I applied for a personal loan with Lending Club last week and I got a very quick responseThe online application was short and simple and I didnt even have to speak to anyoneThey email you all your communication and they truly do HELP! I got an email requesting just a couple of documents such as recent paystubs and W-and THATS IT! No other financials were requestedThe truth is if your FICO is 600+ you have no reason to be deniedThey are very open about this I just checked my bank account today and my personal loan of $16,was just credited to my account! I am so happy now I will be able to pay off my credit cards all which have a seperate high interest rate and focus on monthly installmentWhats best is I know when I will pay this off because I chose the length which is only years and then I am debt free!! Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: If you look at our credit bureau reports we have not missed/paid late a payment in yearsI had to resign from a position as it was ruining me physically and in my profession (nursing), you cannot work if you are incapacitatedThe person running the facility ended up loosing their jobI contacted Lending Club, as I did our mortgage company, and explained to them that I was unable to make the payments until I started my new job and had income coming in againI could not make the payments in September or OctoberI notified Lending Club in November and told them I could make the payments again and they informed me that they turned us over to collections per their company policy and I was unable to make a paymentI missed a payment for two months, days, their policy is days for a charge offI informed them in September that I wouldn't be able to make a payment until I started my new job, and I contacted them again in October as wellI have all the emails to prove my correspondence but I do not want to make them public, but I will if I have toI want to pay the balance of our loan, within months, as it stands $30,702.99, with nothing extra added onI'd like them to take their negative postings off the credit bureaus as wellMy next step, is making the emails public, and contacting all the credit bureaus, including [redacted] for fraudulent lending practicesI am now in the process of posting in [redacted] and any other public search engine about their modern day loan sharking money lending practicesWith extensive research, I've uncovered that, unlike any other lender, if you try to pay off your loan early to avoid exorbitant interest, you can'tMy husband lost his occupation in and we fought hard to save everything we'd worked a couple decades for, we have a beautiful family, and we just want live a healthy, fulfilling lifeSincerely, [redacted]
