Product has a 3 year warranty

we have contacted the customer and reached an agreeable solution

[redacted] Ryobi Blower has been repaired and is available for pickup. Our Service Group and the Authorized Service Center have left a number of messages for [redacted]

We've made multiple attempts to contact customer via phone & email. To this point, we have been unable to make contact or receive a response.

TTI received Ms. [redacted] complaint and the issue was swiftly escalated to TTI’s safety department as TTI treats safety claims with highest level of concern. Ms. [redacted] requested monetary compensation in order to ship the product back to TTI, for which TTI awarded.  TTI proceeded to: 1-test the...

product in question, 2-resolve any issues. TTI investigated Ms. [redacted]’ product and found that the product was fully functional without defect. To help resolve the matter, TTI safety informed Ms. [redacted] of the proper method to operate the product by 1-describing the method by which string is advanced, 2-informing Ms. [redacted] of proper operation of the product, and 3-directing Ms. [redacted] to the operator’s manual which describes functionality, proper use, and safety precautions. Ms. [redacted]’ claim of defect is a misunderstanding of the functionality, as the manner by which the product advances string is different from other trimmers in the market. Ms. [redacted] ignored TTI safety’s instruction regarding functionality, and has also ignored the instruction to wear protective clothing while operating the product. TTI regrets any inconvenience this may have caused Ms. [redacted], and is happy to continue direct conversations through TTI safety with additional concerns.

I have attempted to contact [redacted] on three occasions by phone since 8/25, supplying my direct phone number in each message I left and my e-mail address on the second and third attempts .  I have received no answer and no reply thus far.

We emailed the customer the resolution and his response indicated he was very pleased with the action we had taken. We don't understand why this response is not consistent with what he emailed us.

We contacted customer and resolved his issue

I have already made it clear to Ryobi that I bought a brand new-in-package laser level from a third-party seller on [redacted] in late November 2016 (receipt attached). The warranty (attached) says nothing about restricting service to purchases from "authorized sellers". But these are not acceptable to Ryobi, a company that simply refuses to honor its warranty. Sooner or later, Ryobi is going to face legal action for its stubborn refusal to do right by its customers.I am an elderly woman on a fixed income so a $24 loss means something to me. There are dozens upon dozens of online complaints about Ryobi refusing to honor its warranties; mine is not an isolated case. Revdex.com:

We've worked with the customer to come to an agreeable solution

The fee charged upon submitting tools for repair at [redacted] and many service centers is a refundable deposit. A technician will inspect the tools and determine if the failure is covered under the terms of the warranty. If warranty is confirmed, the customer's deposit is refunded. If it...

is determined to be a non-warranty issue, the deposit is used toward the repair charges.Average repair turnaround is far less than 90 days. Without knowing the extent of repairs required and the specific parts required in repair, we cannot accurately estimate repair turnaround.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. [redacted] would not have record of my tools being dropped off for repair as I did not. [redacted]'s policy is a $20.00 upfront deposit per tool which is returned IF THE WARRANTY COVERS THE REPAIR. If not that keep that and charge you the remaining for the repair. So it's a 50/50 chance. Now if I was 100% guaranteed that they would cover the burnt out motors then yeah I may consider doing that but then with that said I should not have to pay a deposit. Now I am in construction I need my tools every day or I lose work which mean I don't get paid. I and people like me don't have the time to send tools off to be repaired. I ended up just having to take more food money out of my kids mouths to buy a new tool.

The company doesnt want to admit that the line gets spit out too far.

an order for a new battery was entered for [redacted] and our Service Manager is attempting to make contact with him to discuss.
