it is made by Ralph Lauren. I've purchased this product from department stores before and this product does not look the same. I emailed customer service about returning the product. I did not mention that I thought the product was a fake to be nice. I received a short email back with an address for returns. However, I feel that I should not have to pay the 20% restocking fee for a return item if the product I ordered is fake. I tried to call the customer service number several times but the number is just a recording. I tried to email customer service again, but got no response back. I've contacted my credit card company to start an investigation and to not pay this vendor. I have not opened the products and will be returning the items to the vendor. Also, on my statement this purchase order was listed as purchased on a "cruise ship shop". This was not the case. I did not get this on board a ship but online. I don't know if this is another way for the vendor to misrepresent themselves or cheat their customers.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $91.98 for the two bottles I purchase. I don't feel I should be paying a 20% restocking fee for items which I feel to be an imitation or a fake. I purchased the product believing that what I was purchasing was an original product. If I was returning an item which I wanted a different color or size, I would pay the restocking fee if the item was genuine or original. However, the product is clearly a knockoff. Other customers have complain about this vendor for the same reason. Thank you for your help.

My complaint with this vendor has centered around the fact that the vendor mis-represented themselves and their products to the public. The customer service number was non-existent. I couldn't even leave a message when I called!

Also, I should not have to contact the Revdex.com, the attorney general's office, and my credit card in order to reach some kind of resolution. Especially since I returned the product un-open months ago.

Yes, I have received my money back from my credit card and this matter is resolved. However, I am not satisfied with this vendor or their level of customer service and will be letting everyone else know about it.

Review: I placed an order on July [redacted]2014 for a perfume called Quelques Fleur Royale. I had not received the item, or had heard from the company as of today. August *, 2014. I called the number listed on their web page. I received a recording stating they only reply to emails. So, I emailed them I received a return email stating that they had sent me a message that they didn't have then item, And, also, they credited my account. Both were lies. Review: My order was originally placed on Dec [redacted] thru the hottperfume website. I then got an e-mail from [redacted] on Dec [redacted] using stamps.com with the USPS confirming my shipment. The online shipment states that it was sent Priority mail and delivered on Dec [redacted]. I was at my apartment the entire day on Dec [redacted] and when I noticed it was tagged as delivered I went outside checked with all of my neighbors and landlord. The package had not been delivered. The post office said to give it a few days with the holiday rush. It has not been delivered to this day. I tried following up with USPS myself, but they informed me it was the responsibility of the sender to follow up. I have tried to contact the sender multiple time via e-mail without response. I have also tried with their listed phone number but there is no response and there is not the ability to leave a message. I am at a loss of what to do, but feel they need to be held accountable for their lack of customer service.Desired Settlement: At this point I think they need to refund the money.

Review: This company false advertises on their website. I ordered a bottle of I'dole perfume and paid $ 70.00 for it. When it arrived, it was missing about 1/4 of the cologne. In addition, I got a magnifying glass and looked on the bottom and it was Ed U Toilette which is watered down cologne and not what I ordered!!! I tried to call them and the number has a pre recorded message to email the website which I have done numerous times without any contact back.Desired Settlement: I demanded they send me a shipping label for me to ship the used bottle back and give me a credit. Review: On March **, 2014 I paid Hottperfume $50.98 online for a 4.2 oz spray bottle of what was supposed to be Ralph Lauren Polo Black mens' fragrance. I was attracted to the company's online ad in the first place because the price represented a substantial saving over the normal retail value of about $74. I received the package on March **, 2014. Upon opening the package I was immediately suspicious because there was no receipt or any real contact information beyond a street address in [redacted]hat was on the outside of the U.S. mail package. When I removed the bottle from the authentic-looking product package I sensed immediately that this did not appear to be a genuine Polo product. The bottle had scuff marks on it, as if it were used. Also the Polo logo on the bottle appeared to have been imprinted on the bottle and was not an integral part of the glass as was the logo on an existing bottle of genuine Black Polo that I had almost finished. When I tried to apply some of the fragrance, the sprayer simply didn't work. The liquid was squirting out around the sprayer and trickling down the bottle. Also the scent bore no resemblence, in my opinion, to Polo Black, which I have been using for years. I have tried unsuccessfully to contact Hottperfume by calling a number that nobody ever answers. I will continue to try to reach them and I am perfectly willing to return the product if I can be assured that I will receive a refund. I will gladly supply you with any additional information that you might need.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive the desired settlement and to have the Revdex.com do what it can to stop this kind of activity online and through the U.S. mail.

Their complaint that I didn't respond to them is exactly the scam they are pulling by deliberately putting up obstacles so that defrauded customers will simply give up and accept the loss. I have the fake product already wrapped in the box in which it came and would be quite willing to return it if I could be assured of a refund. This company consistently refuses to simply send their email to me. They have my email, why won't they provide me with theirs? I'll answer that for them. They don't want to resolve this. They are hoping, as apparently so many have, that I will simply give up and let them get away with this scam. I have already explained that they have deliberately hidden their email from their voicemail, their receipts (actually there was no receipt with the mailed "product") and their website. I still have the package they sent complete with contents. I would be more than happy to return it to them at their mailing address if they would simply respond and agree to reimburse me for the amount paid. Review: I ordered a bottle of Poeme perfume by [redacted] from the Hottperfume.com site. It represented it was the real thing, and was just a few dollars less than where I usually order it, so I gave them a try. The perfume came, and when I tried it, it did NOT smell like the Poeme I have used for years. I checked out the bottle carefully, and there was a small difference in the lettering, barely noticeable. Then I noticed on my old bottles there was a small label on the bottom, there was no label on the bottle from Hott. I tried some again, and there was no denying it was not the real deal. It had barely any scent, and my husband agreed that I had been taken. At that point I Googled Hott Perfume and found many complaints and warnings about this product. It has been complained about to the Revdex.com many times. Wish I had checked BEFORE purchase. The phone no. is joke, it is automated and leads you back to the web site if you have an "inquiry". I ended up sending Hott an e mail with what I though of them. They send one back simply saying if I was unhappy with the product to send it back and they would give me a refund. I didn't think the would, but I tried any way and shipped the perfume back to them. That has been over two weeks ago, and I have never heard back. I have tried e mailing them, but they just ignore me.Desired Settlement: I paid almost sixty dollars for this bogus product, not to mention shipping of around six dollars twice, once to receive, and once to send back. I would like to have at least the initial cost to me refunded to my credit card. Even more important, I would like this company to be stopped from continuing ripping people off. Review: I purchased the perfume, [redacted] by [redacted] from hottperfume.com. When I received the product it was a complete fraud and a bad reproduction of the perfume. The bottle was similar, but noticeably different. The quality of the label and everything about the product was unsatisfactory compared to the actually product I thought I purchased. The smell of the perfume is off. I have been wearing this perfume for 10 years and I am allergic to most smells, and this one that hottperfume.com sent me, makes me sneeze so I know it is a fake. I have pictures to show the clear difference in the bottle and all it's marking so show it is a fake/ripoff of the actual [redacted] perfume.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded for this product. Review: I ordered Safari cologne for men from Hott Perfume in July of 2014 and received it a few days later. When it arrived I opened it and tried it and it wasn't the same fragrance that I have been purchasing for the last 15 to 20 yrs. I tried on numerous attempts to contact the company via email and phone with no response. Contacting our credit card company and filing a dispute they were able after many attempts themselves to reach them and secure an address for return and credit. Review: I placed an order in Dec 2014 for Lancome Hypnosee perfume, 2.5 ounce spray. This was a gift to be delivered to my mother. When she received, there was only 1/3 of the perfume left in the bottle. The remainder had spilt into the box. So much so, that the box was falling apart. I emailed the company, and was told that a replacement would be sent, which was indeed sent. The 2nd item was received. Again, the top on the perfume bottle was not secured and only 1/4 of the contents were left in the bottle. I have emailed them numerous times about this and have never received a response.Desired Settlement: Refund so that we can purchase product elsewhere
