Loan sharking at its finestEmployees or better yet "sales" people will tell you the loan terms and say 135% like it means nothing!
I chose not to do business with this evil company and you should tooadvertising

I have been receiving harassing calls from Loan Me on my job The federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) limits where and when debt collectors can contact consumer debtorsIn many cases, debt collectors that contact debtors at work are violating the FDCPARead on to learn what types of work collection calls are prohibited by the FDCPAAnother section of the FDCPA expressly prohibits collectors for contacting debtors at work if the collector knows, or has reason to know, that the employer prohibits such communicationsMany employers have policies that prohibit employees from taking or making nonemergency calls for personal business, which would preclude an employee from taking a collection call Loan Me has been notified by myself on harassing calls at work This type of behavior may result in an employee from being terminated from employment if violations are not eliminated completely I wish that they get in contact with me either by email, US Postal Mail or person

Extremely high interest rate of % which means your balance actually INCREASES with each payment Very difficult to pay down No email confirmation of payments made to pay off loan Quick funding, but try to avoid if at all possible

I had a loan with LoanMe I was able to pay the loan off in less than months, but because of their extremely high interest, I actually paid twice then necessary That was ok, I knew what I was getting intoand it was an emergency Well, let me tell you, I was never late with a payment, yet they still called me days before it was due to make sure I would have the payment What kind of crap is that? It was horrible I will never do busy with them again, and neither should anyone else They should be run out of business Charging people 135% interest! CRAZY!!!!!

I borrowed $2,to help pay for the monthly bill for a care facility for my dadI have been paying on this loan for almost years now and now I owe almost $3,+I fail to see how this corporation has a A+ Revdex.com rating when they only have positive reviews with negative reviews and soon to be with mineI cant afford to pay this loan anymore being that I am now on medical disability for end stage renal failure and on dialysisThis is obviously a predatory loan company and takes advantage of people's desperate situationsThey should be ashamed of them selves and need to be shut down!!!!! Their customer service people lie to youI had to make a payment arrangement twice with them, The first person I spoke to said if I could pay atleast half then it could be worked outThen when a second person was put on the phone to do the approval and they ask you what your monthly expenses are to determine if you will qualify and then asked to have the full payment paid for in payments before the end of the monthI am going to call them and tell them I am not paying them one more cent and that they can put me in collectionsCome on Revdex.com shut these crooks down!!!!

If I could give them negative stars I wouldI too, like many was in a jam and made a HUGE mistake in using this companyI initially planned on paying it back within a few months but ended up having a double surgery on my arm and loosing my jobI am still off from the surgery months later and on temporary disability, which is $less than what I was makingI tried to make arrangements with them and even with the arrangements and being told I would not be charged late fee's by more than one agent there I still am being charged, I called an asked for a Hardship exception and offered them all of my tax refund as a pay offIt was far less than the $2,I owe after paying in $of $borrowed but would have paid back the amount I was givenThis bill is my highest bill and I did not want it to go on my credit report as a negative or have them take it to court and end up wit an even higher amount since the small print in their contract states they do not notify you of court proceedingsThey did not accept my settlement offer but said they would take $which was back to the owing amount with only $taken offNo break at all when I was honestly trying to work with themOH and by the if anyone does a loan with them in case you were not aware you can email them and revoke their right to use EFT to take payments out of your bank account, I was being charged overdraft fee's when I did not have the money to begin with for the current payment or even when you make a payment early they will still draft another payment from your accountAll VERY shady and I wish I would had done more research before making the HUGE mistake of dealing with the, Contacting the State Attorney General does sound like a good step to take!

LoanMe, Inc., (“LoanMe”) is in receipt of our customer’s above-referenced complaint, and we welcome this opportunity to respond to help clarify and resolve the matter. Please allow this to serve as our formal response LoanMe’s records indicate that our customer agreed to an unsecured
consumer installment loan on December 4, 2015, in the amount of $5,minus a $pre-paid finance charge/origination fee. Our customer was not pressured or coerced to take the loan During the application process on December 4, 2015, the loan agent informed our customer of the interest rate on the loan, the loan’s Annual Percentage Rate (“APR”), the monthly payment amount of the loan, the origination fee, the number of payments required on the loan if paid as scheduled, and that the loan did not have a pre-payment penalty. LoanMe conducted a “welcome call” after the loan was funded later that day, at which time the terms of the loan were explained once again, and our customer indicated she did not have any questions or concerns In compliance with the Truth in Lending Act (“TILA”), LoanMe’s Promissory Note and Disclosure Statement (“Note”) properly displayed the loan terms and provided the required disclosures, including the interest rate, the APR, the Finance Charge, the Total of Payments, and the repayment schedule of monthsIn addition, the terms of the Note stated that interest is calculated on a 360/simple interest basisThe Note also indicated that the loan could be paid in part or full at any time without incurring a prepayment penalty. The Note our customer executed also stated that, “THIS LOAN CARRIES A VERY HIGH INTEREST RATEYOU MAY BE ABLE TO OBTAIN CREDIT UNDER MORE FAVORABLE TERMS ELSEWHERE. EVEN THOUGH THE TERM OF THE LOAN IS MONTHS, WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO PAY OFF THE LOAN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO PAY OFF ALL OR ANY PORTION OF THE LOAN AT ANY TIME WITHOUT INCURRING ANY PENALTY. YOU WILL, HOWEVER BE REQUIRED TO PAY ANY AND ALL INTEREST THAT HAS ACCRUED FROM THE FUNDING DATE UNTIL THE PAYOFF DATE.” By signing the Note, our customer certified that she understood and agreed to be bound by its terms Contrary to our customer’s statement that LoanMe’s interest rates are usurious, LoanMe is exempt from the usury provisions under the California ConstitutionThe terms of our customer’s unsecured consumer installment loan are legal, including the interest rate and APR, and the loan was made in accordance with LoanMe’s Finance Lender License issued by the State of California Department of Business Oversight (License #*** ***) We thank you for this opportunity to respond, and hope that we have helped to clarify the matter for our customer. LoanMe,
Inc(“LoanMe”) is in receipt of the above referenced complaint, and we welcome
this opportunity to respond to help clarify and resolve the matter further
Please allow this to serve as our formal response
We
have reviewed the customer’s complaint, as well as our records and telephone
conversations (all of which are recorded), including call attempts placed by
LoanMe, Inc(“LoanMe”) in an effort to reach our customer. Based on our research we have determined that,
during a conversation that took place on July 6, 2017, our customer was advised
that the payment due on her account on June 1, was past dueAt that time
our customer was more than days delinquent on the account, which resulted in
the account being reported to the credit reporting agency
During the same conversation, our customer was
offered a settlement arrangement. She was
informed per the settlement arrangement, if paid as required, LoanMe would
report the account as “Settled” to the credit-reporting agency and forgive the
remaining amount of debtPer the original conversation to set up the
arrangement, making all of the required payments would result in “Settled in
Full” on the credit report. If the
customer would like to call in, we would be happy to play the phone recording
to clear up any misunderstandings
One
of the permissible purposes allowed as stated under the Fair Credit Reporting
Act (FCRA) is for the “review or collection of an account of the consumer”Due
to LoanMe having an existing account relationship between LoanMe and our customer,
LoanMe had permissible purpose to review our customer’s credit report to
research and respond to our customer’s complaint
We
have confirmed however, that when researching the original Revdex.com complaint from
this customer, instead of ordering the typical “bullseye” report usually used for
research, the representative mistakenly ordered a regular credit report that
generated an inquiry. The representative
recognized the error immediately, and sent the correction to the credit
reporting agencyLoanMe submitted a request for the credit report to be
corrected as required by the FCRA, and the inquiry is in the process of being
removed by the credit reporting agencyThis may take up to days to reflect
on the customer’s credit report, while the credit reporting agency processes
the requestWe want to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have
caused our customer
In
closing, we would like to thank you for this opportunity to respond, and hope
that we have helped to clarify the matter for our customer. If our customer has additional questions or
concerns, she may contact LoanMe directly at 844-764-

This "financial" company preys on the poor and desperateSomeone in my household got a loan for $5,over months ago after viewing their commercial online and needing to pay off another billThey paid $495/month for over 17+ months and when we finally called to ask for the pay off we were told that it was over $5,000!!! After making payments, at that time we were informed that the loan held a 110% interest rateI understand that they signed it without reading fully but that is my point! This company preys on the desperate and it's practices are so shady
I wanted to share my experience and expose companies like this

LoanMe is knowingly reporting information to Experian This account is not mine and they have failed to validate it as such
After pulling my own credit Reports in August 2017, I noticed that LoanMe is reporting an ERRONEOUS, INVALID, and UNVERIFIED account to Experian which has caused a highly negative impact on my personal credit report
I spoke with them on the phone, and I faxed them
When I spoke to them on the phone, they said they had sold the loan to a collection agency and that I would need to speak to them, but they still didn't remove LoanMe's invalid, adverse loan account from my credit report
When they received my fax, they responded via email twice In both email responses, they failed to provide me with competent evidence that I have any legal the obligation to pay them, and they also failed to completely remove the invalid account and send me written confirmation of the removal All actions are clear violations of the FCRA
The account

I took out a personal loan with the Loan Me company I understand that these loans are designed to help someone with an immediate need for cash, and not to be paid out over a full term of the contract I borrowed 5100.00, and the payments I have made have reduced the principal by pennies Again, I understand this However, in obtaining payoff figures today, the payoff is a few hundred dollars higher than the principal balance of course they are saying this is daily interest I asked the customer service representative how would one ever be able to pay off a loan if not able to early into the loan and was told that was "virtually impossible"I then asked if could I negotiate the payoff to the "principal balance" as shown on my amortization schedule They transferred me to a "payment specialist' who checked with a manager, and yes , of course they would negotiate the payment to the principal balanceBUT, this would be a negative on my credit report! My loan paperwork spec
