I have a chevy HD truckBrought to legacy because the truck was pulling, steering wheel off center, and vibrationsThey said needed an alignment and wheel balanceHad it doneStill have issueWent back said it was and could not duplicateWent to another alignment shop; they stated alignment was off and steering gear box was looseWent back to legacy, told them still having issue and what the other shop statedLegacy checked again and said alignment was off and the gear box was fineStated steering wheel off center because of road crown and mudWhich is BSBut anyway left and went to another alignment shopStill same issueGot tires balanced properly but still pull and steering off centerWent to Legacy for oil change service, they rotated tires and vehicle began sharp pull and vibrationsTechnician took truck for ride and I went alongTechnician verifiedAfter hours of waiting for them to determine what the problem was, they cam back and stated the steering gear box was loose(sounds familiar from months earlier when I reported this issue to them)WEll they ordered the steering gear boxI dropped the truck off last night for it to be worked on todayNow today, have not heard anything or any updates on my truckI know the job should only take maybe 4- hours at the extreme most to replace the steering gear boxBut when I called, no one could or would give me an updateAsked to speak to the rep that helped and the answer was he is not hereAsked to speak to manager and he was not there because he was on vacationAsked to speak to the one who is in place of manager and they stated it is the one Rep I asked for earlierAsked if they could give me update and they could notLeft message for return callNo callI returned call and the same run aroundCalled again, then hung up onCalled again and then finally told the ruck has not been touched all day and it would not be finishedAsked why, and they stated other vehicles had to be completedUNBELIEVEABLEI have been having this issue for MONTHSAND THEY Put other vehicles in front of my truckStill have not received call yetUNBELIEVABLE HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Didn't diagnose the problem correctly the 1st, 2nd or 3rd timeI told them the correct problem but they denyFinally they conclude the correct problem and then don't fix it in a timely manner PEOPLE DO WORK AND HAVE TO TAKE OFF WORK TO ACCOMPLISH THESE MATTERSYou have wasted my time, vacation hours, and work hours If there was another service location within the immediate area, I would not come to this place, but maybe that is why they are so horrible because they know this is the only location available Legacy Chevrolet you should be ashamed of your service department!!!! Treating any customer this way is horrible

We obtained a 30-day payoff when customer originally traded in their Suburu We became aware that the vehicle did not get paid off in a timely fashion on 4/27/ It was paid immediately, along with all late fees, when accounting was notified and FedEx over-nighted to Chase We apologize that this error occurred and have made the necessary changes to insure it doesn’t happen again

As per this complaint our position has not changedIt is still the position of Legacy Chevrolet that we deny any conversation taking place between this customer and Mr [redacted] of repurchasing said vehicleHowever we as a dealership are willing to trade this customer out of his current vehicle into a vehicle of his choosingAssuming that all lending requirements can be meet and figures agreed upon by both parties

Our apologies, this was an accounting error Ms [redacted] trade in lien has been satisfied via FedEx overnight and her payments have been refunded

It is not Legacy Chevrolets practice to run credit on anyone that has not signed a credit applicationThere is a signed credit application on file for Mr [redacted] General Motors sets the pricing for military personnel at supplier pricing on all new Chevrolets with a reduced doc fee, this is the price that was extended to Mr [redacted] Unfortunately we were to far apart from what he wanted to pay for the vehicle versus the supplier pricing provided by General Motors Thank you, Legacy Automotive

As stated previously it is not in Legacy Chevrolets practice to pull credit on anyone who does not authorize it to be doneMr [redacted] signed a credit application that clearly states on the document it is an application for credit By signing this document it is an authorization for Legacy Chevrolet to pull credit on this customer Legacy Chevrolet

I remember this customer but did not talk to him personally But, customer originally came in and ask Carson to replace his coils on the engine (all of them) because he replaced one then another went out and he did not want that to happen againThen he came back and one of his injectors that spray fuel in to engine went badThen he came back a 3rd time with another injector badWe recommended replacing all injectors just like the coils but he declinedFor the record coils and injectors can go bad at anytimeHe really didn’t need to replace all the coils but he insistedSame with the injectors, unlikely they all go bad at once, but he would have be covered They do work together in a way that coils fire spark plugs and injectors spray fuel into the cylinders to give combustionSo in turn vehicle computer can give same codes because each of the cylinders are not firing correctlyVehicle will run very poorlyI do feel bad he is having issues but I don’t feel we missed diagnosed his complaints We only want to repair the problem that the computer is giving us codesThe computer will tell us what cylinders are miss firingWe do not want to throw parts at a vehicle or sell the customers unneeded repairs Thank you ***

Legacy Chevrolet did repair the customer's drivers seat We also repaired her complaint of a leaking sunroof We did around $in repairs on September 13, on repair order number [redacted] Ms [redacted] purchased a powertrain warranty and was given everything the warranty covered at the time of purchase In good faith Legacy Chevrolet will give Ms [redacted] a 10% discount on the repair to her gear shift if she would like Legacy Chevrolet to repair it for her Ms [redacted] purchased a Lincoln with 67,on it Legacy Chevrolet can not be responsible for everything that goes wrong with the vehicle [redacted]

On July 8th, we sent via certified mail a letter stating that the late payments on the customers' accounts were due to a clerical error on our part and should not be reflected in their credit score The customer will be responsible for sending copies of the letter to the respective agencies affected since we are bound by law regarding disclosure of personal information obtained in the process of doing business

Legacy Chevrolet told Mr [redacted] we would accept the car he purchased as a trade in on another vehicle from Legacy's inventory Legacy is willing to give Mr [redacted] his purchase price as the trade in value Mr [redacted] will have to be approved by a lender on the new vehicle he purchases Legacy will have to take another credit application from Mr [redacted] and work up a new deal Mr [redacted] was unwilling to give the salesperson the information he needed in order to get another deal approved Mr [redacted] can call the sales manager [redacted] at Legacy Chevrolet for any details

By General Motor's warranty guidelines the battery must be tested in the vehicleLegacy can't control GM's policyThey will not let Legacy warranty any part brought in by hand that is electricalBut, when the warranty is applied both part and labor is coveredWe must use the GM supplied testers to give read outs for electrical partsIf the customer can't drive the vehicle then she must have it towed to the dealership in which GM will not cover any of those cost!!! Legacy can not reduce a customer's car payment once they purchase a different car The customer's request is not possible If the customer no longer owns the vehicle her complaint is concerning Legacy can't do anything at this point to satisfy the customer

The owner of Legacy Chevrolet has authorized a reimbursement check cut to Mr [redacted] in the amount of $for labor charges The check is going on the mail August 6th Thank you, [redacted] Controller

CUSTOMER CAME TO OUR DEALERSHIP AND WE LOANED HER A CAR AND THE SUNROOF NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AND SHE SAID SHE SAID THAT SHE WOULD HAVE HER INSURANCE COMPANY WOULD DO THE REPAIRS AND FOUND OUT THAT THEY WOULD NOT COVER THIS REPAIR , SO SHE RETURNED TO THE DEALERSHIP UNHAPPY AND WE GAVE HER A REFUND ON THE MONEY SHE HAD SPENT WITH US AND SHE IS STILL NOT HAPPY , SHE DID NOT PURCHASE HER VEHICAL AT LEGACY CHEVY CADILLAC , TY ! Tell us why here Unfortunately, it is not possible for Legacy Automotive to pursue credit agencies on a customer’s behalf We would have to provide Private, Personal and Safeguard Protected information which Federal and State law prohibits us from doing We would be happy to draft a letter to the customer, explaining our error, that the customer could use to pursue this matter

I did not receive a full refund for the repairs that I paid forI paid for a wrong repair, and they refunded me $for thatI paid for repairs they didn't doMy sunroof is still leaking, so I am tasked to take it someplace else for the necessary repairs, and would have to pay again for something they failed to doI did not purchase my vehicle from Legacy, but because they are a local Cadillac dealership, I took it there for the "quality" repair I would expect from a dealershipMy experience has been far from acceptable, and I do expect a favorable resolution, which I have been seeking for several weeks now
