My business had a substantial tax debt due to unpaid payroll taxesIt was so bad a revenue officer came to my office and said he was going to shut my business downI own a family run business that has been in my family for over yearsI needed help immediatelyI looked online and found Key Tax GroupI spoke with Shawn and he explained how they could help me outI was able to get a payment plan that kept my business open! If it wasn't for Key Tax Group my family business would have been gone forever! Thank you Key Tax Group! You and your team are amazing! I highly recommend them to anyone!

These folks assured me from the beginning they would be able to effectively represent me in my owing money to the IRS They came through for me, and I no longer have to worry about the IRS taking action against meSpecial thanks to [redacted] and everyone who successfully processed my case!

We had some issues with the client's power of attorney but these were correctedWe did call the IRS to obtain her tax records and we reviewed the tax accountWe mailed in the Form to get a reduced payment plan but the IRS did not review it or respondWe do this because the IRS is charging more money for a change in payment plan if you call them We then called the IRS and got her a payment plan for $per monthwe are in contact with the client and working to resolve her complaintsWe are waiting for her to receive the letter from the IRS accepting her payment plan

We provided the serviceShe hired us to mail in her letter and accompanying documents to the IRSShe had trouble sending them into the IRSI questioned her on this factShe informed me that she knew what she was doingI told her fine we do as she askedShe did not tell us about the other audits or issuesThe IRS again rejected her offerI told her she either needed to get her employer to correct the W-or we needed to submit an 656-LWe did do this for herThey wanted her to have the employer fix itWe told the client we would refund her and the case is proceeding toward a refund

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I was honest about my income, I told you that I was on commission and my year to date was half of what it was the year before when you pull up my bank statements I happen to have a good quarter and that is itIf you had done your job to begin with and didn't drag your feet on what you were supposed to do I would've been able to get the information a lot quickerBut you didn't respond any calls or emails or anything else and you waited over a year when of course I would have a little bit more income because I am commissioned Regards, [redacted] ***

I do not remember how I found KTG but am glad I didMy tax issues have been resolvedI will be free & clear by the end of NovAlthough you are frequently difficult to contact and have bounced me around from lawyer to lawyerYour one shining star has been Ms [redacted] She got ahold of my files (don't know how) and filed all my taxesReducing my bottom line so that I could finish paying my back taxesShe has been available pretty much any time I call/called and answers any stupid question I haveShe has been helpful and professional the entire time I have dealt with herI thank her for everything she has done to resolve my tax issues FNM

We have reviewed this file and was a bit taken backThe reason is this is an active client and we had zero inclination that there were any issuesWe contacted the client and the client apologized and stated that they were withdrawing the complaint as this was sent on errorFrom everything we are seeing the clients are being very well taken care of with their case and seem to be very happyI have seen several communications between them and the case managers this week alonePlease let me know if you need anything else

This clients case is closed and she is very happyWe had to wait for her balances to post before we were able to effect the resolutionHer resolution is in place and client is satisfied

Hello, my name is [redacted] ***At present I live in New York City on a work Visa as my permanent residence is London EnglandWhile working in the US I was unaware of the filing requirements of my personal bank accounts that I have in England with the IRSI later learned that the term is called a Foreign Bank Account Reporting or FBARI received a letter from the IRS February of in reference to my bank accountsThe letter was intimidating to say the leastThe implication that I was unsavory bloke did not sit very well with me and even horrifiedNeedless to say our home became sort of a damp squid after receiving that letter I was referred to [redacted] by another VERY reputable tax company who explained to me that she is the expert in this area of tax law [redacted] was amazing and completely resolved my tax debt! This is one happy chap! [redacted] ***

This client hired our firm to try to get her into a non collectible status and file for an Offer in CompromiseThe financial interview that the client gave over the phone seemed to show that she may qualifyWHat was explained to the client is that there is NO NEGOTIATIONS and that the [redacted] utilizes an algorithm to determine if the client qualifies for CNC or the OICThe client finally submitted all the required financial substantiation for us to mail out the CNC packet which was mailed out on 09/06/The client was agitated that the *** had not responded quicker and we explained that we cannot for ce the [redacted] to move faster their processing of the CNC packeton 11/01/we received a notice from the [redacted] that they are not going to adjust the current installment agreement the client currently hadwe had to conduct an inquiry because the letter did not stipulate why except that they felt that she could well afford the installment agreement amountWe pulled account transcripts and discovered that the clients income was grossly understatedI have included the supporting documents to validate that we did Everything we were hired for and the client is unhappy because she wanted us to make her tax debt go away which we cannot simply doNo company canReductions are based on Income Vs Allowable expenses VS Net AssetsHer annual income on excess of 176K a year is what disallowed her offer or non collectible statusIn the interview she claimed that she only earned $3631/mo or $annuallyIn addition we also further doscovered that the cleint is being investigated for additional unreported income for tax years which we had zero knowledge ofAs far as the state because of this we had to do in installment agreement and we submitted the form the cleint needed to send in to the state as wellI have included the supporting documentsThis case is closed and there is no refund dueif you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to meThank you [redacted] Key Tax Group

Do not work with this groupI paid more that I needed to in order to resolve owed taxes and they took forever to prepare my current taxesIt took them months to work out a payment plan with IRS and because of that I owe moreI could have paid far less and gotten better service somewhere else with out the stress of having to constantly contact them for info

This client hired our firm to conduct an audit reconsiderationthey were audited for the same items for both years disallowed expenses, mileage, and other similar items (part of their expenses are working with local law enforcement in the training of dogs) they also work with the public (kids) with aerospace educationthey did amendments which helped, but they are still not allowing the same itemsthey also have sent the documents multiple times to their auditor, they cant get any feedback or calls backflagged everything they itemized-these items have been on their returns for years.Upon receipt of the 8821s , service agreement and pmt auth form we immediately went to workWe pulled transcripts for the spousefiled a and received a day stay of collectionsWe also sent a request for substantiation documents for the itemized items in dispute along with the husbands so we can pull his transcripts. The issue was that they had us send inthe (power of attorney for the husband) to their accountant whom did no respond to our communications to ensure receiptThe husband called in upset and stated that they were sent to the wrong place even after we verified the locationHe was also upset that we didnt answer a call his wife supposedly made to the office but our phone system had no such record of a callHe then became irateWe sent him a complaint form as standard protocol and explained that we would be more than happy to work with his to resolve any issuesWe left messages for the complaint form and/or documentations that we neededWe also sent a cancellation noticed due to "no response to the complaint form and/or substantiation of documents"/ We are more than willing to work with the client if they would just open up the lines of communication

Now, that was [redacted] that taxes were done for she responded with I am rejecting this response because: I hired [redacted] as an [redacted] to ensure that everything that [redacted] supplied for the tax filings for our customer [redacted] ***They charged [redacted] $2,to do their taxes not mineThe outcome of that was a train wreck with no EIN numbers or even the name of the company so as you might guess that turned into a year long train wreck and a FAT rejection that [redacted] was paid to double check everything and it is obvious that she was clueless the whole time this was going on and never had more that a few minutes with to talk [redacted] did not file any taxes for itself but in fact *** [redacted] Paid an additional $2,For: - 1) Full representation - 2) to ensure that *** [redacted] was in full compliance with the [redacted] with all documents, statements, Invoices ecxc - 3) *** [redacted] .also paid to get a contract written for a simple management agreement that was never completed as of todayI do have saved emails with time stamps and dates for the request of amendments and complete the agreements that were very short the full context of the contract. She has claimed she completed it and sent it to me so if she has that then let her provide that email with times and dates that were before my request or close there after.ABA Model Rule of Professional Conduct 1.5(a) states simply, “A lawyer shall not make an agreement for, charge, or collect an unreasonable fee or an unreasonable amount for expenses.” How do we know when a fee is unreasonable? ABA Model Rule dictates we look at eight factors: the time and labor required, the novelty and difficulty of the questions involved, and the skill requisite to perform the legal service properly; the likelihood, if apparent to the client, that the acceptance of the particular employment will preclude other employment by the lawyer; the fee customarily charged in the locality for similar legal services; the amount involved and the results obtained; the time limitations imposed by the client or by the circumstances; the nature and length of the professional relationship with the client; the experience, reputation, and ability of the lawyer or lawyers performing the services; and whether the fee is fixed or contingentA new proposed version of Rule in my home state, [redacted] , is consistent with peculiar [redacted] case law that holds that a lawyer may only be disciplined for charging a fee that is unconscionable, that is, one “that shocks the conscience.” [redacted] ’s version of reiterates all the factors in the ABA Model Rule—with the exception of the “customarily charged” local fee—and adds four more: the relative sophistication of the client and the [redacted] ; the amount of the fee in proportion to the value of the services provided; the time and labor required; and the informed consent of the client[redacted] (Reference) Regards, [redacted]

We have spoken to the client, and he indicated the only item remaining is the finalization of the AgreementWe were hired to prepare the Agreement between Mr [redacted] and his [redacted] , [redacted] in addition to tax preparation which was also related to this agreement [redacted] had an agreement with Mr [redacted] to manage his shopWe prepared an agreement, which Mr [redacted] did not likeHe sent me a proposed agreement and I redrafted the agreement sending him an email with it on 9/25/I had sent him previous drafts on 9/16/and 9/25/I had several conversation with both Mr [redacted] and his [redacted] The purpose of the agreement was to formalize an existing contractual relationshipThe time to complete the contract, including numerous consultations and preparation, was about hoursThis was because we had to discuss the contract with both parties, and Mr [redacted] did not like the first drafts of my proposed agreement Mr [redacted] 's [redacted] , [redacted] , had received management income from the contract and he needed to redo his taxes a result to correct his incomeWe also prepared all of those returnsThis was extremely time consumingSome of the returns were amendments so we needed copies of the tax returns and profit and loss statementsAfter numerous hours working on these items, we were able to finish the returns and they were filed and processedI assumed when I sent my last draft of the management contract that he was satisfied with the agreementI have told him I would work with him to rectify this situationHe needs to let me know how he wants to proceed

My wife succumbed to cancer in and my world endedI quit my job and fell into a deep state of depressionI created a tax debt from a 401K I had to use while reconciling with the death of the love of my lifeI slowly came out of my depression after months and resumed working only to have the IRS after me for a small tax debt of just $5,To make matters worse I was insulted by the person at the IRS I called for helpI overheard her telling a co worker that I needed to learn to "get over it" referring to my wifes passingI was heartbrokenI decided to call for help and found Key Tax GroupThey contacted the IRS and was able to help me get this debt into an affordable payment planThank you Key Tax Group for helping me during one of the hardest times of my lifeGod bless you all!!

Talk about being able to help you out in a pinch! I walked in to work on Friday February 21st, 2014 only to find a note on my desk asking me to see the HR department. I was notified that my paycheck was going to be garnished and I was only going to be left with $375 bi weekly. I am a grown man but I almost cried. I am married and have three small children. My wife is a stay at home mom who home schools our children. I knew I had owed but I didnt think they were going to be this aggressive. My employer also stated that they were unable to do anything unless they received a letter from the IRS. This was the worst news. Im not a wealthy man by any means. I am a normal, blue collar worker who has bills and responsibilities that arrive each month like clockwork. This was going to make me and my family homeless. I called the IRS immediately and they said they would even talk to me unless I filed a missing tax year then told me it would take 6-8 weeks before they could help me. I was infuriated to say the least. So I went online and searched. I came across a lot of companies that could have helped me but they all wanted thousands of dollars to start which I did not have. The 4th call was the "Ringer". I finally called and spoke to Key Tax Group. I spoke with a gentleman named [redacted] who really took the time to speak to me. What I appreciated most about him was that he cared and understood what I was going through. He also said that Key Tax Group was designed for clients like me, blue collar, hard working, everyday family people. Key Tax Group didnt require me to have a huge down payment to get started. They worked with me. All this took place on a Friday. After speaking to [redacted] he had me speak to [redacted] who explained that she could help me immediately. I was faxed over all the documents I needed to sign and by Tuesday the very next week they had 1) contacted the IRS 2) Filed my missing return 3) removed my wage levy and 4) put me in a payment plan that I could easily afford. My next paycheck the next Friday was back to normal. I am telling you if you owe the IRS CALL KEY TAX GROUP TODAY!!! They are great! Thank you [redacted] and ***!
