To my dear America residents, I'd say be aware of where you open your accountAnd to People's United I would rather say I don't have words to explain how I think they're very abusive with their predatory manner of collecting money from the poorest; It's predatory to hold, delay, and or prospone transactions of your customers to charge them overdraft feesI think it is strongly wrong doing, it's a financial crime and it is a matter that needs the federal government attentionThis act cannot be advantageous to anyone nor to any country: the bank paid my check to return later after I deposited money to my acount in order to charge me an overdraft fee, then repaid the same check to decrease my balance close to zero so more overdraft can be appliedThe bank manage to purposely charge me with overdrafts even when I spend less then what I have availableI think that is worse than gangsters doing

I am rejecting this response because the information in the letter that I received was incorrect and they did not even ask for proof of my receipt or provide any explanation of why my online balance was never identical to my in store balance It also appeared that the phone calls were not listened to after I spoke with the customer service representative and manager There is differing information from each individual I feel that if the employees don't know the answers or policies, how would I know them? I have sent a request directly to Thomas Griesing and asked him to respond to what I disagree with and I attached a photo of my receipt that was never asked for I have attached a copy of this email below. "I received your letter dated December 5, I am not nearly satisfied with what the letter indicates and the enclosed $check that was sent to me I urge you to pull the calls that I had with the CSR and later the supervisor named *** on the evening of 11/15/ She even stated on the call that the time of the $1,check posting to my account was 10:pm, which no matter what way you look at it is past the end of business for any branch I was told by *** *** that anything processed after pm is next business day so in the letter you stated I purchased *** *** at 5:pm so based on the information *** *** gave me isn't this the next business day What concerns me more is that no one I spoke with seems to have the real story of when the check for $1,posted to my account or what the definition of an OTC check is Both the first phone CSR and later *** had two different definitions of an over the counter checkPersonally I was a bank teller years ago and the definition of an over the counter check was when a person came in and cashed a check "Over the Counter" and I am curious to know how a business entity such as *** *** walks in and takes the cash The first CSR as I stated in my complaint to the Revdex.com told me I did not have a receipt for November 14th indicating that I had a $balance If you look in my online statement in no place is there a $balance Why?The reason is because at that time there was no check appearing for the $and then when People's Bank backdated the check to that date and reordered everything it caused the $in overdraft charges I basically gave up and let my outstanding checks come through because could not replace all of the overdraft charges at that time I have attached the copy of the receipt that per the phone call the CSR insisted did not exist I will not be satisfied until I receive the $in charges returned to me Please review this information and let me know your final decision on a complete refund as soon as possible so I can determine if I need to pursue this case legally which I have not done yet pending the reply through the Revdex.com My checking account number was ***.
