Please note we recieved an email from Ms [redacted] and this was our response to the claim: Good Morning Ms [redacted] I would like to sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding regarding our advertised day trial offerWe are a proud accredited member of the Revdex.com with an "A" rating and never falsely advertised our product as we believe in full disclosure and can assure you that all payment information and terms were disclosed at time of purchaseI have reviewed your account in question and below are my findingsOn June 19, a person by the name of Michael [redacted] went to our website and ordered a Luminess Professional Edition Airbrush System day trial for $followed by payments of $(plus processing fee) if the airbrush system is kept past the day trial periodThe initial offer was for a Luminess Basic Airbrush System day trial for $followed by payments of $59.99, but Mr [redacted] chose the option to upgrade to the Professional Airbrush System which caused the day trial cost and installment payments to increase The payment information is listed on the very first page, the terms and conditions he checked off on stating he has read, understands and accepts and on the check-out page prior to confirming the orderThe order will not proceed unless the customer checks a box agreeing to the terms and conditionsWe also immediately followed up with a confirmation email to [redacted] confirming all of Mr [redacted] 's agreed upon purchase details Mr [redacted] was also given the exact verbiage below regarding the Luminess Air Club in which he checked off on the terms and conditions stating he has read and accepts Club verbiage provided on Checkout Starting days from your order date, you’ll receive a day supply of airbrush foundations every other month at the guaranteed low price of just $+ S/H/P per month, which you may conveniently call to cancelThere is no commitment or minimum to buy To customize this program or future shipments and charges, call customer service He also checked off on the following terms and conditions regarding the club: The Luminess Air Club offers the convenience of having refills of your Luminess Air cosmetics delivered to your door steps in a timely and automatic manner You will receive your two shades ever so often as agreed; product will be delivered to your address All you pay is $plus S/H/P per month or as agreed Delivery cycles can be changed at any time by contacting Luminess Care at 1-877-749-All trial customers have a complete days from the delivery date to try the airbrush system and in the event they aren’t completely satisfied with the results then return the product for a refund of the purchase price and security deposit, less paid shipping and handling and initial trial cost before the day trial period ends for all ordersPer the agreed upon terms and conditions, a day trial order becomes a final sale which is non-returnable and non-refundable once the Day in home trial expires and any future balance becomes payable as agreed at the time of order Unfortunately it appears that whomever made the purchase on June 19, did not actually read the payment information and terms and conditions in which they checked off on and agreed to and we sincerely apologize for this misunderstandingWe cancelled the makeup club on August 3, as requested, but this does not cancel out the payments towards the actual airbrush system Due to the misunderstanding I'll be more than happy to work with you on this matterSince the day trial period for return has already expired, I will still allow the return, but a 25% restocking fee will be assessed off of the full purchase price This pretty much means you will not be refunded any money, but you will no longer be responsible for the remaining payments Another option I can do is discount the airbrush system for you to make it more affordableAs of now you have payments remaining, I can discount of them and this would only leave you with installment payments remainingI hope this response helps clear up any confusion regarding our day trial offer Please let me know if you would like to keep the airbrush system or return it and we'll go from there Again I would like to sincerely apologize for this misunderstanding regarding our day trial offer Regards, Alana [redacted] Director of Customer Relations

Mr [redacted] is claiming that he did not open the package and returned it to sender via his post office If the package was refused and sent back to our company unopened then the package would show coming back to our company on the same tracking number in which we shipped and delivered to him on January 12, at 12:37pmPlease have Mr [redacted] review our [redacted] tracking number provided to confirm that we DID NOT receive the package back as the tracking number is still showing that it was delivered to Oklahoma and not returned back to our companyIf the package was returned we would have gladly processed it in and have no reason despite the claims Mr [redacted] is makingWe will not continue going back and forth about this matterMr [redacted] was provided return instructions and chose not to return the package accordingly and now the package has been lost and our company is being blamedPlease review [redacted] tracking # [redacted] directly via the [redacted] website to confirm that we NEVER received the package as stated by Mr [redacted] and he should take this matter up with his post officeWe will gladly provide an image of the tracking history directly from the [redacted] website if need be to confirm that the product was NOT returned back to our company

As previously stated, A 25% restocking fee is only assessed on refused packages or if the product is not returned by the due date.As long as the product is returned in time the customer will not be assessed a restocking fee This matter is considered resolved and closed

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10941784, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me I accept that a refund will be made to my credit card for $ that I spent on [redacted] I DO want to add that I tried to call about this problem After two emails from Nytrice, their agent, I called the toll free number to further discuss this I was unable to get through after several attempts, so I gave up Finally, I decided to contact Revdex.com, even though I saw that this company had a A+ rating I still feel that Luminiss in NOT forthcoming in their advertising of their product and "day money back guarantee" In my case, I returned the kit with unopened product, thinking that I was going to be covered by the guarantee A "money back guarantee" would apply to money paid....not money billed in the future I'm sure that many folks have been led to believe that the trial is covered I thank the company for refunding my charge, but I still feel that there should be a check on their handling of terms and conditions My invoice says nothing about the trial being a final cost It's definitely a "Buyer Beware" case

Please note that [redacted] called our company on February 3, and ordered a Luminess [redacted] day trial for $followed by payments of $if the system is kept past the day trial period [redacted] called our company on February 23, requesting a return authorization number and was provided [redacted] The agent provided [redacted] with the return instructions and advised her that the product must be returned back to our facility by March 8, To date, we have not received the returned product back to our facility and this is the reason [redacted] was charged for the [redacted] after the RA# expired [redacted] currently has payment remaining and the [redacted] will be paid in fullAs a courtesy in good faith we will waive the remaining payment dueWe cannot issue any refunds on this account due to the product never being returned back to our facility and we are requesting proof of return such as a tracking numberPlease provide the proof of return via this forumWe look forward to bringing a resolution to this matter

Please note that one of the club charges was already refunded on 7/19/We have issued a refund for the remaining club charges in the amount of $Please allow 3-business days for the refund to appear

We would like to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and shocked to see that Ms [redacted] filed a Revdex.com complaint against our company as we are well within the standard 2-week shipping timeframePlease note that Ms [redacted] placed an order for [redacted] on 10/27/She called our company a few days later on 11/2/requesting a shipping statusWe advised her that due to the demand of the product it has not shipped out, but per our Terms and Conditions, the standard shipping timeframe is 2-weeksUnfortunately Ms [redacted] was not happy with the information in which we provided and threatened to file a complaint against our companyHer order was cancelled out and refunded on 11/2/Again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and misunderstanding regarding our shipping timeframePlease allow 3-business days for the refund to appear
