I have not been able to get in contact with Deville since I paid the in a settlementThey promised to remove this off my Experian report as if I never had a car through Chrysler , which I didn't( I co-signed) My credit report states Chrysler -closed Negative and Deville shows 13,
I do not have any good number to reach themI have emailed and no response and the fax number doesn't work either
I am in the process of trying to clean up my credit from my divorce and so that I can purchase my first home I have an account on my credit from DeVille Asset Management I have NEVER received anything from this company, never a phone call or anything in writing It has been removed from credit bureau's, but I cannot get it off of Experian I have attempted to dispute this account and it comes back as accurate Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove this account??
On July 5, Deville Asset Management received my certified letter requesting validation of accounts they are attempting to collect on accounts D40921*** They never responded Under the Texas Finance Code the debt collection agency has thirty (30) calendar days to respond to a debt validation request All debt collectors operating in the State of Texas must be able to verify, or "validate," any debt on which they are attempting to collect paymentTexas Finance Code Section requires a debt collection agency or credit bureau to provide the alleged debtor with specific information concerning their debt including but not limited to: The name of the original creditor the original date of default or non-payment of the debt the date the debt was transferred from the original creditor to the third party debt collector The original balance The current balance Surety bond information respond or did not respond in timeIf a debt collector has failed to respond to your debt vali
They are reporting inaccurate information to the credit reporting companiesThey are saying I had an auto loan which I never hadThey are robo dialing me all day long and threatening me via phone messagesI disputed the debt and they sent me information that did not matchI disputed it with the credit companies and they lied and said it was reported accurately and even filed more inaccurate informationI need them to remove this from my credit reports since I never had a contract with the company they say I owe money toThey have already been in multiple law suits for this type of fake collection activity
I recently settled a debt with this company in November who in returned promised to have this settled and closedWe settled for $however, this collection still shows open with a pending balance even after the settlementNumerous attempts have been made to have this resolved with this debt collection agency but my efforts are being unansweredThese are terrible business practices towards consumers who are trying to get them selves better
I do not have a contract with Deville Asset ManagementI am not liable for collection this debt from ***I am not responsible for this debt
?Upon reviewing my credit report, I have noticed an alleged collection account listed by DeVille Asset Management, opened on May 1, in the amount of $11,836, that was recently reported to my credit reportsI am not aware of this alleged account, nor have I been contacted or notified by DeVille Asset ManagementWith the business not notifying me regarding this account, I believe this to be a violation under the FCRA
This company put a debt on my credit report as collections this account was sold to them march 29,as listed on my credit report this company violated the law they did not submit me any thing in writing that they were pursuing this debt they never told me what I owe never gave me a right to dispute or inform me of who my original debtor was the law states they have days to submit this to the consumer my credit decreased points by this unlawful action
I received a collection claim on my credit score from this company.I do not owe or have never done business with Deville asset management. They have unlawfully placed a collection on my credit report and it needs removed immediately. They are also only showing on Trans union credit report which I believe them to be doing business with to harm people's credit.I have never received any mail or phone calls from Deville asset management.I believe this to be a predatory scam on old debt
On May 21, Deville Asset Management received my certified letter requesting validation of accounts they are attempting to collect on account D28413*** They never responded Under the Texas Finance Code the debt collection agency has thirty (30) calendar days to respond to a debt validation request All debt collectors operating in the State of Texas must be able to verify, or "validate," any debt on which they are attempting to collect paymentTexas Finance Code Section requires a debt collection agency or credit bureau to provide the alleged debtor with specific information concerning their debt including but not limited to: The name of the original creditor the original date of default or non-payment of the debt the date the debt was transferred from the original creditor to the third party debt collector The original balance The current balance Surety bond information respond or did not respond in timeIf a debt collector has failed to respond to your debt valid
I have repeatedly ask this company to verify an alleged debt of $that they say I owe themThey have failed to send me a contract bearing my signature of what the debt is they say I oweI also filed a complaint with the CFPB which they still failed to verify
I sent the following letter to CFPB to assist me with this matter on 11/2/and they have yet to verify
I received a notification from the Credit Bureaus that the Company *** *** *** has flagged my accounts for collectionI never received any letters with any chance to verify thisI disputed this company earlier this year for failing to provide my signature proving that I owe them anythingThey also removed this from my reportI received a notice on May 05, which I will attachThey have violated the FCRA on reinsertion, and have also failed to provide me with any proof that I have business with their company
On 11/22/the CFPB sent me the following update
response
STATUS
Compa
I never made any agreement from this aganecy only with the school that is now closed
I was informed of two derogatory issues on my credit score through *** *** alert systemUpon investigation, I was informed Deville Asset Management has placed my two student loans in collection status I have bank statements, phone conversation records, and a dispute filed with Transunion as proof of this agencies wrongful actionsI have recently found I am not the only person affected by their wrongful collection processI have also, researched this company finding many complaints against them for similar situations as mine
Received a judgement against me for $10,on a $payday loan
This company just incorrectly reported a "charge-off" on my credit report for an account going into collections on January, The problem with this is the debt was also "paid off" and closed in per a discharged Bankruptcy So they fraudulently reported a paid off debt years after my bankruptcy was discharged They must have just acquired the debt, although it was paid and discharged in They reported it as discharged in 2012, but also as a fresh new charge-off How can they report it as both? They just plummeted my credit report and need to correct it
I've recently received a notice from *** *** *** today regarding *** ***They told me that my account was assigned to them and that I have less that days to make arrangements for payment or they will commence with further collection effortsThey've also told me that I can make payments online @ ***
They've also told me that the letter is a communication attempt by a debt collector to collect a debt and any information that they receive will be used for that purposeIt also states that I have days to dispute the validity of the debt or they will assume that the debt is valid
I don't know if it is real or if it's a scam from a companyAlso, the account was assigned from *** ***I'm wondering how it's possible for them to get an account from a school that has been closed since March of With that in mind, shouldn't this account be null and void since the school is officially closed
Deville asset management popped up on my credit report a couple months ago saying they represent *** *** I went to *** in 2010-so I did go there and the debt is valid but I filed chapter in and they were not on my credit report nor was *** if they were then they would be apart of my chapter but for them to pop up when I have been in a ch for almost years is redicoulous how are they able to add this to my credit report
Deville Asset Management has reported a collection on my credit report that is falseThey say it is related to an *** account, but when I called *** they have no record of me ever having had a card with themDeville Mgmtstates that this account was opened in and delinquent in yet I have heard nothing about it until (well beyond the statute of limitations)They also stated that it is tied to an address that I haven’t lived in since and a phone number with an area code for a state where I have not lived since I have never owned this card and I do not owe this money
Very professionalI called about something on my credit that Deville placed on thereIt was a loan that I new I had on a repo vehicle and they gave me a great settlement and offered a deletion that would help my creditProbably the best experience I could have had dealing with a collection agency and i've dealt with a lotThey took the time to explain to me some options and I was able to pick the best route financially for myselfthey even gave me time to speak with my spouse on the matter instead of demanding payment right then and thereI wouldn't recommend anyone let their accounts go into collection but at least there are some good collection agencies out there like this one which makes it a lot less painful to deal with
