I am just updating Revdex.com on my above complaint.  I spoke with one of the founders of Live Body Coach ([redacted]) and he informed me that all monies would be refunded to me by Wednesday April 9, 2014.   To this date,  I HAVE NOT been refunded the monies promised me.  I know that the Revdex.com has this case closed now, but it has not been resolved as of yet.    I will keep you informed if and when I do receive the monies but with my prior experiences with Live Body Coach, I am not confident they will do what they say.  I appreciate everything that the Revdex.com has done to remedy this situation.  I am very grateful.  

 

Again, even though they say they have refunded the monies, I have received nothing.

The initial conversation was very inspiring..but the program is expensive. We initially wanted a payment plan. Thankfully our credit card red-flagged the purchase, asking for our approval. We were not getting a good feeling about moving forward due to their hardcore sales tactics and pitches. So, we received a call the next day from the same salesperson and backed out of the program altogether. Two weeks later, the salesperson attempted to charge our credit card anyway, despite our denial of services. The "supervisor" called and tried to pit us into a corner of having committed to the program by saying that he had us recorded as saying that we committed to the program. I told him due to our credit card issue, we denied the services of the program. The supervisor used a tactic of saying, "you mean to tell me that I'm going to have to call the police and have my salesman arrested for fraud b/c he's charged your card?" I told him that their services had been denied and there should be nothing charged to the card, and if there was, they have a greater issue than my sale. ** This company is as slimy as any scam you would run into. Their tactics take them up to the edge of the law just before breaking it, then they back off. They will scam you if you cave in. They should NOT be trusted.**

As many other reviewers have stated, DO NOT trust this company. I ordered supplements online and a few days later received a phone call from Live Body Coach. I was told that their services were complimentary with the purchase of the supplements. I didn't believe them as the person on the line sounded very much like a sales person, not at all professional. I told them I was not interested in their services. That was 8 months ago and they have been billing my credit card 19.95/month ever since. I have called multiple times to cancel my membership, have been assured that it is canceled, but then find out the following month that I have been billed again. Several times I have called and asked to speak with a supervisor. The standard response is, "all supervisors are busy speaking to other customers but I will put your name on a call back list and you should receive a call from a supervisor within 24 hours." 24 hours comes and goes and no one calls. I forget about it (again) until the next month when the charge appears. Today I set aside time to call and wait on the line to speak with a supervisor. I was told that I could not hold for a supervisor and given the standard spiel again about all the supervisors being busy with other customers. I told them I was not hanging up until I could speak with a supervisor and they hung up on me. This happened 3 times. I do not expect that I will be receiving a call from a supervisor nor do I expect that they will finally cancel my "membership" as they keep claiming they will. I finally contacted my bank today so that they can block future charges. I obviously should have done that in the first place. You cannot trust this company at all. If you see a charge from them appear on your account, contact your back and have any future charges blocked immediately.

I "supposedly" am an active member of this live body coach, never have a signed up for it. Never have I spoken to any trainers, I was not even aware that I got this free trial. But somehow they charge you 20 dollars because you're still active? The worst, they cannot refund you for some reason. Seriously the worst!
