Sly little company here. They hide behind advertisement that resembles the usps. They told me about positions available in my area, and convinced me to drop $$$ to get test material for postal exams. She talked me into this, and later I discovered there is no fee. They are sneaky, they try to sound like they are from the post office, but they are not!

Throughout our website, you can find disclaimers stating that we are not affiliated with any government or civil service agency, and that there is no fee to apply, nor for the official exams or the study materials offered by the USPS or any other civil service agency. The fee is for our job board, study guides, simulated practice exams, and customer support for certain entry level civil service jobs. This information is also provided in the opening line of all telephone communications with customers. The customer purchased on 2/15/2019. We did not receive a refund request from this customer, but as they are dissatisfied, we provided them with a full refund when we received their Revdex.com complaint.

Initially I thought Job Support Services is connected to *** , they were not clear on their purpose. I found out that the exam is free , I thought that the $59.99 was the fee for the exam. The rep that I was talking to stated that if I do change my mind, I can get the refund within three weeks of asking
for a refund. I called back today 2/25/2019 and ask for a refund and the customer rep told me that I cant get a refund unless I take the exam and if I fail the exam that is the only time that they will refund me my money!

This customer contacted us on 2/11/2019 and purchased our program and services. After listening to the call, we can confirm that the customer was informed explicitly what we offer, that our program is optional, and that we are not affiliated with any civil service agencies. The customer did contact us on 3/1/2019 and requested a refund. Their fee was refunded in full, so we are unsure as to why the customer feels that they were denied a refund. At Job Support Services, one of our main goals is to be transparent and up front about what customers can expect from us, what products and services we provide, as well as the fact that our products and services are optional. This information is provided throughout our website, as well as on a customer's transaction receipt. Throughout our website, you can find disclaimers stating that we are not affiliated with any government or civil service agency, and that there is no fee to apply, nor for the official exams or the study materials offered by the USPS or any other civil service agency. I went on line to determine how to apply for a US post office job. I opened a link on how to take the test and called it. I spoke with a person who I asked if he was with the Post Office and he said yes and that it would cost $59.99 to take the test. After paying the cost with credit card, I checked Revdex.com and found 40 similar complaints. I immediately called back and cancelled the order to take a test and the same person said it would be 3-5 days to get the refund. I told him that I was going to dispute the charge with my credit card company, Chase, and he advised I didn't have to but I did and they have a record of this. Chase held the charge and did an investigation, I received a letter from them they would. I then received a letter from Chase that they issue was resolved and no charges would be made. Now I received a letter from Chase that this company provided the cancellation policy, which I was never told or saw and the company doesn't have a record of cancellation meeting the policy. Chase will honor this company's rebuttal. This is not the Post Office or some company I would ever recommend and I was lied to several ties regarding their business. Never pay for a test for the Post Office. I will also stop doing business with Chase who said they sent me the rebuttal from this company but I did not receive it. This is a sales scam to get you to take their services saying you need to pay for the test for the Postal Service. They may provide training but I never took it and didn't want it.
Product_Or_Service: Thought it was cost of test but was training.

Desired Outcome

Refund I know the $59.99 is a minor amount of money in comparison, however, as a retired police officer, I do not like companies that falsify their information to make sales. I cancelled this by phone which is the way it was ordered and within a short time of the order. I notified the bank within a short time after cancelling the order, all within a maximum of two hours on the same day. For them to keep the money is a scam. I will also pursue with GA AG Office and Postal Inspectors Office.

Job Support Services, LLC really helped. I would not have been prepared for the test or the interview process if I did not have their help. I would have been completely taken off guard. I'm grateful to them for providing the tools that I needed to not only secure employment with USPS as an RCA, but to excel from the very beginning. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking employment with USPS.

Just as others, I was looking for a job and came across "(local) postal service position available" ad. When I applied, I was funneled into website that gave me impressions of I was paying for the exam fee. I charged the $49.99 to my credit card, but according to FTC all the exams for Federal Employment are FREE.

I would like my money back.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

Was confused and got lured into spending $50. Found a post about a postal job and thought I was paying for the test but all I got was some practice tests that were not that helpful. I would like a full refund as the way they described it was wrong and lured me into spending $50 thinking it was the cost of the actual test.

Desired Outcome

Refund I would like a full refund back. This is not what I thought it was and was not as described.

Was lured into a one time fee of $59.99 to help get a *** job. After calling the ***, I was told they do not these services. People beware. Saw all the similar complaints here, immediately called them back, and they said they would process a refund in 2-3 business days. Not believing them I turned it over to my banks fraud/claim dept., and have been issued a new credit card as they have all my info. I now have to update all my payments that come out of this card. A royal pain as I had to spend about 2 hours on the phone rectifying this. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE

Desired Outcome

Refund Waiting for the refund that they say will take 2-3 business days

Got my refund

I called their number advertising postal jobs in my area ***. And would I like a front office, delivery or other entry level position making $52k a year. Then started in on some exams that if I made at least 70 I would pass but only the highest would be picked first. Sounded like they were part of the usps. Then asked if I would be paying with credit or debit card to get started. $49.99. I paid with my debit card that I want refunded when I felt something was not right, then I read all these scam complaints with Revdex.com, thanks al

This customer contacted us and purchased our program and services on 1/22/2019. On the following day (1/23/2019), they emailed us to request a refund. Their refund was provided in full the same day as the request. Scammers do not provide customer service and refunds, to which this customer received both. At Job Support Services we make every effort to ensure that anyone choosing to pay their registration fee to enter the Job Support Services Program fully understands what we do, and what they can expect to receive from us. Unfortunately, some do not read or understand what we clearly make available for them to review. We offer job preparation materials that are optional and offered independently from the USPS or any other agency. Throughout our website, you can find disclaimers stating that we are not affiliated with any government or civil service agency, and that there is no fee to apply, nor for the official exams or the study materials offered by the USPS or any other civil service agency. I have been job hunting and saw a postal position on line. When I went to apply for it I was directed to a site that lured me with saying they could help me get this job...just pay $59.99 to get to the testing needed to get the job. After realizing that the tests were not going to get me any farther, they were just mock tests, I tried to call to get a refund within my 72 hours. I did this on a Friday evening and when I called back they were closed until Monday. I have emailed them.

Desired Outcome

Refund I would like my money ($59.99) refunded and the company be required to change their tactics of luring people.

It was well worth the money.

This company is using the guise of being associated with the USPS. At no time did the customer service representation tell me they weren't the USPS or associated with them in any way. When I called back 30 minutes later to tell them I wanted a refund because my wife told me this was a scam and there were numerous complaints against this company I was informed that they'd make a note in my account but that customer service was closed until Monday morning. Interesting that they were open to charge my card $49.99 30 minutes prior but not to refund my card.

I was searching for a job for my husband and believing that the services that I was purchasing were legitimate, I paid $50 dollars. I risked myself by putting my card number onto this website in order to apply for this job for my husband. This took place on a Saturday night, in the month of November. The 24th of November, of this year. My husband did some research and found out that I had been scammed. no one pays to apply for a job and when I looked up the job again under the postal services of North Carolina and applied for the job, it was COMPLETLEY free! I would really like to have my money back. Please help me! Thank you!

Desired Outcome

Refund I would like the 50 dollars that I gave this company in order to apply for the job for my husband.
