We communicated Ms***’s complaint with the franchisee's office and were informed that
her claim had been submitted to the franchisee's insurance company for
handling. The franchisee's office is not required to notify Guest
Relations of the status or outcome of any submitted claim.
Unfortunately, there is no further action Guest Relations may take and at this
time, Jack in the Box considers this matter closed

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***I really would like to apologize for my current absenceI've been ill health wise but I am recoveringI wasn't able to answer any of their phone calls because I was in the hospitalHowever, in the letter it states that they had left voicemails but I didn't get any from Jack in the boxI know my phone is working because I received other voice mails the same time jack in the box was calling me After I got out of the hospital, I checked my phone and the only thing I got from jack in the box was missed calls and not voicemailsIf they need proof, I can contact my phone service provider to see If they can provide me a voicemail log for my cell phoneOtherwise, please let them know to contact me after 12:00pm pacific standard time

Unfortunately, as stated in my original complaint to the Revdex.com, the Corporate Offices of Jack n the Box Restaraunts had been notified of this complaint on two previous occasions concerning this location and responded personally to me via phone conversation that they would ensure this type of practice will be stoppedThey were to assure me via email or personal confirmation that this location and every other would receive a notice that this type of activity of "upselling" is prohibited by the CORPORATE OFFICEAgain today per their phone conversation it was the same conversation without assurance or proof that they had investigated nor took any measures at a Corporate level informing their locations in writing that this is prohibited
As stated, I have also filed a complaint with the California Attorney Generals Office for their opinion and assistance in this matter as I feel it is illigal and needs to be stopped by this chain and all others

The complainant, [redacted], initially reported the complaint to Guest Relations back on 04/26/16. Statements were taken, however guest was not satisfied with the handling of the complaint. Department...

Supervisor called [redacted] back on 04/28. Two attempts were made that day and both times voicemail message was left. We had yet to hear back from the complainant.
Dept. Supervisor called the guest once more 05/26 and left another voicemail message requesting call back. We hope to resolve the matter amicably with the guest.
