I was using Indigo parking for my apartment, I used the Secured above ground parking for a couple month until my car and a few other cars had their window smashed out and raided. I called and made a complaint to Indigo and they offered me below ground, gated, secured parking. they failed to mention that the gate has been broken and left un repaired for the two months I used the "Secured" lot. in those two months my car was broken into twice, one with another window being smashed out. I went straight into the office to cancel my agreement with Indigo and the lady at the front desk assured me that I will be compensated in reduced charged for the two months the gate was not operational. they continued to charge me and tag on interest and late fees that is sitting with collections now. I have been trying to contact Indigo and was refused a manager contact and that its "Indisputable". I called the collection agency *** and the agent told me "Sue us". I am willing to pay what I used for un secured parking in the time that was agreed, not 780$ worth of interest and penalties because they did not want to resolve this issue but ignore me and give me the run around.

Good afternoon,

I have reviewed the parking account related to this individual. All of Indigo's parking sites have private property signs that state that parkers park at their own risk and also that Indigo is not liable for any damage which may occur. This is also recorded in the agreement that the parker signs when they sign up for monthly parking. The parker is fully aware of this. We had made many attempts to reach out to this individual in regards to the outstanding balance on their account with no avail. After many exhausted attempts we finally had to submit the amount to a third party collection agency for payment. At no time was a reduce cost agreed upon.

I am so disappointed that Indigo Parking is not offering any type of relief or leeway in their 30 day cancellation policy, due to this global pandemic. As of Monday, I was ordered to work from home due to the government request of social distancing to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
Many businesses are doing the right moral thing in this situation and Indigo is not one of them.
This is not a "business as usual" situation. It's not every day that you are asked to "flatten the curve" and work from home (if you are lucky enough to still have a job).

Parked in the parking lot at my brothers place I literally had just got out of the car at 8:58 and at 9pm got a ticket for not registering the plate yet I had not even got into the building to register my plate , my brothers buzzer was not even working so we had to wait 5 minutes in between the doors until he came down and opened the door so there clearly could have not been enough time to register my vehicle

On Dec 6th 2019 is used your parking lot and found that your machine was out of order and couldn't make payment. I have a picture to prove this. That being said I ended up getting a $220 parking violation, How can you charge me for parking violations in your lot if the mechanism for payment is broken??? I've sent and Email and left 2 voicemails explaining my situation and have received one call back or reply. NOW if I don't pay this will go to collections and will affecting my credit..

This is unacceptable behavior for a Company to conduct business and from my current experience there no customer service... If there is to many calls coming into your call center maybe you should adjust the amount of agents logged in on your peak times?!?!?

I parked at 7:40am in the Indigo lot located at *** on Tuesday Feb 11. The lot was covered in snow since Indigo never clears their lots. No parking lines were visible. As I left work, a parking notice was left on my car at 3:40pm. The snow had begun clearing due to warmer weather in the afternoon. I'm not sure why Indigo would send a patroller to give tickets claiming that I've taken up 2 stalls when no one could clearly see parking lines in the morning. This appears to be a deliberate attempt to gouge customers. I took photos of other vehicles taking up as many as 4 stalls, and some were not given tickets. This is a dishonest business practice. I disputed this notice at Indigo's downtown office. They gave every excuse to justify this notice and did not justify why some cars were ticketed and others were not. They also did not take responsibility for their parking lot being covered in snow, however, they still expect customers to determine where parking lines are.

This notice has been thoroughly discussed with the parker. The pictures that Indigo has clearly identify that the parker has parked across numerous parking stalls, making it difficult for anyone else to utilize the space around them. Pictures taken earlier that day were also reviewed and the ground and parking lines are clearly visible in all of them.
With that being said, we will cancel this notice as a one-time courtesy, please ensure that all rules and guidelines of the lot are followed and to take better care when parking on private property.

I am rejecting this response because the business states that the parking lot lines were visible when I parked, which is false. They also state that they will cancel the request "as a one time courtesy" but do not state that they will refund $70. I would like clarity that they will refund the $70 since they are cancelling the request.

parking notice #xxxxxwas given to my wife for failing to register her vehicle in a free 2 hour parking zone. the self register kiosk at the time was out of order (16:45 of the day in question, ticket was issued at 17:10) and there is no signage for customers to phone in and report broken kiosk or register via another kiosk in parkade. When I've phoned into the company and got an agent, the only thing stated to me from the agent is that there is signage for building customers to register at another kiosk in the event the main kiosk was out of order. I have since gone back to the site 5 days after the notice and documented in photos that no such signage exists and that the parking notice was given in error. Site documentation also includes photos of the "standby" kiosk and the lack of signage at the paid parkade kiosk indicating this is a backup for the main self register kiosk. I will be willing to share with the company my photos of the site and lack of proper signage. Subsequent messages left on the companies voicemail have been left unanswered.

I have attempted to leave an email for a manager to get back to me in regards to resolving this dispute but it has been over a week unanswered. I was able to finally get a hold of an agent today and they stated that they will not provide me with the dispute resolution process and that they are unable to have a manager call me as it is company policy for managers not to call customers with issues in dispute but to use the website.

Unfortunately my attempt to contact them through the website has also been left unanswered for over a week and the agent has also stated that there is no timeline for any correspondence through the website.

I have reviewed this situation - we had no reports of our Kiosk being inoperable during the time-frame which is mentioned. There were a number of successful transactions during the mentioned time-frame. In the event that you are not able to successfully register we ask that our company be contacted immediately so that the situation can be rectified.

As a one-time courtesy Indigo will void this parking notice but there will be no future voids done for tickets issued for this reason.

I was issued a parking ticket in an Indigo lot on Tuesday, February 4. The ticket was issued at 2:10pm and indicates that my car had been in the lot since 11:45. This is not accurate. I arrived to the lot at 1:00pm for a meeting.

I have provide documented proof to Indigo that I was not parked in the lot at 11:45. The records include time stamps of where I was from 11:43-12:37, after which I drove to the lot for my 1:00pm meeting.

Despite this, Indigo has refused to cancel the ticket. In addition, the referred me to online pictures showing that my car was parked there at 11:45 and no such pictures exist on their website. The only pictures are those taken at the time the ticket was issued (2:10pm). At that time I had only been parked for 1 hour and 10 minutes in a 2 hour zone.

I am asking only that this ticket be canceled because it was issued in error.

I would give 0 stars if I could. If you can avoid supporting this company, please do. Unfortunately they seem to have a monopoly on parking lots in Calgary. Their parking rates are OUTRAGEOUS, substantially higher than any other lot. They are evil scammers and clearly have a ton of money to send their lot monitors out all day long to write tickets. Half their machines don't work and their app doesn't work either, so buying a ticket is usually a challenge and if you are wrongly ticketed, good luck fighting that. Their tickets are almost double that of a city ticket ($70!!)The staff and customer service are far from friendly or helpful and they just don't care. How is this company still in business??

On December 10, 2019 I used the Indigo app to pay for parking at Lot ***. I ended up using the "location" option and the wrong lot #*** was selected and a payment of $12.00 was debited from my account. I then realized the mistake I had made and tried to request a refund through the app and was unsuccessful. I decided it was better to pay for the correct lot in the amount of $20.00 and try to submit a refund request through their website when I got to my desk. After numerous unsuccessful attempts to submit a request from their website (the submit button does not work) I had attempted to call them on the number provided on the website. I tried to get through 7 times, 4 at which I gave up waiting on hold and the other 3 I was asked to leave a message and I would be called back. The last message I left was on December 23, 2019 and I have not heard anything from Indigo.

Beware the Indigo app defaults. I have rarely used the app but do have 2 license plates registered so Indigo knows about both vehicles. Using the app the other day, I did not notice that the app had defaulted to the other vehicle so even though I paid through the app I still received a parking ticket. Very deceptive business practice and even after providing proof to Indigo they still would not rescind the ticket. Very poor customer service, would avoid if at all possible.

I have frequently used Indigo's parking lot without issues over the last 5 years. Recently they issued me a parking notice despite me having paid for parking. I've called their phone line over 30 times to clear it up. Twice someone picked up, told me it's outside of office hours, then promptly hung up on me. I've also submitted my documents via the online form and left two detailed voicemails. So far the company has done nothing to fix their mistake.

I parked in lot ***, downtown, got my parking receipt trans: ***, install it in may car dash bord, went to *** bough a cofee, after few minutes went back to my car to see a parking notice, (number ***) saying that my receipt wasn't in the dash, I understand that my car is not perfect clean, some snow was over the window, but I have a photo of my receipt over the dash

Can you please provide me with your picture of your vehicles front dashboard with your receipt displayed. Below is the picture we took of your vehicle at the time the violation notice was issued. Your vehicle appears unobstructed and no parking receipt appears to be displayed.

I would like to give one star but apparently that is not an option. I parked in an indigo lot and registered my licence plate at the restaurant I was having lunch in which allowed me to park free in the lot. After lunch, I had a ticket as I had inadvertently parked in the only "reserved" stall in the entire lot. The "reserved" signage was poor and as I had backed into the stall I totally missed it. There were numerous open stalls to park in so this was obviously an oversight. Accordingly, I called to discuss with Indigo on the assumption that common sense would prevail and we would reach a compromise (hopefully no ticket). I left two lengthy messages and hung up on two other occasions when I got no answer. They have not had the common courtesy, or basic good business practice, to call me back for about a week. I will pay the ticket, and hope that their bad faith will come back to bite them.

I like to give actually 0 star to the company and I just want to know how they could run there business like that in Canada.
I just received a $85 electronic ticket by mail for just stoping for 5 seconds behind 10 other cars. I have a disability permit and want to take this matter to courts. Basically no option for courts and no one Returning my calls or emails and now they raised my ticket for $107 even no one got back to me.

On Nov 8th I received notice of parking offence from April 2nd, when I thought everything was taken care of, with no idea anything was outstanding.
On April 2nd, 2019 I parked at Indigo location ***, Calgary. I paid for a ticket, but addmittedly made a mistake and entered the wrong car number. When I came back to renew for an extended period I found an infringement ticket. On realising the mistake I phoned Indigo and explained the situation, and at that time I understood everything was taken care of. I had paid 28$ for the extended parking. I believed this was the end of the matter. November 8th today, I received a notice telling me that I owe 110$ which of course I was amazed to receive. I called Indigo and they told me that I was supposed to pay a 25$ fine at that time, but I had no idea this was due. On speaking with indigo they tell me they can reduce the late fee from 110$ to $85... this is just ***, resulting from an innocent mistake, and not because I tried to get out of paying parking fees.

Hello ***, Our system is showing you had spoke to an agent directly by phone on April 2nd when the notice had been issued. At that time the agent had reduced the notice as a first-time courtesy and extended payment for 10 days. We do not cancel notices if the license plate number had been incorrect and would have provided confirmation if so. Unfortunately fees apply if notices are not paid and will continue to increase to a maximum of $110.00 as it explains on the reverse of the notice. We have again reduced the notice to $85.00 but are unable to assist further. Thank you

Their app. failed to work properly several times; their info. they give to my credit card company shows a ***; nobody calls me back.
On several occasions the app that they promote customers to use has failed to function properly. On several occasions I called their office to advise them that using their app has been problematic. The customer service representative told me twice that somebody was going to call me back regarding problems with the app. Nobody has called me back. More recently the transactions That appear for this company on my credit card does show in their name, but it also shows the name and address of a *** in Calgary. I have called twice about this and was told that a manager would call me back, but nobody has ever called me back. The customer service representative on this issue is very dismissive and does not listen because she constantly cuts me off. I am concerned that my information is being shared with another party but this company Indigo has done nothing to alleviate this concern, not even the courtesy to call me back.

When I sent an email with a screenshot of the transaction - which clearly shows Indigo's name and the *** name on the transaction - I received a simple reply stating that it was not their transaction ID. This is ridiculous because it is clear that Indigo is on the transaction, and I do acknowledge that it is the correct purchase. However the ***'s information should not be showing up on that transaction. The bank advised me that this was the information that indigo provided to them. This was my only point, but the company cannot even call me back or even read the screenshot. This is how poor the customer service is.

Indigo parking are the most non customer focused company I have every dealt with. They do not care. My problem was I inadvertently switched around two letter's on my license plate. I provided proof I paid for two parking tickets, and told me they still "require" a penalty payment of $50 each ticket, I missed this email, they then sent them to collections, and I am a 3 year monthly parking customer at a different lot !!! The lady's response was too bad for you, have a better day !! The attitude she had was unbelievable, and I did my utmost best to be friendly and respectful. No wonder they are not Revdex.com accredited. Now I have to deal with

I paid $28 for 2-hr parking with my credit card. A Transaction Record was printed by the machine and , at a glance, it looked that the credit card had been correctly charged. I went my way, came back in less than an hour to find a parking notice stuck under the wiper blade. It accused me of parking without paying. I took out the receipt and had a closer look. At the bottom, Transaction Not Completed was innocuously printed. When a transaction fails, one normally gets a warning on the screen or it is boldly printed on the Transaction Record. My credit card is absolutely good and has been used umpteen times before and after this transaction. Why did this transaction fail? Was something wrong with the equipment? Why there was not a loud and clear warning that there was some problem with payment? Why did the receipt not show any warning in bold letters? Anyway, I was slapped with a ticket for $65. When I called in to contest this, the lady was not willing to listen to me and condescendingly reduced the amount to $50. It is absolutely outrageous. May be all this is intentional. Anyway, as consumers, we have no remedy. Can not even boycott them as most of parking facilities in Calgary are run by this company.

On or around April 12th, 2019, the vehicle I drove was damaged by a parking controller and employee of Indigo while a bogus parking ticket was issued.

Hello, please be advised that I did not park at the location. The person driving the vehicle had used the washroom in the macs located in the lot to which the lot belongs to, and had purchased a sub (a receipt can be provided) and in order to purchase a sub at the subway located inside the macs had to leave the vehicle to purchase it. Your driver came as soon as the person left the vehicle and issued a ticket in what appeared to be a cash grab and an abuse of process, and in so doing, damaged the windshield wiper and cracked the windshield. Notwithstanding all of the above, please know that I am amenable, as a gesture of good faith, to withdraw this complaint and mutually release all other claims as against Indigo if you waive the ticket issued on that date under that licence number. Please kindly advise if you are amenable and we are in agreement? Thank you kindly.

Dear INDIGO,

Please kindly immediately remove the charges, otherwise, I shall have no other option but to lodge a lawsuit along with a consumer protection complaint to the appropriate alberta statutory body against indigo. Also, please know I will be making a provincial privacy legislation request under PIPA to receive a copy of any and all information you have with respect to this matter. Lastly, please provide me the name of the top management so that I may immediately escalate my concerns. Govern yourself accordingly.

Wrongful parking ticket despite paying for parking and having displayed on my dash
On May 14, 2018 I received a parking ticket despite paying for parking and having displayed on my dash. I submitted a dispute and was rejected initially and then was offered a "reduction" after I countered the dispute rejection (I seriously received a second ticket the next day even though I had paid via the parking app).
I sent numerous emails requesting to be contacted by the organization's supervisor/manager and never received a response back.
On March 8, 2019, I again paid for parking & left in my windshield. I went to the website to dispute again (and noticed they have now removed the dispute section from their website). I received a same response that they would only be able to reduce the amount because the attendant did not see the ticket. The next day I received an email that they would not be able to offer me a discount because they had discovered that I had still not paid for my originally disputed ticket which they now had increased to $110.00. They additionally informed me that I was being sent to collections
I discovered on the Revdex.com site numerous complaints very similar to the one I am lodging today. I am horrified that this business is still in operation! Honest individuals are paying for parking and yet are being ticketed and sent to collections even after showing proof of payment. This is so wrong and unjust!
