Again, the Dealership in which I leased from and returned the car to, is saying "*** *** ***", Hyundai Finance says "*** *** ** *** ** *** *** ***The consumer is frustrated,and upset The finance company did not say, "*** *** *** **" it was the dealership The dealership has in the past taken care of these issues What I want is for the dealership to step in, talk to their contacts in Finance, settle it and retain me as a customer

To whom it may concern,*** *** has performed or at the least had his car diagnosed for service work here at Hyundai LIC. *** *** provided us with his name, address and phone number negating the DNC rule. We are always looking out for our clients whether they perform services here or
not by communicating promotions, discounts or manufacturer campaigns/recalls. *** *** can opt out on line to assure his removal from our contact lists. We will at that time be unable to communicate any safety issues or related concerns with him until a visit to the dealership. Respectfully, John C***

Hyundai LIC insisted that I provide them with my phone number so they could contact me when service to my auto was completed that day.I hesitantly provided Hyundai LIC with my phone number “under the condition” that they NEVER call me “other than the day of service for ANY reason”I repeated this to the clerk saying to her, “No sales call, no promotions, no contact, EVER” and then asked if she understoodShe laughed and said, “yes, I understand… I assure you that you won’t receive any calls”Once service to my auto was completed that day, I instructed the office manager to “delete my number and contact information from their files before I left to ensure no contact”month later I received a sales callI advised the sales person AGAIN, “delete my number from the filesNo more calls, EVER.” The sales person called back the same day berating me and saying, “you don’t understand, we want to give you cash for your car.” Again, I pointedly advised him “that neither he or anyone else from Hyundai LIC are ever to call again.” and hung up on himI received several calls the next day before finally calling a manager to complain of harassment and advised that I would never do business of any kind with them ever againI also again requested the removal of any and all of my contact information while also repeating my request to not be contactedThe manager assured me that she would remove my contact information and that I would not be contacted again. months later, the calls started again. MrC***’s attempt to disguise Hyundai LIC’s bullying sales tactics as concern for his clients is clearly a misrepresentation of the factsIn fact, when there was a recall for my specific auto, it was the one time that Hyundai LIC “didn’t” call meI instead learned of the recall from a local mechanic, which I then verified through the NHTSA website (not Hyundai LIC). MrC*** and Hyundai LIC’s concern about safety issues is notably listed at the “bottom” of his response, which shows where he and Hyundai LIC’s priorities really are“Never” has anyone at Hyundai LIC mentioned that I needed to “opt out” on their website to stop communications during the numerous times I’ve requested my contact information removedI was just repeatedly promised that they would do so. Also, the DNC rule is “NOT negated” as I requested that my contact information be removed before I even left Hyundai LIC on the original day of service in addition to the numerous times afterIn fact, I believe it is a further breach of the law to continue contacting someone after they have requested removal of their contact information or advised against communicationHyundai LIC has repeatedly and blatantly breached this lawMrC***’s response is not satisfactory and perhaps he should investigate why his employees have taken the actions they have.
