I spoke with [redacted] concerning a tax concern. I was not certain what should be done but was most concerned with becoming involved with something that was not going to benefit me. Review: My wife hired Instant Tax Solutions back in 2013 to help clear up my issues with the IRS. She set up 4 monthly payments to be billed to my account at $700.00 each for a total of $2800.00. Unbeknownst to me, there were emails sent to my wife that I was unaware of. But I, myself, have never worked with Instant Tax Solutions, nor do I recall myself sending them any information.

In 2015 I have worked with the IRS personally and have had my issues resolved. My wife received an email on 09/14/158 stating my account was on hold because they never received certain information they needed to help resolve my issues with the IRS. Instant Tax was notified by my bookkeeper in Sept. 2015 that I had handled my own issues with the IRS personally and did not need the services of Instant Tax. When I found out the amount of money paid to them for service I never received I called them on the phone to request a refund. They said they HAD worked with the IRS on my behalf, and there would be no refund. When I asked for proof, such as what IRS agent they worked with, and what transpired during their conversations or letters with the IRS, they said they did not have that information. I feel that they owe me a refund if they cannot, or will not, prove they worked with the IRS on my behalf and provided some service for the $2800.00 they received from me for their service.Desired Settlement: I would like a complete refund of the $2800.00 they charged me, or a partial refund provided they prove to me what IRS agent(s) they worked with and what transpired.

This clients complaint is completely unfounded and has only occurred because he is now divorced. The client had his wife (at the time) contact our firm and resolve his tax issue. She was easy to talk too and work with. The problem was, his situation was extremely complicated and she was having a very hard time gathering the necessary information needed to resolve the case. We had mentioned to her several times that we would need to put the case on hold or even cancel the case if she couldn't supply us with the necessary information. She just kept telling us that she would get it to us.

I am extremely pleased with Instant Tax Solutions. I had talked to them first, but went with another company. I had a definite problem dealing with the IRS and filing my taxes ... since I live abroad and there is no way I can just go to one of their offices left me with no other choice than to the IRS. Considering I live in the Middle East I had to dedicate (waste) 5 hours waiting and getting re directed and getting nothing resolved. I started sending emails to accountants and lawyers back in the states but I didn't get one response. I was so frustrated and the IRS put liens on my pay and started taking money out of my savings account. I was totally lost and extremely frustrated. To those that find them in a pinch with the IRS-
I was out of town and went online to transfer money from savings to checking only to find out that everything, everything had zero's where there should have been numbers. Panicked, I called my bank and they informed me that the IRS had taken all of my money. My bank gave me a number to call and a contact person. I immediately called and through some lengthy discussion, I hung up with the assurance from the agent that I would not be getting anything back.
In this moment of complete despair and wondering how I could even make it home, I realized that this (the IRS) was not something I could handle on my own. I concluded that this was one thing in my life that was completely beyond my abilities. I needed an expert, a professional who deals with these issues everyday.

I have used ITS for three issues in the past 2 years and have had such a positive experience with the staff. Two issues are resolved and the third is still pending. Fortunately, the outcomes so far has been the best I had hoped for. I want to stress that no promises were ever made about my outcome, and that also gave me confidence in this firm.
