Job Support Services Reviews (%countItem)

These services enticed me by advertising, specifically, that there were multiple jobs in the town I live in. After paying the hefty prices to successfully be hired for said "open positions", I finished my application with the actual USPS website and found out that there were no positions available in my town. When I contacted this site using both the "Chat with me" and emailed them numerous times I got back the same answer that "positions open and close everyday", but that wasn't the problem. This site still says there are four positions available when there are not any in my town. I got half of my refund, but every person I speak with provides me with little information on this subject. I would suggest people go directly to the USPS website to apply for a job FOR FREE. You'll be met with kinder people and no lying about open positions.

I've never done this before hopefully it guides me through the process

Job support services falsely advertising open job positions and what it is they actually do.
Job support services as officials and that it was required to pay 49.99 to take a test for a job with USPS. On May 4th 2020 charged my credit card 49.99 to take postal exam so I could get a job with USPS. Said the ones with the best score would get job. Sent me notification that there were jobs in my town available when there wasn't. They didn't even have a list of jobs available when you went to look for the list on their web site. None of this is required to get a job with USPS come to find out. I received notification to call them for orientation that would help me to become more familiar navigating this site and they would answer any questions I had. Replied to set up date and time and they replied back that I needed to call instead of setting up time. So I called customer service and the lady who answered was very rude. Wanted to know what I needed help with. Told her I was just calling for my orientation. She acted as if I was stupid and didn't know what I was doing. I didn't have any questions I was just calling for my orientation with them like they told me to. She was very disrespectful to me at this time. Come to find out after talking to a friend that works for postal service you do not need to pay to take a test to be hired for USPS job. Job support services are not officials for the USPS and this is not required to pay 49.99 to take a test to get a job. They are false advertising. Was told when called to get a refund that I could not get a refund unless I failed test . when test is not required to get a job with USPS. They are stealing from people who are just trying to get a better job. Falsely advertising open positions and what it is they really do.

Desired Outcome

I am seeking a refund as well as interest I have been charged 11. 54 because I charged to my credit card thinking to get a job with USPS I had to pay for this test and for job support services to stop falsely advertising and stealing from other who are just trying to get a better job.

This customer claims that our advertisement does not mention that we are not affiliated with the USPS and/or other civil service agencies, however, all of our advertisements do provide a disclaimer stipulating that we are "not affiliated with any government or state entities, including the United States Postal Service and all other civil service industries". This information is also included throughout our website, as well as stated on every phone conversation with all customers. It is our goal to provide tools and assistance to our customers in order to more easily navigate the hiring process and maximize their score on the required exams for entry level civil service positions. On 3/23/2020, the customer contacted us via telephone to purchase and register for our program. They were in fact informed that there is no fee for the official exam(s), and that the fee was for the preparation materials, which are optional. Since our valued customer is unsatisfied, we provided them with a courtesy refund for the full amount.

I am sorry but I did not receive this letter in the mail til 6/30/2020. I got on my computer as soon as I could to respond to find that the case had been closed today 07/01/2020. I was on the computer to responded at 12:29 a.m. 07/01/2020 not realizing that the letter had been sent out on June 23, 2020 and I only had seven day to reply, when I didn't receive it in the mail til today 06/30/2020. unsure as to what happen but I am responding any way hoping you will still except. This business stated that they had provided me with a courtesy refund for the full amount. If that is true it has not shown up on my credit card statement. That is how they would refund my money is to the card I used to pay for it? There is no credit showing on my credit card for the amount 49.99. So I am unsure what I need to do now. So I do not believe they did anything. Sorry if I had of received the letter earlier I would have replied earlier. Thanks

We have received the customer's complaint and again apologize for the confusion about what they purchased. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund the customer for more than the purchase price of $49.99. As soon as we received their 1st complaint, we refunded them immediately. We would be willing to let the customer use our program for a limited time and help assist them through the steps to prepare for a civil service career at no cost. We have aided thousands of applicants throughout the process that were able to better prepare for the necessary testing and vetting, and who were able to gain employment due to this preparation. We are saddened that the customer is unsatisfied and look forward to the opportunity to serve them.

I made an online purchase that turned out to be a false advertisement scam for a federal job.
I made an online purchase for invoice XXXXXX, Receipt #XXXX-XXXX for a total of $39.99 using debit card ending in 8131. This purchase was fraudulent and advertised to be a federal job application. It listed details for my location as well as pay wage. The site then brought me to a screen implicating that a job assessment was necessary to start the application process. There were no details on the screen, just space to enter my bank info. I proceeded to enter my info only to realize in the end that this was a fraudulent site. This "company" knows exactly what they are doing with their marketing scam they've got going on. It is fraudulent, despicable, and down right malicious. It is called manipulation and coercion. This site needs to be banned immediately and justice needs to be had.

Desired Outcome

I seek to be given refund for this pitiful transaction. Full amount: $39.99.

Job Support Services is not, nor do we clam to be affiliated with the USPS, or any other civil service or government agency. We help assist candidates through the hiring process for certain entry level positions in the civil service industry. What we offer is: simulated practice exams, a free hiring guide, a job locator tool, a job board, step by step instructions, and live agent support throughout the entire process. One of our main goals is to be transparent and up front about what customers can expect from us, what products and services we provide, as well as the fact that our products and services are optional. This information is provided throughout our website, as well as on a customer's transaction receipt. Throughout our website, you can find disclaimers stating that we are not affiliated with any government or civil service agency, and that there is no fee to apply, nor for the official exams or the study materials offered by the USPS or any other civil service agency. The fee is for our job board, study guides, simulated practice exams, and customer support. We have helped hundreds of candidates attain employment with the USPS and other civil service entry level positions, and their testimonials can be found on our website. We do understand that our program is not essential for some candidates who prefer to go through the process on their own. We never received a refund request from this customer, however, to ensure quality customer satisfaction, we provided the customer with a full refund on the date that we received their complaint (6/9/2020).

I was under the impression that this company represented officials of USPS and that the $50 exam study guide was a required purchase.
Job Support Services advertised themselves as officials and that it was required to pay $49.99 in order to take a test for a job with the USPS. I was getting emails advertising job openings for USPS window clerk positions open in my town. I was then called and was assured of openings and was asked for my card number and to pay $49.99 to take a test to get the job. This happened 6/8/2020, I paid this amount and later came to find out that none of this is required to get a job with the USPS. This company is falsely advertising open job positions and what it is they actually do. My username is ***@hotmail.com.

Desired Outcome

I wish my $50 charge be refunded

Customer Response • Mar 19, 2020

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I still think the company should take a look at their sales practices and make some changes. I'm far from the first person this has happened to and I'm normally not duped. I didn't even have time to research them before they called, they know what they are doing.

The practice tests and some of the employees were extremely helpful. I also value the fact that I am getting the money I paid for their services back now that I have obtained a job

This agency is wonderful in helping people study and apply for USPS jobs. I am a definite success story because of them.

Practice exams were great. Customer support was also prompt and very knowledgeable.

I want my money back . There is not an available positions on my location .
1/23/2020 jobsupport.com represented itself in my job search as having knowledge of USPS openings in my area and charged me for continuing on in the test preparation and application process for a local position. Upon further research, I found they do not have knowledge of openings in my area as well as learned that their service is not required to locate, test and supply to such positions. $49.99 was charged to my Master Card with the representation that it would be refunded if I do not pass *** I want a refund this company this company are liars.

Desired Outcome

I want a refund.

This customer was informed that there were jobs in their area by a representative who was attaining this information from the USPS website. They were also informed that jobs come and go quickly, so if I job posting is removed then they should check back periodically, even daily, as new jobs are frequently posted. Job support services have helped me find my new career field and I am thankful!

I was scammed by this "company' stating they were affiliated with the USPS. I paid $49.99 and was told I would get a refund after an exam.
This so-called company scammed me out of $49.99 for exam materials for the USPS. The customer service person assured me that I would get my money back after passing 4 parts of their study guide. After probing about the job opportunities, there was no jobs within nearly 100 miles and not what I applied for.

Desired Outcome

I would like my money refunded the same way they took it. After complaining, 'Sean" informed me that to get a refund, I have to fail the test then send them proof of my bank statement that they can see that they took the money. I will not provide such information due to they already have my financial information.

I appreciate my money back which was my main goal. However, their response was full of lies. There was no transparency. I no longer wish to associate with this scam company any further.

I found out that I do not have to take an exam to get a postal job, making this deceptive service unnecessary to me in regards of gaining employment.
Was interested in a USPS job and contacted the number that was provided online. I assumed I was talking with the USPS Human Resources and was informed that I needed to pay for study materials and such to prepare for testing, which I did for $59.99. I found out that I do not have to take an exam to get a postal job. Also called the local post offices and there are no job openings. My Issue is with how it was marketed and without fulling understanding the services, I would like to request a refund for a fraudulent & deceptive service.

Desired Outcome

Looking for a job. Was scammed out of half my wallet; $59.99. Turns out the exam to begin working at the Postal Service is free. I want a refund.
As a fresh graduate of High School, I was inclined to look for a job in a desirable place, the federal lane being a good fit. I got an alert that a post office near me had an opening, and was directed to a number for Job Support Services LLC, which I had to pay a $59.99 fee for an exam that I learned almost immediately afterward was free. I applied and made my payment on August 14, 2019 and was charged through my card which I foolishly gave them. I spoke to a *** Nazario, who assured me the fee could be refunded, and that is what I want as soon as possible.

Desired Outcome

I want a refund. This business is far too vague in its advertisement, leading me to believe they were affiliated with the company I desired to work for.
