Yes he brought the vehicle in during the warranty period and it had the codes for EVAP and air bagwe fixed those, test drove the vehicle and no other codes appearedHe called after traveling back home and after more than 10,miles on the vehicle and stated there was a transmission issueThe warranty was months/ 6,miles

Ms [redacted] did come in and re-select a vehicle on Saturday with a scheduled delivery of the next dayThe vehicle was prepped and ready for delivery and the customer never showed up! Monday morning I received a call from Mr [redacted] stating that "BASIL WASN'T LOSING ENOUGH" on the deal for his satisfaction! The car was released and sold to another partyI would like to remind everyone involved that Basil Resale Center is trying to assist this customer to the best of our abilityOur offer to assist still stands even as Mr [redacted] uses this forum to communicate while telling me he wants nothing to do with this issue! [redacted] Mrs [redacted] was leasing her car thru our in house lease programIn terms of what "Todd" told her I cant speak on there private conversationAll of the sale staff is trained on word tracks and what to tell the customer when they finance with our lease programThere is no commission for doing our in house program so there is no reason to convey informationCustomers can trade and upgrade at anytime but theres many factors that play into thatIncome,credit, cash down, trade valueOur in house lease's do not report to credit reports so it will not improve credit rating at allWith that being said even if you have the loan with bank any past dues accounts and current credit obligations must be current and not past dueAll of this information is gone over when the customer meets with our finance department to sign all contractsMrs [redacted] default on her loan which she signed a binding contract she is required to pay the $8,

Phone response - He uses the truck for deliveriesOn 10/5/he brought it in, we changed a vent valve and crash sensor, there was no transmission code showingOn 12/after putting 13,miles on, he states there is a check engine light and customer declined the diagnosis as he did not want to pay the feeHe had our month/mile warranty, and he declined any extended warrantyThe fee due was because he was well past the miles given

I reject the business response due to the following facts: 1) the business refused to conduct a diagnosis of the vehicle just days after the purchase. Because the business refused, I personally had to take the vehicle to have the diagnosis completed [as demonstrated in both the provided dated email documents and text documents -- the business simply refused to do the diagnosis; 2) also in the 2 dated documents provided, the business was informed of the transmission slipping just days after the cargo van was purchased. The fact that the check engine light came on after driving merely 50 miles, is an indication that the business just slapped an inspection sticker on the windshield without thoroughly inspecting the vehicle; 3) the business promised lifetime oil changes and never changed the oil any of the times the vehicle entered the shop when requested - further demonstrating that the business didn't stand behind the sale -- the business seems to have hoped that the transmission problem would not have been noticed until the warranty ran out. However, the transmission was slipping just days after the purchase as indicated by dated documentation. The business sought the easiest, least costly option to repair, but disregarded the transmission because of the large expense. Dated documentation submitted to The BBB demonstrates the timeliness of reporting the transmission problem -- the transmission problem was reported before the vehicle reached even 3,000 miles and was reported in less that a month from the purchase date. It appears that the company shows a pattern of not honoring its own 6-month/6000 mile warranty. Yesterday 2/22/17, I went to [redacted] Chrysler with the Totally Integrated Power Module (that Basic stated needed to be installed before they could inspect and maybe some of the repairs they made that never worked would start working)The Service Advisor did a check on the system before he installed the TIPM I purchasedHe checked the wiring circuit and found the rear wiring harness truck to body had broken wiresThey replaced the wiring harness and the existing TIPM WORKED! Not only that, but it passed inspectionIt cost me $340.60.Basil should have checked this wiring harnessThey sent me on a wild goose chase for a part I originally was told would cost $ 1,with installationI found one for $+ installation and obviously did not need it anyway Basil should reimburse me for all previous repair charges and deductablesThey should also pay for the Cecconi charges of $ because they obviously did not inspect it, and sent me on a wild goose chase search for parts and how upset I was thinking about not having enough money to get my car inspectedLet me know if you still need the WarrantyIt is pages - can I mail it?
