Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The [redacted] store Customer Service had determined that there was a receipt printer error which had cut off the initial part of the receipt What was missing was the store logo and store information They were the ones that taped that part onto the part of the receipt I was given at the register I had them print out a journal report from their computer in back which helped to verify that all of the purchased items were on the receipt I can provide that journal report if Ibotta would like it for verification of that receiptI never attempted to fraudulently submit this or any rebate submission Please advise if this is acceptable.As for previous rebate submissions that they had PROCESSED PRIOR to the receipt above (that had forced the deactivation) and DID include the correct and required purchases, Ibotta overreached and reversed those credits totaling over $ I had earned those rebates from items I did purchase and can prove that they are accurate I have a hard time believing that they had the proper standing to go back and reverse rebates that were previously APPROVED I request that I be able to speak with a Ibotta customer service representative to work out those details because it is nearly impossible to do so clearly and effectively via email I can be reached at ###-###-#### after PM Eastern Time on weekdays or anytime on weekends.Again, I have never attempted to fraudulently submit any rebate submissions and find that the process Ibotta has makes it difficult to defend from a customer standpoint where they take action presuming guilt without any easy way for the customer to respond or defend themselves effectively Recommend temporary suspensions with amounts/transactions in question held in "escrow", so to speak, until a more customer friendly appeal process is able to take place This will foster a better relationship and loyalty between company and customer Sincerely, [redacted]

Hello, Thank you for the reply regarding your complaintUnfortunately, we are firm in our decision to maintain deactivation on the user's accountOn many different occasions the user is omitting information from the receipt in an attempt to appear as the original purchaser of the receiptHowever, information found on the receipts does not match any information posted by the userTherefore, we believe that these purchases were not actually made by this user, but were made by other people who are completely unaware that this user is submitted their receiptsAgain, we are firm in our decision to maintain deactivation and appreciate the user's cooperationThank you

Hello, Thank you for the concern regarding your [redacted] gift cardWe contacted the gift card provider and were notified that the gift card was redeemed on 11/22/in Wichita, KS.The gift card was used in full resulting in a zero balance on the gift cardWe reviewed the user's account and were also able to find the receipt that the user used the gift card onIt is a [redacted] purchase on 11/22/and the user submitted the receipt for an Any Item offer on the same dayWe can see on the receipt the payment information of the gift card that the user used on her purchaseIn order to view past receipts, please tap the Activity Bell on the Home Screen, tap the receipt from [redacted] , and tap the question mark (?) in the top left to view an image of the receiptWe hope that this clears up the questions for the user but are available for further inquiriesThank you and have a great day

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I am rejecting this response because: There was no mention of fraudulent activity on my account until I attempted to withdraw my fundsRemember that this all started when they stated I had created accounts when they mistook my account and my brother's account as being the same personOnce they found out they were mistaken, they sought out a new reason not to issue my fundsMy shopping behavior was no different than the previous times I made withdraws from my Ibotta account with the only exception that this time my account had a larger amount to withdrawI live and work in a business district and frequently shop before work, during my lunch hour, after work, and various times during my days offSince I started my Ibbota account I have redeemed offers at over different businessesIt seems that I would have been allowed to keep accruing funds as much as I wanted and Ibotta would not have had a problem with that but in the end they had no intention of paying me because they had no interest in locking or deactivating my account until I asked to withdraw my fundsIn the meantime they will keep the funds I earned and I'm sure they will not reimburse the manufacturers of these earned funds that they are denying meAs I stated before, being a manager that works at one of the location that is listed on the Ibotta I ask they carefully reconsider their actionsI will have no problem forwarding this list of communications to the manufacturers that use Ibotta and ask that they please consider switching to the [redacted] that provides much more honest customer service Sincerely, [redacted] ***
