Great

I responded to this company regarding a postal job. The person I spoke with,***, said there was a fee for the exam packet that would be refunded after the exam. I gave him my visa #s for$59.00 with the understanding I had 72 hrs.to change my mind. After not being able to do any of the things such as establish my acct. on line I called the phone# he gave to me *** for cust.service which is not in service! Looks like I've been dooped! My only defense is thinking any one connected with the postal service was above board. It has only been hours so I am well within the 72 hr.window to receive a refund, I just can't reach anyone to do so. Also my phone has been ringing off the hook with "other employment" companies so they must share your info. please help me, thank you P.S. I wouldn't be looking for a job if I had $ to throw away!

At Job Support Services, all calls are recorded for quality assurance and training purposes. After reviewing the customer's complaint, we listened to the call where the agent gave the customer our support number, which is: 1 (866) 408-2670. We are assuming that perhaps the customer misheard the agent, as they listed an incorrect phone number in their complaint. However, they were able to access our phone number (which is also listed on the charge on their statement), as they did contact us on 11/19/2018 and requested a refund to which they were approved. A full refund was processed the same day of the request. In addition, the customer claimed that they believed we share our information with other companies. At Job Support Services, we ensure the security of any information gathered, and all customer information gathered is completely confidential. No information we gather is shared or released.

I received a full refund! Thank you so much, you are truly a great organization.

was told if I completed the exam and did not pass the exam I could be eligible for a refund. I took the 150 question exam and my score was calculated as "ineligible" meaning I did not pass the assessment. I would like a refund because I feel as though I am being scammed for my money and cannot pass the first portion of the assessment.

"The Job Support Services' program offers a "Pass the Exam" guarantee. Therefore, registration fees are fully refundable if the candidate takes and does not pass the required postal 473 or 473c exam, or any other civil service exam. Refunds are also available to those who request them within 72 hours of their registration date, provided our program resources have not yet been accessed or used." Since our customer failed the exam, we provided them with a refund for the full amount.

Still waiting for the refund. Will update when I receive my money back

When I called them they said they can only refund half my money yet it was less than 24 hours since I made the payment of $49.99.I only accessed the first part which was about my personality questions not their exam.I think they are a scam to lie they are connected to USPS & can help you get the entrance exam, interview & get hired.I would like to ask them to send my full money back not the $24.99 they say they will refund.

This customer claims that our advertisement does not mention that we are not affiliated with the USPS, however, all of our advertisements do provide a disclaimer stipulating that we are "not affiliated with any government or state entities, including the United States Postal Service". This information is also included throughout our website, as well as stated on every phone conversation with all customers. It is our goal to provide tools and assistance to our customers in order to more easily navigate the hiring process and maximize their score on the required exams for entry level civil service positions. On 10/23/2018, the customer contacted us via telephone to purchase and register for our program. They were in fact informed that there is no fee for the official exam(s), and that the fee was for the preparation materials, which are optional. When they made the refund request, they were informed that they fell outside of our Refund Policy (as our records indicated that the customer had accessed all of the materials), but that they would be issued a partial refund as a courtesy. Before the customer submitted a complaint with the Revdex.com, the supervisor reviewed the call (as all calls are recorded for quality assurance and training purposes) and provided the customer with a full refund. The customer was notified of the full refund via email the same day as the refund request.

Thank you for assisting me.I got full refund.

I was applying for a postal job. The agent gives a misleading information and says I need to pay an amount to be able to continue on the process of application. After accessing the log in details that they gave me, I found out that it's just a training website and not the actual usps career website. I'm not interested in taking the training from them. Hence I wanted my refund for they lied to me.

Desired Outcome

Refund I want to cancelled my transaction with them and refund to me the 49.99$ that I paid thru credit card.

At Job Support Services, one of our main goals is to be transparent and up front about what customers can expect from us, what products and services we provide, as well as the fact that our products and services are optional. This information is provided throughout our website, as well as on a customer's transaction receipt. Throughout our website, you can find disclaimers stating that we are not affiliated with any government or civil service agency, and that there is no fee to apply, nor for the official exams or the study materials offered by the USPS or any other civil service agency. The fee is for our job board, study guides, simulated practice exams, and customer support for certain entry level civil service jobs. The customer never contacted us after purchasing, otherwise we would have provided them with assistance or a courtesy refund. Once we received their complaint, we provided the customer with a full refund.

When I was looking for a usps job which need exam 473 involved. I clicked the link for test registration. They ask for $39.99. I paid it with my credit card. Then I found out this test is totally free. And from the webpage provided by job support services LLC makes it look like a mandatory fee. It is very misleading. I believe it is a scam.

At Job Support Services we make every effort to ensure that anyone choosing to pay their registration fee to enter the Job Support Services Program fully understands what we do, and what they can expect to receive from us. Unfortunately, some do not read or understand what we clearly make available for them to review. We offer job preparation materials that are optional and offered independently from the USPS or any other agency. This customer went to our website and purchased our Program and Services on their own volition. No calls were made to us with complaints or concerns, or we would have provided them with assistance or a courtesy refund, if desired. Once we received their complaint from the Revdex.com on the same day, we provided the customer with a full refund.

I spoke with Sarah she was extremely helpful very informative. It was a pleasure to speak with her. She was honest and offered good advice that I will definitely use in the future. The job support was a godsend. I prepared well and passed my 473 exam. It was awesome.

I paid to get study material to take the postal exam and was told there were several jobs in my area and when I was ready to call them and they would help me find a job. when I called them I was told to go onto usps.com and apply for a job so I went on and there were no jobs in my area so I called them and was told it was not their fault there were no jobs and to keep going so I did this for a few weeks and there was a job in my area so I applied and called them and was stuck waiting on the phone for 55 minutes and then got disconnected and then there sight was down for several days so I emailed them with no response and when I finally called and got someone on the phone I was told I would have to wait until they invite me to take the test. I called them back after 2 weeks and they said I would have to wait and keep checking for more jobs. I waited and finally applied for 3 jobs in my area and was invited to take the exam. I took it and passed. I called them to help me with the next steps and was told I would have to wait until I got an interview and I told them that I was told they would help me with this process and got hung up on so I called again to get no answer. I sent them an email saying I wanted a refund with no response so I called the post office and was told I did not have to pay for study materials so I sent Job Support Services asking for a refund and was told they could not give me a refund and that the post office does not give testing material for free and then got hung up on and then I received an email saying

Job Support Services Response • Oct 15, 2018

This customer last contacted us on 10/1/18 to request a refund. They were informed that their refund was approved, and it was processed the same day, therefore, we are unsure as to why the customer felt that their refund request was denied. At Job Support Services, we record all calls for quality assurance. Upon listening to the calls made by the customer, we did not find any times where the customer was hung up on. In addition, they did receive support through the process, and were informed that the next step after passing the exam was to apply again for any available positions, and then they would need to wait to be invited for an interview (which is the next step in the process). We are unsure why the customer felt that they did not receive any help, but due to this and to ensure quality customer satisfaction, we refunded the customer on the day of the refund request.

Customer Response • Oct 15, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I was refunded my money

Gave misleading information that led to charges of 50 dollars for a practice exam which isn't offered by the post office. Practice tests are available for free and people should not be charged for something that is free online. The companies "address", is actually an address for a spine treatment site in Georgia. They would not offer a refund after claiming I would get one if I took the test at the post office, but I went to the post office and no such test was offered. Their website makes it look like they have a connection to the US Postal Office, but they clearly do not.

Desired Outcome

Refund For me I would like $49.99 refund for fraudulent services, and I would like there to be a full investigation into the company and the fraudulent business they have set up.

The USPS does offer free printed materials, but they do not offer simulated practice exams that test and grade you, nor do they offer job boards and customer support to assist you throughout the process. We are unsure why the customer feels our website "makes it look like we have a connection to the USPS", as there are clear disclaimers throughout our website that indicate we are not affiliated, nor do we use any of the USPS logos or ads. The customer also claims that our address incorrect and is for a spine treatment center. Our address is current, and the suite was previously leased as a medical facility. This customer contacted us on 9/26/2018 to purchase our program and services. They have utilized all of the materials and received our services at least once. Once we received the customer's complaint, we decided to provide them with a full refund to ensure quality customer satisfaction.

I signed up to take civil service exam and have been given the run around. I have had to apply for a job before I could be "invited" to take test.
I purchased this on 8/31/2018 at the cost of $39.99 . I have a confirmation number of *** I have called twice asking for a refund on the dates of 9/11 and 9/9/13 when I discovered I wasn't going to be able to make the deadlines because of my job I have now and because my computer at home wasn't compatible for taking the test online. I paid with my work pay card #***. They keep telling me I can't get a refund until I take the test and flunk. I just want my money back.

Desired Outcome

I just want my money back.I work full time and can"t run around trying to find a computer to take this test on in the time frame they set . The library is closed today and the deadline is tomorrow.I've tried to take it at home and my computer is not compatible to take the test is the message I keep getting. I'm just tired of messing with this and want my money back, PLEASE.

Job Support Services Response • Sep 17, 2018

On one of the service calls made by the customer to our company, they requested a refund. Our refund policy states: "The Job Support Services' program offers a "Pass the Exam" guarantee. Therefore, registration fees are fully refundable if the candidate takes and does not pass the required postal 473 or 473c exam, or any other civil service exam. Refunds are also available to those who request them within 72 hours of their registration date, provided our program resources have not yet been accessed or used." At the time of the request, the customer did not qualify for a refund, as they were past the 3-day (72 hour) right of recession, they had accessed the materials, and as they stated themselves that they did not take and fail the Official 473 or 473c exam. Also, in order to schedule a time to take the official exam, you must first apply to a job in your area to receive an invite from the USPS with a date and time to take the exam, which the customer has not yet done. Other mitigating circumstances would qualify candidates for a partial refund. Customers who have completed all the required steps within the program and find that there have been no available jobs within 50 miles of their residence after 120 days of registering for the service can qualify for a partial refund and maintain full access to their Job Support Services account. We provide this option to customers as a courtesy, as USPS jobs frequently come and go. Because our product is delivered electronically at the moment a payment is approved, it is not practical to offer refunds for those who change their mind or make an assumption that we offer something that we do not, or that we are an entity that we are not. There is simply no way to recover an electronically delivered product. This is a common problem for all providers when products are delivered electronically, however, it is our goal to provide tools and assistance to our customers in order to more easily navigate the hiring process and maximize their score on the 473 Exam in order to obtain a position with Postal Service. Since our valued customer is unsatisfied, we provided them with a courtesy refund for the full amount.

I was recently contacted by this company in regards to certain openings in my immediate area with the USPS. Upon calling to start my employment process, it was later shared with me from an outside source that there is no fee for applying to the USPS.

Desired Outcome

Refund I would like to be refunded the $49.99 for my "application" and testing fee.

I contacted this service believing that they were directly related to the USPS hiring process. When I spoke with one of the customer service reps. I asked if they were directly related to the USPS hiring because they were asking me for $49.99 charge to be able to take the entrance exam with the USPS. When I received the welcome email, they only thing they provide is a means of several practice exams (which are simple) and they guide you verbally in creating an account with the USPS and looking for a job. All things that can be done by yourself without their help; and I had done all of them without their help. When I asked what else they did, if they set up an appointment to take the exam, the lady I spoke with said that I would have to apply for a job in order to receive an invitation from USPS to take the exam... So in essence they have no control on booking or setting up any appointment with the USPS as I was told by the previous lady. A total scam, and not they tell me if I would like a refund, I need to take the exam and fail it.

We offer different levels of access and support to our programs, and on 8/2/2018 this customer went to our website and purchased our "Basic Support" option, which is (1) installment of $39.99. Before a customer is able to submit a payment, they must click to agree to our Terms and Conditions, which includes our Refund Policy. When the customer did contact us for a refund, we were able to confirm that they accessed and utilized the materials, which per our Refund Policy, made them ineligible to receive a refund at the time of the request. Our refund policy is clearly stated throughout our website, and the customer did have to agree to it before they were able to submit a payment. For this program, our policy is: Refunds are available to those who do not pass the Postal Battery Exam 473. Refunds are also available to those who request them within 3 days of registering, provided their account has "NOT YET" been logged into. Being that the customer had accessed the materials, they were deemed ineligible at the time of the request. While job hunting, I ran across this website*** . This website listed SEVERAL United States Postal Serivce jobs available around where I live. I clicked on one that I was interested in and selected "Apply now". I typed in my name, email address, phone number and zip code and clicked "submit". On the next screen, this website said to call this number to complete registration. ***
I called the number to this company and spoke with a woman. She was explaining all of the information about the USPS exam (how many sections there were, how many questions, and how much time is provided). I asked her how much did the test cost and she said $49.99. I paid for it thinking that I paid for the test and the practice materials were included with it.
I went to the USPS website and after some research; I found out that the USPS test is actually free! Also, the abundance of jobs that the jobsupportservices website said were available in my area are nowhere to be found. This website provided false information and was a ploy to get people to sign up for the practice materials thinking that they were applying for a job and paying for the USPS test. This website is a scam and I would like to get my $49.99 back. I have emailed them twice and have yet to receive any reply. Both emails were sent a week ago, on 7/26/18.

Desired Outcome

This include pre exams and helping with my USPS job search. I hesitated and it continued to come up when I attempt to search on USPS job site. So yes I thought it was legit. So I continued with the payment application. I have called and waited to hear back from them pertaining my job search. They became very noncompliant with their services. On 7/16/2018 I decided to try and apply for a job with USPS. I signed up and they made me pay 39.99 to take a test I cannot even complete.
On 7/16/2018 I called Job Support Services in order to apply for a job with USPS. They made me feel like they were affiliated with USPS while I was speaking with them over the phone, so I felt comfortable. At a certain point, they told me that I needed to pay $39.99 in order to complete a test in order to be hired. I payed them the $39.99 thinking that I would easily be able to take the required test. I did not even receive a receipt in my email inbox! I did however, receive a confirmation email giving me my username and password to login on their site, but it did not have any policy information inside of it. I have not even been able to navigate or use their site because of how broken and confusing it is. I cannot even sign up for a job with USPS, or take the required tests because of it. Today I called Job Support Services to ask for my money back because I already have a new job and no time to even try to attempt to navigate their website. Over the phone, the customer representative told me that it was passed the three days I had in order to get my money back, and that I would HAVE to complete the test and FAIL it in order to get it back. They also told me that I had to PASS the practice tests, which I cannot even study for due to the website. I talked to her manager and she said the same thing and she made it clear that there was NO WAY TO GIVE ME MY REFUND AFTER THREE DAYS, which is a complete lie according to how payments are collected and dealt with in a business. Over the phone during my first call when I paid the 39.99, the representative DID NOT tell me about their three day money back policy. If I had known about that, I would have already cancelled earlier. The exploited feeling I am getting from the company is definitely significant, especially since I just found out that they were not even affiliated with USPS today when I was talking with an actual USPS representative over the phone. Please return my money and NEVER take another customer's money again without giving them ALL of the required information about your policies and make it EASILY AVAILABLE TO THEM. This has been a problem for this company since 2017 when they were charging customers a large sum payment of $99.99, and most likely a long time before that.

Job Support Services Response • Aug 15, 2018

At Job Support Services, we offer job preparation materials that are optional and offered independently from the USPS or any other agency. This was also communicated on the call that the customer made on 7/16/2018. When the customer contacted us, one of our representatives informed them that about the requirements for the USPS position that they inquired about and told them about the preparation materials we offer. The customer decided to purchase our materials, and we do see that they accessed the materials (last access of 8/1/2018). We were also able to confirm that the customer was sent a receipt at the time of purchase, which included our Terms and Conditions, as well as our Refund Policy. It is possible that the receipt email was delivered to a spam or junk mailbox. We are saddened to hear that the customer felt misled about our program and services, to which the customer expressed to us on a call they made on 8/1/2018. On that call, the customer was informed that we refunded their payment to ensure quality customer satisfaction.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
If your email address is under Google's list of spam email addresses, that must mean that ya'll are notorious for spam. I took it upon myself to look in my spam folder and didn't find a receipt. Not only are you lying about a receipt, you are also leaving out information out about how incredibly hard it was to get my money back from you to look better to the Revdex.com. "On that call, the customer was informed that we refunded their payment to ensure quality customer satisfaction." It took basically half a day of me calling you and complaining for anyone to even think of doing anything. In the end when I got my money back, I had to speak with your supervisor's supervisor, and I had to explain to him that I was going to post on the Revdex.com and that I called my bank to try and get my money back because of your being exploitative to customers. This exploitative attitude wasn't just a problem with me, it was a problem with many other customers, as you can see in the complaint area on the Revdex.com site. Yes, I got my money back, but the fact that you're fighting with customers on whether or not to give back their money when your services hardly even work correctly, is a great indication that you're a sham. Another great indicator... when I call your number ya'll act like you're part of USPS. The automatic voice message at the beginning of the phone call talks about USPS jobs like their your own. I called numerous times and listened to this absolute malarkey over and over again because there's no way to get anyone on the phone until you're done listening to it for about 5 minutes. This leads to confusion on who exactly the customer is calling and what type of company you even are. I, personally, thought you were partnered with USPS because of your automatic voice message. This is why I called the real USPS to find that you weren't affiliated at all. Any information on your site is hidden from customers until they search for it. This is an example of something worse than fine print, and definitely more corrupt than it.
