Jersey City Ford Lincoln Mercury Reviews (101)

Ms. [redacted] is absolutely correct.  There was no communication with the customer.  [redacted] the service manager contacted the customer and we are providing a loaner for her.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:

Mr. [redacted] title was lost in mail and received yesterday.  All paperwork was sent to Ny dmv processor for plates immediately, we actually drive it so it would be processed immediately. It is my understanding that management provided a loaner vehicle for the inconvienence.

We have contacted the customer and he will be out of town until 05/08/2015.

We have the lien release and not the title and because of that we needed some additional information for the customer. The customer was not returning our calls; we needed a copy of her fathers drivers license because the trade belonged to him. After weeks of failed attempts to have the...

customer return our calls, we received an email from them on May 26th stating they do not have the title and sent a copy of the fathers dl so we could apply for the duplicate. They paperwork is sitting in Albany and we are waiting for the title to be released.

Ford. I await to see what action shall take place. I will be completely satisfied once I am issued a reimbursement check for the unused portion of my warranties  (used portion 10.05.12 TO 08.30.15).
Regards,
[redacted]

We no longer spot deliver because there are too many complications with the customers.  Although [redacted] funded the vehicle on Tuesday the monies take 48 hours to hit the bank , which it did today and the customer can pick up vehicle today!

We were able to handle all of [redacted] concerns! Jersey City Ford has paid and plated the car.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Ford has never sent me proof of what they are saying.  They said they stopped payment on both of those checks.  [redacted] is still calling me daily.  They called me today and I explained the situation again, they said they were going to follow up with Ford. I have never been late with any payments and now my credit score is affected by this situation.   I want proof that the car is paid off to [redacted].  I also wonder why Ford has not even had the decency to return my phone calls or E Mails to avoid going this far.  [redacted]

We have contacted our bank for the error on the returned checks as there is money to cover the checks.  We overnighted another check from a different account number and will be following the check.

If you had made payments to the bank while the vehicle was in our possession and can show proof, we will issue you a check for that amount.

The paint has arrived at the dealership today...11/18/2014We do not stock this particular color and it was orderd when we realized that John Mc Hugh had left some deatils incomplete. We are shipping the paint overnight to him.

Ms. [redacted] has taken delivery of the vehicle and has reached an agreement on final pricing.

We have issued a check for the customers payoff in October.  We called for the title and [redacted] the supervisor stated that the account was not paid.  We gave her pour check number and she  said if the check is unassociated, it gets put in suspense and they do not...

cash.  With that being said we reissued another check, sending it directly to her.  We also had them note the account that the vehicle has been in our possession since August.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
In regards to this complaint,  I received another bill from [redacted] Financial on July 27,2015 for the 2014 [redacted] that I traded in to finance a [redacted] at Jersey City Ford . I called [redacted] Financial on 7/27/2015 and spoke with the supervisor, [redacted],  who informed me that the check that [redacted] sent them was sent back due to insufficient funds. Now I owe [redacted] over $2000.00 and I have been paying off my Escape @ $628.00 a month for 6 months on time. On July 28, 2015 I called Jersey City [redacted], after three tries and me being put on hold each time for approx. 20 minutes, I spoke with Mr.[redacted], sales manager and he told me that they have nothing to do with it. He told me to call [redacted] Credit Financial @ [redacted]. I called [redacted] Credit on 7/27/15 and spoke with [redacted], he told me that they can not help me. At this point I was extremely angry and I just hung up.  On 7/28/2015, I called [redacted] Credit again @ 8:15PM and spoke with [redacted], after I explained the situation, he told me to call [redacted] Customer Relations. It was too late so I need to wait until the next day to call them. On 7/29/2015, at 11AM, I called [redacted] Customer Relations and spoke with [redacted] @[redacted], I explained that I have had a bad experience with [redacted] since the first day I went to inquire about a [redacted] Explorer. She has everything on record.  She told me she will reach out to some one at Jersey City [redacted] and get back to me. She did call me back a@ 2PM and informed me that she called and left a message for a manager to call her or myself.  I called [redacted] back and she told me no one has returned her calls and I did not receive any calls.  She suggested that I keep trying to reach out. I called Jersey City [redacted] again and was transferred three times to everybody but a manager. I called back and insisted on speaking to a manager and I was put on hold again for ten minutes, then [redacted] ( who was no nice at all) told me that Mr. [redacted] was going t call me back.  Again, I received no call. I want my [redacted] back and the down payment that I put down $4500.00 on the [redacted] so that I can pay my back balance to [redacted]. I want nothing to do with this company. I really think this should be done.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and I have been refunded. It was stated that an error was made by [redacted] who is the leasing manager. This statement is untrue. This was a deliberate attempt to defraud me. It was most definately a BAIT AND SWITCH act. He lured me into believing I could receive the same lease deal for $100 less at his dealership.  If it was truly an error I should have received a return phone call along with an apology. I called Jersey City Ford over 20 times and NO ONE would refund me.  I left messages for the general manager, sales manager, used sales manager and emailed the owner because he refused to take my call and no one who answered the phone would take a message to him. I finally called [redacted] Relations Center in Michigan.  They had me on hold at least 5 times trying to reach someone at this dealership for me to speak with. They got me on the line with the Used Sales Manager who was the only manager on site. He talked with me for a few minutes and promised to get back with me the following day and never did. [redacted] called numerous times after without getting any manager on the line. Also if this was an error why was my deposit not returned immediately?  There was no error. This is not a dealership that should be doing business with the public. I'm just grateful that I learned what [redacted] was trying to pull prior to buying the vehicle.  PLEASE MAKE THE PUBLIC AWARE OF THEIR FRAUDULENT BEHAVIOR.  I was told by the state that there were numerous complaints filed against Jersey City Ford over the last few years.
Regards,
[redacted]
