Instant Tax Solutions helped us get on track with the IRS, as we were getting letters from them saying they were going to freeze our bank accounts etc..... Not knowing too much about this, they were very knowledgeable and explained everything and eased our minds. Everybody I was in contact with at ITS, were very friendly and helpful and willing to assist in any way. [redacted] is the person I worked with the most and he was very professional and always willing to explain things. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had been struggling negotiating alone for quite sometime with the IRS; feeling despair at times since my back taxes had just grown out of control with unaffordable payment plans I had set up, and interest and penalties. Though last year I found Instant Tax Solutions, LLC on this website. The results are amazing. I now have a manageable payment plan and about 7,000 to pay from the original amount.This is a fraction of what was owed. I used Instant Tax Solutions to assist me in resolving my IRS tax problem. [redacted] was my rep and did a fantastic job in obtaining a very satisfying resolution. The issue resolved, I received a phone saying they were the IRS and wanted me to wire $1,000.00. I called [redacted] and provided him with the information I had and he discovered it was a SCAM.

He did this for even though the issue had been resolved.

First off let it be known I did "not" contract with this company nor did I send them any money. The experience I had just getting through the consultation phase was enough to send me running and flag this company as a "high probability" of a scam. A lot of RED FLAGS developed and I will allow you to make your decisions based on the Red Flags with my experience. If I can help one person avoid being scammed its worth my time.

There are a lot of warnings out there about companies that claim to be tax resolution companies but end up ripping people off. This company has some complaints listed on the Internet that they take the money and never do anything they say. Other complaints are that it’s hard to contact anyone at this company once they have your money and when you do you are treated rudely. That is what occurred to me.

During the consultation with [redacted] he kept bringing up warnings I should look for with other companies, telling me I had to be very careful and check it out. To me this raised warning flags along with the hair on the back of my neck. I repeatedly asked [redacted] to STOP using this technique and ONLY speak to me about what his company can do for my situation. [redacted] would constantly revert to this same method (throwing a smoke screen) and I would have to ask him to stop. When someone is always telling me to be careful of their competitors I have to wonder what they are hiding themselves.

Although a bit skeptical I decided to use this company and get started on the paperwork to hire them.

[redacted] sent me the forms required to contract and other forms to allow them to contact the IRS HOWEVER in the middle of all this was a form for me to fill out my credit card information and to sign it giving them authorization to withdraw funds on my credit card. WOW!!!!!!!!! This was never discussed with me and who in their right mind is going to give credit card information and authorization to a stranger to use?????

I told [redacted] there would be no way I was giving my credit card information and I would send checks for the three payments as we agreed. I let him know that if he expected to do business with me he needed to develop the trust and accept my checks as payment. He started to make excuses of well it takes time for checks to clear etc etc etc. In the majority of cases checks clear in one or two days anymore, so this sounded hogwash to me.

I emails [redacted] telling him I would consider doing business with his company but they would not get my banking information that I would send checks for the payment plan we agreed upon. I also asked for his response on two scathing reviews discovered on the internet and that I was waiting on a response back from the Secretary of State on the legitimacy and or complaints about Instant Tax Solutions.

At this point they declined to work with me.

As you can see from experience there are a lot of Red Flags and although they loved telling me to check out the legitimacy of other companies that offered the same services they do, they ran when I checked out their company.

I'm providing this complaint so that anyone considering the use of Instant Tax Solutions to proceed with caution and when too many Red Flags popup be very very careful.

Please DON’T GIVE YOUR BANK INFORMATION TO ANYONE----- along with [redacted]AUTHORIZATION[redacted] for them to make withdraws from it like this company requested

I had a tax issue, that was an unfortunate surprise to me. Meaning, I owed double what I thought I did. I researched many organizations and came to conclusion, ITS was the best fit for me, and I was right. They worked with me on wording of contract, which included price, payment schedule and work they would agree to complete. Every person I spoke to at ITS was not only available, but knowledgeable. They make themselves available and more importantly, fulfill their commitment to the client. I hope I don't need them again, but I would use them in a heart beat.

The personal at Instant Tax Solution went well above what I expected when I first contacted them. They took total control of my situation and worked with the IRS until a solution was found. During this time they also went out of their way to make sure I was doing OK. I had just lost my wife and they gave me the support I needed by taking all the pressure off me during that time. I can't say enough about Instant Tax Solutions. They are a great company to work with and they truly care about their customer relations.

I had an extremely complicated case. Instant Tax Solutions did an amazing job working through the details. Eric (my instant tax rep) was consistent in his "never give up" attitude and pressed forward with my case to a very good outcome. Review: This company does not accurately represent and follow through on their ability to help people with the services they advertise. My husband, and by extension I, owe a large sum of money to the IRS. We both spoke at length with a consultant from this company regarding their ability to lower our tax debt and reach a settlement with the IRS on our behalf. I was concerned about their ability to do this because we are self-employed. We were assured that this would not be an issue in their ability to negotiate on our behalf. I was concerned about the money they were charging for their services, almost $4000. I expressed that I would like a guarantee that they would save us at least that much via a settlement plan or payment plan with waived penalties/finance charges. I was assured that they would not take our case if they were not confident that we would save more than we were spending on their services. I was also directed to their 30 day money back guarantee, which is absolutely worthless in reality because no negotiations with the IRS can be conducted in less than 30 days, so there is no way to tell before that guarantee expires if your case will be successful or not. Not only did this company not reach a settlement for us, but the payment plan they put us on was virtually the same as the one we worked out with the IRS previously on our own for free. When we asked them to work out an offer in compromise instead, they asked us for an additional $1500, even though we've received nothing for the several thousand dollars we've already given them. I expect them to either give us a refund in full due to services not rendered as discussed OR work out a reasonable and acceptable to us offer in compromise on our behalf for no additional fees on top of what we've already paid them. I also feel it is inappropriate for them to advertise themselves as a Christian company in an effort to instill confidence in their potential clients of their business practices, when they do not practice their business ethically.Desired Settlement: Either they work out an offer in compromise with the IRS that is acceptable to us, for no additional fees on top of what we have already paid them, as they told us they could do when we hired and paid them. Or they give us a full refund for services not rendered.

This is a client from 2011 that has never complained to Instant Tax Solutions once about what we did for them. There has been no attempt from the client at any time to contact Instant Tax Solutions about being unhappy. Instant Tax Solutions was contracted to complete 2011 taxes, set up a new Installment Agreement as the client had defaulted on their previous Installment Agreement, and submit a Penalty Abatement request. Attached is the client agreement that was executed in November of 2011 and completed by May of 2012. The client mentions ITS not doing an Offer In Compromise, but nowhere on the signed client agreement was an Offer in Compromise contracted for. Instant Tax Solutions takes great pride in resolving any issue with a client, but there has never been an issue brought to our attention until now, 2 years after becoming a client.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9762008, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

We were told that we would be put on a payment plan that we could afford and that this company would pursue getting penalties and interest waived by the IRS. They did not do that. Our payments did include penalties and interest. When we could not afford the monthly payments my husband sought a better solution from the company. He asked if they could renegotiate a lower payment, or preferably a settlement. He initially contacted them via email (which I will paste below) and then followed up by phone. During the telephone conversation the company asked for more money, over an additional thousand dollars, to pursue a settlement we could afford. We had already given them several thousand dollars and received no services from them that met our needs. We did not get an affordable payment plan or settlement, and they did not reduce our liability by getting the penalties and interest waived, as they indicated they would.
