Billed for autorenewal from three years ago and through Berry comp not Vivial
Billed for autorenewal from contract three years ago with Berry CompanyI remember being forced to pay last year with a recording of me agreeing with the Berry CompanyI thought I had cancelled service then
Vivial has been horrible to talk toThey have not given any options except to cancel contract now, but are still requesting payment for unwanted and unneeded service
They even sent me a blank contract saying this is what you areed toNow they have sent me a voice recording from three years ago agreeing with the Berry Company, not themThey still sent me a vivial contract, not the Berry company contract
I see nowhere in the Berry Company contract stating it will be held up to successors, but they are trying to enforce it after I thought I cancelled more than a year ago

This company continues to bill me after we closed our business
The Berry Company was doing my yellow pages adsI was paying through my local telephone company, Hawaiian TelWhen I closed my business in June I also closed my business telephone service and the yellow pages service with BerryIt was complicated to close with Berry, first because they were being paid through Hawaiian Tel, then because they did not stop their services and we had to haggle over what I owed themSince then, they have 'renewed' their services again, once in 2015, and now again in January, When I called their company, they hung up on me

Our Company, *** ***, has self employed Agents and Agency ManagersThese Agents and Managers are free to partner with services to help them market their business at their own expense and obligationOne of these Agency managers, *** *** in *** ** apparently had an agreement with Vivial for some Advertising servicesMr*** was killed in an Auto Accident in OctoberAs a courtesy, I advised Vivial of his passingNow they are billing me for this serviceI have never made an agreement with this Company nor ever signed anything with themI have advised them over the phone (10/20/and 12/14/17) and in writing (10/31/and 11/30/17) that I am not involved in this in any way other than being the messenger that Mr*** has passed away and to remove my name from their recordsI have just received another bill with my name on itFurther, it lists me at the *** Address and I have never been associated with that address

I'm filing this complaint because of VERY misleading and pushy sales tactics!!
Last fall a sales rep from Vivial called me and gave a marketing spiel about this ad to run in thier local small phone bookIt all sounded really good and and the price sounded good tooHe said it would $for the addHe even said that comes out to a penny per copy of the phone bookSo I agreed that I would run the adHe then said he would do a recording of our verbal agreement, which he did in a quick monotone, and since it was a somewhat noisy work environment, I didn't pick up on anything other than $for this adSo in January when the ad came out they send me a bill for $which I paid promptlyNow in February they send another bill for $So I call customer service and the customer service rep by the name of *** *** proceeds to tell me that this is a monthly charge for months, which would come out to $3,totalThat is huge difference from $At no tim

We were contacted last year by Vivial to do digital advertising, they were promoting new services and indicated if we went with the digital advertising that it would greatly increase our exposure on the internetWhen we signed up with Vivial in September we were promised the following:
Premier Google advertiser with our disciplines listed when people searched for engineers and our specialties
Fresh updates
Website design complete with photos (we never agreed to do participate)
Mobile friendly
Offered to do a Facebook page which I declined A personal account coordinator would be in contact with me to update periodically to optimize ranking on search engines
Key word tags
Google ad key words to show up for *** metro showing to optimize our ranking
A personal account coordinator would share information with me as far as hits to site, contacts made to our search info

Service not provided as promised
On November 29th, I received a cold call from a Vivial employee by the name of *** *** He was promoting Vivial services to attract more traffic to my business websiteAt a scheduled webminar Josh explained how his team can help increase traffic to my site by using Search Engine Optimization (SEO)I explained what my needs were and agreed to try the service for a month periodAfter the two months I noticed that the service that they were providing was designed for local business that were aiming at attracting physical traffic to their storesThis was not at all the service that I had agreed tooI was expecting to customers from target markets to visit my website not local walk insI tried to address the issue with *** *** (Implementation Manager) and his managerAfter speaking to his manager I was informed that I was provided a different service than SEO and in order to get the SEO service I would need to start a new month contrac

We refused to sign a new contract, cancelled our directory services over the phone with Berry and with Vivial, by letter with our July bill, and by certified letters to both companies We received an email from Berry cancelling our account, but continue to recieve bills and threats to turn it over to a collector

Both sales person and sales manager failed to respond to numerous emails asking for a cancellationNow Charged $+ cancellation fee!!!

My business *** *** *** is somehow connected to *** *** *** account It has severely affected my ranking within google because of their lack of web presence and their poor ratings on Google I have spent the last two days working my sales rep and Yellowpages and Vivial and have gotten nowhere I also tried to claim the listings for the two pediatric dentists that work for me and the number they have to call us to input code to claim is my fax and no one can fix this issue I want to have our details fixed on all our ads as well as the ad for *** *** *** that somehow was edited with their practice name and their phone number but it was our listingIt is causing us substantially lower call volume and search volume for potential customers All I want is for someone to fix all these issues and their technical department won't help

Trying to get me to pay for a service I never asked for
I had placed an ad on Craigslist somebody from the berry company called called me about advertisingAfter trying to get off the phone for a while I agreed that he could start making an advertisement but that I didn't want it printed until I had a chance to look at it and agree to itWell not two weeks later I called up there before he probably even had a chance to make the ad and told them I didn't want the serviceYet I begin to receive bills I tried calling them I talked to the sales manager who said she listened to my recording and that I agreed to it but when I asked to hear it I was not allowed because I know I did not agreeAnd of course they can't find the recording of me calling in there to cancel I never agreed to any of this nor did I ask for any of this from this company I have not even so much as seen the ad yet I'm supposed to pay them $2,for it unacceptable I will not
