Can't Understand Foreign Customer Service
I know when I signed up for Lifelock, I didn't have to speak with someone who could barely speak English. Now every time I call, they can't understand me and I can't understand them. Due to all of the customer service being in the Philippines, I have cancelled my subscription and will move to someone based in the USA that I cant understand.

Horrible Customer Service
1/ you cannot reach anyone in the United States;
2/ after my father died they did not refund the balance;
3/ their customer service representative told me I did not have an account with them despite my payment of $400+ AND notifications of ‘time for renewal’, including an automated call from LifeLock

Is LifeLock, since becoming a part of Norton, now just a scam?

I received an e-mail from Lifelock on April 15,titled Lifelock Notification : Black Market website activityThe e-mail advised me to log in to my account and look at the notificationI didThe notification was dated August 22,I am receiving this on April 16,months laterThe notification informs me "LifeLock detected a piece of your personal information being sold online" It then asks me to "Carefully review the REPORT on this pagePay particular attention to matches on your Social Security number, credit card or bank account numbers and PINsA match or partial match may indicate that your personal information is being sold online." There was no report on the pageSo I called Lifelock on April 15,I spent minutes on the phone talking to the Lifelock representativeShe repeatedly put me on hold going back and forthI had three concerns: 1- Why did I receive this notification e-mail months after the fact ? 2- Where is the report mentioned in the notification in my :Manage Alerts section Lifelock refers to ?, and 3- Do I have a problem with my identity being compromisedThe representative did not know and could not answer any of these questionsI asked for this to be escalatedShe did notI suggested she talk to her Information Technology groupShe said they were not involvedShe asked me for the last four digits of any credit card I could remember ? I gave her those numbers of the ones in my walletI asked would I get a phone call resolving this matter ? She said that or an e-mailI asked by when ? She said hoursI informed the representative that this was serious enough to warrant a phone callIt has been almost hoursThere has been no phone call, no e-mail and nothing on my account as an updateIs Lifelock negligent or is their product a fraud ? I don't know, but I am worried about my account and Lifelock has very poor customer service

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Bottom line, LifeLock scammed by brother, who was disabled I am positive they led him to believe that he was "completely covered" from any attempts to invade his accounts, which gave him a sense of securityBecause he was disabled he was naive about what this type of company is selling - promises about what they are going to actually do, which is nothing They took his limited amount of money and did nothing for him Unless they are willing to take some responsibility for their bad business practices, and in good faith, refund the money that was stolen from my brother under their watch, I will never call this complaint resolved I will also make it my mission to file as many complaints about this company with any and all consumer reporting agencies so, hopefully, this will not happen to another family I will also email every single celebrity who do commercials for this company with my storyThey must be stopped Regards, [redacted]

When my Annual renewal came up Jan of 2015, my credit card had expired I renewed using my new card and paid in full for the entire year Lifelock continued to call and e-mail me telling me that I had not paid I called and tried to work with Supervisors who assured me that I was paid in full but the system just canceled me and get this the system refunded me the balance of my paid subscription When I called Lifelock, they still could not correct their problem with their billing system After demanding a refund for the full amount paid if they were just going to cancel me Lifelock didn't even attempt to retain me as a customer but refunded my money and told me to have a nice weekend I am glad that Lifelock has so many customers that they can feel the need to treat me like they did I was a paying customer that Lifelock didn't seem to want Unreal!

I am a life lock member and have registered my credit cards as they clearly advertise you will be alerted of any suspicious activity with your credit accountsAlso any search of credit triggers an alert as does any changes in address etc since joining I have financed a new vehicle, had a thief add the self to my credit card (registered with ll) the thief then several days later reported my card lost or stolen and started anew joint account with myself, changing the address from [redacted] to ***, changed the phone number and the email addressMy account of course was maxed out at $12,After weeks of misery with [redacted] who transferred my balance to three new accounts for some unknown reason and opening a new [redacted] account because I am done with [redacted] you would think I would have had an alert from LIfelock would you not? NOT ONE ALERTThis is a scamI spoke to a supervisor who told me "we can't keep track of everything" I now have [redacted] and they alert me when my balance increases on my credit cards and I did not register any cards with them! They alerted me when I opened new [redacted] accountI know a lot of people who are depending on LIfelock to alert them for fraudulent activityNOT HAPPENINGI am thinking about getting my consumer person at local television station involved in an investigation

I have been trying to call LifeLock to cancel my membership with them and all the numbers they gave me do not work, a recording comes on saying that these numbers are not in serviceI am very tired of trying to reach out to them, I have emailed then asking them to cancel my membership and I have not heard from them regarding this request Now I am going to write them a letter to see if they will cancel my membership, which is all I want from them

Approximately months ago I contracted with Lifelock for the purpose of registering my bank accounts for ID theft protectionAlthough the monetary cost is not important, the promise that Lifelock made was not forthcoming For the last months I have been unable to connect with my [redacted] account When I called for support, I was told that they could not help me It just seems to me that if a product is offered for a price and that product is not provided then I should not have been charged $per year I cancelled the contract, but the Lifelock support team suggested that I delete this account and re-establish the accountThe support person: Leo stated they are refunding a pro-rated amount which, to me is not satisfactory for meThis service is not what it advertises

After years of Lifelock service, I've cancelled my subscription owing to the company's utter indifference to its customersYou have to phone Lifelock to get any response but the "average" wait time, by its own admission is minutes or moreThe automated phone response is equally bad: it does not work and you are left listening to a Lifelock commercial for an hour Successful marketing and outright dishonesty has made Lifelock too big to care for its customers Hopefully a competitor will soon provide the services Lifelock pretends to offer
