I would like to comment on the great service that "It's Just Lunch Milwaukee" has given me ! I decided to give them a try after being on online sites for awhile. I have been very satisfied with the customer service and the matches. Everyone that I have dealt with at IJL has been very professional and took the time to make sure that my matches where the type I was looking for and that everything went well with the date.
I have to say that all the dates I have been on were really great. I enjoy meeting new people. Everyone of them was truly very nice and kept an excellent appearance.
They have been able to provide more matches than I would have ever expected and I look forward to my future matches. I wish I could have dated this way when I was younger. It is a much better experience and well worth it !

I have been very pleased with the service that It's Just Lunch has provided to me. They spent a lot of time with me upfront discussing my interests and goals, and I feel all my matches have been aligned with the game plan we developed. I have met some truly wonderful and interesting women.
[redacted] has been absolutely terrific in keeping me informed, sending reminders, you name it. She is genuine, caring, and supportive. Really she's the main reason I feel so positive about IJL!

I am writing in response to the complaint made by [redacted].  Mr. [redacted] became an It’s Just Lunch (IJL) client and signed a contract on 10/26/2015 (attached.)  He purchased a 6-month membership, which included 6 months of active dating time.  When Mr. [redacted] became a...

client, he was told about his initial matches immediately.  Unfortunately, we aren’t able to control our client’s schedules, therefore, these matches were not available to schedule at times that fit with Mr. [redacted]’s schedule.  One of his matches was injured and in a cast, so the match was postponed; ultimately, she ended up placing her membership on hold. On 12/1, Mr. [redacted] met his first date and provided feedback that she was not what he was looking for, however, his date provided feedback that it was a good date and that they had been texting each other since the date.  Mr. [redacted] went on his next dates on 4/6, 2/5, 3/1 and 3/3.  All feedback that he provided was listened to, documented and used moving forward.  After several members of the team spoke with Mr. [redacted] regarding his feedback and what he wanted to focus on, I spoke with him personally on 3/4/16 and offered to extend his membership until September of 2016 (an additional 6 months of active time on top of the 6 that his contract provided for), in order to provide the opportunity for him to continue to meet more people.  He accepted this extension of his membership. Since that time, there have been some unfortunate circumstances as it relates to the calendar availability of the matches that we have attempted to coordinate.  Specifically, two of them were not available and one of them was relocating to New York.  These are all circumstances that are out of our control and we immediately moved forward to the next match option each time.  Mr. [redacted]’s last date was on 4/27.  His next date, which was scheduled for 5/27, needed to be rescheduled due to family schedule complications.  We do not provide refunds, which our contract clearly states.  We want each of our Clients to have success during their dating process; while we can’t guarantee chemistry, we do select matches based on what the Client indicates they are looking for during their interview process, which is what we did for Mr. [redacted]. (The class action lawsuit that Mr. [redacted] is referencing has nothing to do with the actions of the Washington, DC, franchise location.  No one on our team ‘asked him not to join it.’)

The dates so far have been wonderful. They clearly put time and effort into pairing you with whomever you're going to meet. Their technique for handling all arrangements and all I need to do is show up is perfect for my hectic and irregular schedule. They are very hands on (nigh daily calls), friendly and easy to talk to.

I have only just begun to work with IJL. So far it has been a fair experience. I have been set up with some interesting dates who (apart from one) met my expectations, which of course is the best result. Communication is generally good though there have been a number of recent snafus in arrangements (in one case a reservation was not made and in another the location was too inconvenient) and I think these could have been easily avoided. The team at IJL is very pleasant and friendly and seem committed to doing a great job. My only complaint is that I was initially interviewed by one person who said she would take me on as "her client" (and I felt very good about her) and I was then switched to someone else as soon as I paid. It felt like a classic "bait and switch" move and if this had been the intent from the beginning it could have been communicated in the first phone call. But overall I would say it has been a good experience to this point and I am looking forward to seeing how it plays out.

I am rejecting this response because: they only refunded $1,700 and kept $700. That is unfair.  I spent $100 on a babysitter when thye dont even have a call in nnumber if someone cant show.   I will let others know about the bad business practices of this company.

I did speak with [redacted] on the day in question that she mentioned.  However, I did not say I did not want to continue my membership.  I stated I wanted to meet professional men.  I also did not know that IJL did not conduct criminal background check, as elove said they did.  If criminal background checks are not done, I don't understand why the high cost of the membership.  Oneline dating is just a fraction of the cost and I can conduct my own background check locally.  I was told by elove, that a nation wide background check was conducted, and that's why I went with the agency. 
 
I did however ask [redacted] that since I drove so far to meet this member, and wasted my time, money and gas, that an additional date could be added out of consideration for my inconvenience.  I DID NOT say I wanted to end my membership.  It was not my understanding that my membership would expire in September, 2014.  I also stated I did not want to be matched with someone just for the sake of meeting because it has been months since I had a call.  I stated, if there was not a suitable match for me, someone could give me a courtesy call to say we are still working on finding someone.

I have been with IJL for about 2 months and have found this a great way, as a busy professional woman, to get back into dating. Because the dates are pre-screened and are scheduled for you; it erases many of the concerns a woman may have about the safety of dating. Kelly is very easy to work with, as have been all of the IJL staff. She responds to any concerns you may have and works to make the experience a positive one.

IJL is a great service and a great way to meet members of the opposite gender especially for those who are new to a geographic area. The date takes place at a great restaurant or bar. There is no pressure to go any further. Last names are not given by IJL - only by the individuals if they are interested in seeing each other again. Overall I would recommend them over a computer dating site as it is more personalized.

It's Just Lunch regrets to learn of any dissatisfaction the consumer has experienced with her membership thus far as that is not the norm with Ijl. The consumer joined March 13, 2016. Her membership provides 4 dates over the course of 6 months,...

whichever comes last. The following day March 14th she was contacted to welcome her aboard and start the process and followed up with again march 15th at which time she was welcomed and started working with her matchmaker. Her Initial Dating Coaching session was scheduled for March 17th at 12pm and her first match was presented the same day she was welcomed, March 15th. March 16th her first date was scheduled for March 28th with [redacted]. IJL attempted to contact the consumer at the scheduled time multiple times and the call was not answered. Her session was then rescheduled for March 21st.
Her date was also rescheduled from March 28th to March 29th on March 18th. The consumer did not attend her scheduled Dating Coaching session which based on her membership agreement signed when she initially joined IJL forfeits the session. If she would like to reschedule there is a fee surrounding a reschedule of this appointment. IJL has provided the services under the terms of the consumer's membership agreement. We are currently in the search and select process for her next match and will contact her once her next match is available. We look forward to working with the consumer and providing a positive dating experience. Thank you.

There are many incorrect statements made by It's Just Lunch. And a number of my statements were not responded to. I believe a full refund is due me with cancellation of contract effective immediately.
1. Mike was scheduled to call me on March 17 at noon and did not call as I stated in my original complaint. That was to be my first contact with him. I was also scheduled to have a coaching session with Sheri after the call with Mike. I did not receive a call from Sheri either.
2. I received a scheduled call from Heather on March 21 at 5:30pm via FaceTime at which time my photograph was taken and I showed my driver's license to the camera. After this call I received a request from Heather to fill out a feedback form regarding our call. It was filled out by me as all positive.
3. My date with Allan was originally scheduled for March 21, not March 28. I rescheduled for March 29. There were no unreturned calls from me to IJL. In fact, I initiated most calls and complained to Mike that he does not return calls.
4. I initiated a scheduled coach dating session for 9:15am with Sheri on March 29. I requested this coaching call from Mike. Sheri did follow through.
5. I have documented communication between me and IJL employees providing evidence that my statements are all correct. I will gladly forward them.
6. IJL has not responded to my complaints regarding my and Allan's incorrect profiles which they posted.
7. IJL did not respond to my request to Mike regarding whether or not Allan was Jewish.
8. IJL did not respond regarding my email to customer service. I received an email from customer service saying I would receive a phone call. I did not get a call.
9. I am amazed by the false statements and disregard related to some of my complaints. Short of actually accusing me of misrepresentation, IJL's lack of professionalism and integrity in response to my very clear complaints convinces me even further that this is a company to avoid. As I stated previously, I have correspondence I can forward validating my complaints. The best outcome will be cancellation of contract effective immediately and a full $2800 refund. I cannot put my trust in a company which operates in this manner.

Hello All Singles,
I have had a great experience with IJL, DC. I signed up with Sandra a year ago, I have had incredible, positive learning experiences.
I do not take part in on-line dating for numerous reasons...you never know what you are going to get!!! IJL will take care of you, they take care of the background check for you!
I have worked with Sandra, Kristin, Jaida, Nicole, and Shana, all are amazing people. Everyone is so professional...that is what I am looking for and I am so appreciate that they "have my back".
When they meet to discuss my portfolio, I know they are truly interested in who I am as well as the gentleman who might be a potential match.
I wish everyone a great experience with IJL, DC!!! Go for it, life is precious!

Caprice [redacted] was a pleasure to work with. She listened to what I wanted and always went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. She was easy to talk to and never made me feel uneasy. Her matches were pretty good, and I recommend working with her if you are interested!

IJL and their staff truly go the extra mile to ensure the best matches are made. They are very professional and conscientious to understand your feedback and continue refining your search for the perfect match.

I find that IJL provides a unique opportunity to meet different people and form connections. IJL has been such an awesome experience for me! I love that everything is set up and all I have to do is show up. No responding to emails, spending my nights looking at profiles, texting about where and when to meet or wondering if someone's going to show up.
IJL understands my nonnegotiables and helps find matches that have many of the qualities I am looking for. I feel as though they take my feedback seriously and find possible matches based off what I am looking for. They are easy to talk to and truly are there to help you!

My experience has been positive with Its Just Lunch. They have been professional with calling me and setting up dates. It's very easy to meet people as they do all the work in arranging the date

I am rejecting this response because: It has been over 15 months since I signed up. I only went on 1 date, and it was the WORST date of my life where I felt worried about my safety. I do not believe that IJL has the [redacted] guys to match me with. I have only received 1 match in the last 6 months, and he was not even within my parameters of being [redacted]. I will continue to ask for my money back as I believe they are lying in saying that they have [redacted] guys for me. It is a scam. I just want my money back. The contract said 6 months or 4 dates, it has been 15 months.
