Complaint# [redacted] [redacted] *** On 8-5-the vehicle came in for service “Customer states there is a lot of shuttering feeling at all speeds”We scanned the vehicle for DTC’S (Diagnostic Trouble Codes), we found no DTC’s present or any software updates available for this vehicle at this timeVehicle was road tested for proper transmission operationWe re-learned the transmission (re-set parameters) and found the transmission was functioning properlyOur shop foreman road tested the vehicle numerous times and did find an intermittent #cylinder mis-fireOur technician replaced the #fuel injector to correct this issueThe vehicle was again road tested by the Shop Foreman, Service Director and the FCA (Chrysler Area Manager)The vehicle is operating as designed with no further issuesIf the customer is still seeking a “buy back” the customer would need to submit this directly to FCA/Chrysler by contacting them at [redacted] Bill Luke Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge-Ram does not “buyback vehicles”, that is handled thru FCASincerely Rick D [redacted] Service DirectorBill Luke Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram [redacted]

We apologize for the confusion, but we will not refund the money for the oil changeThe customer was quoted $for a $oil change, which is the price for a quart synthetic oil changeThen we further discounted that price to $80, which is employee priceLastly in the interest of goodwill, we discounted the price even further at $To summarize the customer paid $for a $oil change.We will however have our Finance Manager call the customer and review all coverages and warranty options again, and if the customer determines there is no value in the warranty – then we will refund the full price of the warranty ($3,017) back to the loan

On 8/8/I was contacted by Bill Luke Tech stating they ran another road test and the Tech stated that they can feel the car stalling when it's cold and even when the SUV has been running The tech stated that they think it's the motor but not sure yet until further testing I honestly do not think the tech now what is causing this problem First they stated it was the turk converted in the transmission, now they are stating it's the motor I am having this problem when the vehicle starts up and it stalls when it cold I can image when the winter months comes is this going to be a bigger problem Dodge or Bill Luke are not seeing the whole issue with this SUV, I have had problems after days of purchasing this vehicle and it's only months It is VERY frustrating to purchase a vehicle brand new and issue are already occurring with the transmission/motor and making a payment for a vehicle that in the shop most of the time As a customer I am NOT able to enjoy my new vehicle I don't understand why Bill Luke can not take the vehicle back and provide me a GOOD QUALITY VECHILE That's what I and any other customer would except when that's what I would of thought I purchase a GOOD QUALITY VECHILE from Bill LukeCan Bill Luke please provide the number to see if a buy back is optional due to all the problems with this SUV

Customer has n aftermarket warranty that is not a manufacturer that requires us to have the vehicle diagnosed before they will pay for a rental carWe explained to the customer that it would be the next day before we would know what is wrong with the vehicle being that it was already 3pm Enterprise requires a deposit of if you are using a debt card for a rental vehicleWe also explained to the customer that if there aftermarket warranty covers the repair that the rental would be covered and they would get there money back from the depositThe customer asked us if there was anything else we can doThe Service Manager explained that we can give the a free shuttle ride home and the customer did not want to do thatWe explained that this is an Enterprise rule and that we can not overrule another companies policiesThe customer got irate and started yelling profanities and at that time the Service Manager asked her to leaveThe customer proceeded to yell at other customers with profanities and the Servicer Manager asked to leave again and to have another shop work on her vehicleWe feel that this customer was to irate and we do not except customers yelling and using bad language

After looking into the situation further, we are willing to install a new motor for $– which is $1,lower than beforeAgain, this repair has a retail value of $13,This price does not include tax, and is valid through 6/30/ If the customer wishes to get the repair done elsewhere, we will refund him $1,

In response to Complaint ID# [redacted] We looked into customer complaint by [redacted] regarding the claim of his credit bureau score dropping points from being sent to multiple lendersWe did contact the credit bureau ourselves to request removal of of the inquires against his credit but we were told that the customer, [redacted] must initiate the request for removal of inquiries because of privacy laws with the credit bureauAfter customer initiates the request, the credit bureau will then contact us to confirm the inquires for removal, for which we agree to complyThank you

Bill Luke Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is in contact with FCA Chrysler STAR Technical assistance pertaining to the issue the vehicle has a slight "nibble" feel when driving at freeway speedsAt this point we asked the customer to bring the vehicle back for further testing requested by STAR technical assistanceThe customer did drop the vehicle off at the dealership on the evening of 8-5-The customer was advised we would resume diagnosis of this condition on Monday 8-8-As far as getting the vehicle bought back that is something the customer would have to initiate with FCA Chrysler corp

We apologize for your inconvenience When the customer first came into the store on August 29th, Bill Luke did not have the vehicle the customer was looking for at the store Bill Luke then located one at another CJDR store that we could potentially dealer trade for the customer The customer returned on August 31st requesting the vehicle we had looked up a few days prior Unfortunately, at that time the vehicle had been sold and was no longer available Again, we are sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused, but we cannot hold or secure a vehicle without contractual agreement and deposit

The business is not entirely correct in their responseThey have only provided us with a rental car for one day when we took the car to be checked due to the oil leakThey have accepted our request for a third party inspection but still need to be completedThey have not offered a rental car during this process

The vehicle that Mr [redacted] purchased does not come with a month, 3,mile warrantyThis vehicle comes with an implied warranty only (see attached buyers guide), and the customer acknowledged this by signing the attached “Value Line” disclosureFurthermore, the customer stated on the attached “Work Due” Form that he is aware of leaks and declines ANY repairAdditionally, we have attached the signed safety inspection acknowledgement, and declined extended warranty form.We repaired the torque converter as a courtesy to the customer, however we are unable to repair the steering issue as requested by the customer

This Charger was a value line vehicle and comes only with the implied State warranty duration of days or miles – which ever comes firstThe vehicle was sold with 91,miles and when Mr [redacted] contacted us the vehicle has 92,miles on it – an amount far exceeding the mile allowance.Furthermore, Mr [redacted] acknowledged the fact that he was purchasing a value line vehicle and that Bill Luke does not provide any warranties on the vehicle other than the [redacted] State warrantyAlso, he signed an additional document waiving warranty coverage from Bill LukeThese documents are both attached.We are sensitive to the concerns of our customers are we are willing to offer a significant discount on the installation of a new motorThe cost of a new motor and installation has a retail value of $13,We are willing to perform the same replacement for Mr [redacted] for $9,This price does not include tax, and is valid through 6/30/

A the time of the original service of the A/C system the customer was advised of the possibility of an evaporator leak, there were no visual external leaks from the A/C lines, compressor or condenser (however the evaporator assembly in encased inside a housing under the dash so it not be visually seen, therefore since the A/C system was low on Freon it was suspectAs a goodwill gesture Bill Luke Service dept will split thje cost of the evaporator replacement with the customer,This repair is approx$thus the customer's portion would be $service advisor Cody Bakken spoke to customer on 9-7-Customer states she will discuss with her husband and get back to us on their decision

The dealer still needs to provide the vehicle at the advertised price of $16,

On Friday evening 9-18-Service Manager Earl G [redacted] spoke to Mr [redacted] and advised him their vehicle was being repaired at the Chevrolet dealership due to the fact that the cylinder head/gasket repair is covered under the factory Powertrain WarrantyHe also advised that the Chevy dealer stated it appeared the coolant overflow bottle has some type of dish soap in itEarl confirmed that the Chevy dealer w [redacted] take care of this and that all repairs were covered under warranty and advised Mr [redacted] of thisEarl also advised Mr [redacted] that if he needed a rental car during these repairs that his CNA warranty w [redacted] cover the rental car and he c [redacted] pick one up on Saturday from 8-2:Due to the Revdex.com complaint we received, Earl G [redacted] then contacted Mrs [redacted] on 9-23-and basically advised her of the same thingHe advised her that the reason it is taking so long is that the Chevy dealer has the parts on order but they have not come in yetEarl also advised Mrs [redacted] that he explained to her husband that they c [redacted] get a rental car at no charge, as it is covered by their extended warrantyMrs [redacted] declined the rental cat at this timeWe will notify the customer when the repairs are completed

I did not accept the split of the cost as their salesmen told me it was includedfree of cost and they deceived me and refuse to hold up to their word and furthermore go on to insult their customers who have spent hard earned money and trusted them and they pull theses deceivin practices, if not honored I will be forced to pursue legal options as I have a recorded voicemail as prof of the conversation as well as conversation between me and they owners thereThis is beyond rude and dishonest I can't believe they would treat their customers in this way, I will continue to share my story with all social media outlets and my attorney generals office so that no others will be taken advantage of and made to feel like sm
