Review: Car loan with company since 3/2014. On 11/17 called customer service to make a regular payment and a payment to the principal balance. The rep I spoke to instructed me to send a fax with my request and I did. Called back the next day to confirm everything was well, it was confirmed. Rep gave me payoff amount of 1168.00 On December 1st, received a phone call that the payment had not been done to principal balance as I had not made two separate payments. Instead my regular payment was being payed through January. He told me there was nothing I could do to fix the problem. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he told me there was nothing to do and offered to send a statement showing me it was "basically" the same thing money-wise. I have not received any statement. I have been calling since then, given different extensions and nobody is ever available. Spoke to [redacted] on 12/14 who told me my loan had interest added at the beginning of the loan, so paying principal payments did not matter as the interest was already added. However, I called today and was given a pay off amount of $1210.99. If interest is not being added, why does the payoff keep going up? They are very unprofessional, never solve your issues, and do not send the paperwork that is requested of them.Desired Settlement: They need to credit the payment I made to principal to the principal balance of the loan and adjust my pay-off amount. Otherwise, they need to send the statement they've promised to send THREE times proving that the interest was already added and making a principal payment would not make a difference.

Hello,Please find the company’s initial response to complaint ID# [redacted] below: Management has reviewed the customer’s complaint in detail. As is standard on simple interest loans, upon receipt of a payment, our office will first apply any interest and outstanding fees (if applicable). Any and all amounts remaining are then automatically applied to reduce the principal balance. For billing and statement purposes, any amounts received in excess of the regular monthly payment are applied as a credit towards the next monthly payment(s). This results in an adjusted or lower current amount due on their statment for the next scheduled payment. As long as the customer continues to pay the regular monthly amount, any additional funds are automatically applied to their principalbalance. If a customer ignores the adjusted amount due and pays the full monthly payment (or more) they will receive the benefit of paying down/towards their principal. However, if the customer chooses to pay only the adjusted current due, they will lose the savings on the principal. While our office only reflects one request from the customer for a copy of the application of her payments, which was sent on 12-11-2015, we are happy to generate an additional copy should the customer require it. The customer has since paid the loan in full and the title was released/mailed on 1-19-2016. Thank you!
This business is harassing me. I knew I wasn't going to be able to make a payment one month so asked for a deferment and they wanted me to pay 55 to get the deferment. That's defeating the purpose of the request I told them. So yes I was late in paying things happened and missed the next payment as well. My son caught me up right before the next payment was due. My payment is due on the 1st of each month, On the 2nd they started calling me saying I was late and I have a 10 day grace period so I asked them why they were calling me I was only a day late. They have called every day Monday thru Friday since the 1st!!! Then one person said my late fee was 25 and the paperwork says 15 or 5% whichever is smaller so that's the 15. They like to try to rip people off it seems. They not getting any of that from me!!! Will report for harassing!!!!
Review: I once had a vehicle financed though Lobel Financial back in 2010 my payment history was horrible, I am now trying to clean up my credit report, I called Lobel on this day February 3rd 2016 spoke to an CSR which was rude, I started to tell her about my situation and without asking me for any type of information about my account, she just proceeded to flat out say they do not EVER work that way it stays on a report FOREVER. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said I would get the same results. That is really bad customer service not to even offer any solution, I feel life I have a life sentence for my poor choices, I don't owe Lobel any money. In my defense all I can do is apologize to Lobel Financial. So Lobel Financial I am sorry for my poor payment history with you and ask that you help me in trying to make things right in my life. I won't be in this world forever so you may want to educate your CSR's that using that word properly.Desired Settlement: I ask that you consider removing yourself from my credit report so I can move forward in life, this doesn't hurt you in any way personally or as a company Thank you in advance!

To Whom It May Concern, Please see below for our response to complaint id [redacted]: We are unable to reference an account with the information provided. Please provide additional identifying information such as the Lobel Financial account number, the customer’s social security number and/or original address as provided to Lobel at the time of the loan’s inception and we would be happy to review the customer’s account and said request.
Their customer service is so terrible, it's astounding! EVERYONE I encountered over the phone is EXTREMELY RUDE and unapologetic. Not only are they rude, there is no continuity within departments!!! When I attempted to pay my vehicle off, I was told I could not do it with my debit card. I was then disconnected. When I finally reached someone, I was told that I could do it with my debit card. Then I was disconnected again and told I couldn't. I was quoted three different amounts within those three phone calls. I paid my vehicle off, and then one week later I was told that I still had a balance (I was not aware of this balance until I inquired about my title which they have yet to send me). I was told the balance was for interest, which made no sense. If you pay your vehicle off, your payoff amount should include the interest(which is what I was told when they quoted me my payoff) !! I have made several attempts to speak with someone in management. I am constantly being told that members of management are in meetings (that seem to last indefinitely) and I cannot speak to anyone. I keep getting told that I will get calls back from them and I NEVER DO!! When I asked why I didn't get a call back, the girl snapped "If we don't have any new information, why would we give you a call back?" ....because it's good customer service, DUH!!! These people are so incompetent it should be illegal!! I have never been so frustrated in my LIFE!
Rude customer service, hung up on me, then gave me the number of the company that towed my car, I called them, they have no idea who I am or Lobel is, so now I can't get my car back. Thank goodness I didn't western union the $1500 they were requiring, before I called them! They are con artists!!!

Lobel Financial utilizes the services of a third party vendor to process and update insurance coverage. As we do not physically receive any paperwork we can only supply information to our customers as provided by our vendor. As a courtesy we have contacted [redacted] directly at ###-###-#### and obtained all necessary documentation. The customer’s account has been adjusted to reflect coverage valid from 11-11-13 through 9-23-14. To ensure the policy did in fact renew and confirm that our collateral has the required coverage, the customer will need to provide a renewal declaration in September.
Review: I purchased a car in Sacramento, CA. The car dealer acknowledged the car had unreasonable defects, cancelled the contract, charged me for the mileage, made a written agreement to refund my deposit, minus deductions, cancelled my car buyer's agreement (via written contract), stated they would return the check sent via Lobel Financial for purchase of the vehicle. The car dealership honored the agreement, returned the Loan check in full to Lobel Financial (prior to my first initial payment being due to Lobel Financial). I contacted Lobel Financial in March of 2015, they stated the car loan was paid in full. I proceeded to get a loan and was told that Lobel Financial had a repossession on my credit, I contacted them, Lobel Financial stated that they had not placed a repossession on my credit report, and assured me that my account was noted, "Loan Paid off in Full". I have contacted them on May 6, 7, 8th 2015 on numerous occasions and request they remove the repossession off of my credit. They will not comply. I have been re-building my credit since 2014, my FICO score has declined by over 100 points due to the repossession reported on my credit profile, I spoke with Laura again on today 5/11/2015, she stated she cannot remove it from my credit profile without the dealerships permission. [redacted] and his wife the owners of the dealership has stated to me they did not report the car as a repossession and they informed Lobel that the car had problems at the time of returning the loan check to Lobel Financial. They also stated they are dealing with Lobel Financial with another client pertaining to Lobel financial wrongdoing. I informed Lobel that this is a case of fraud, they are trying to collect on my car loan twice, by receiving the Loan check in full and placing a repossession on my credit in order to collect again. I have left messages on the voicemail of Supervisor [redacted] beginning May 6 - May 11, 2015, explaining on voicemail my complaint, she has not returned callDesired Settlement: I am requesting that Lobel Financial remove the "Repossession off of my TransUnion, [redacted] and [redacted] credit report/profile. Send via certified mail, a letter and printout of removal and a statement of status of credit with their company. i.e. account paid In full. A letter of apology and any compensation for suffering for not being able to obtain a monetary loan, due to poor credit.

Lobel Financial has reviewed the
customer’s complaint and account in detail.
Our office received a check on 03.04.15 to pay the customer’s loan
balance in full. Upon receipt of the
payoff, the account was updated to reflect PAID BY DEALER to the credit
bureaus. The customer contacted our
office on 03.31.15 stating she wanted to remove the account from her
credit. She was provided information to
fax her request. The customer later
contact our office on 5.6.15 inquiring about the request to remove the account
from her credit. She was informed that our
office did not receive her prior request and was asked to resubmit her request
for review. While our office never
received the customer’s request, in an effort to resolve her complaint we have
requested her account tradeline with Lobel Financial be deleted from her
credit. We are happy to issue a letter
to the customer confirming this request.
Should she have any further questions, she should contact our Legal
Department directly.

Response:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I am not accepting their requests because Lobel financial is a very dishonest company. They never stated to me that they had not received my request for removal, this is the first time ever hearing that the check was received by the dealer. In fact they informed me that the dealer MUST send written documentation to Lobel Financial because they were the ones who reported the repossession and that they could not remove it from my credit file without the Dealers permission, that it is illegal to do so., I spoke with both Business owners of the car dealership and so did Lobel Financial who stated they never reported the vehicle as a repossession and requested Lobel financial correct their mistake. ,When I contacted Lobel Financial on May 14, 2015, the Legal Department, the male assured me that the item was removed from my credit file and the business that they deal with takes 7 business days to remove it. I asked him if it was updated or deleted, he assured me that it was deleted from my credit file. I asked if they could please mail me a copy for my records and he answered yes. I followed up via telephone, on May 27, 2015, with Lobel legal Department due to not receiving any documentation in the mail, I was told that the people that they deal with, cleared it from my file on today May 27,2015, and had not yet mailed anything out, that I would be receiving something via mail soon. To date I have not received any documentation reflecting any changes, in which Lobel Financial Legal Department has promised and has not delivered. Lobel Financial lacks integrity and ethical business practice. They play game after game after game. At this point I do not trust them, their word means absolutely nothing and holds no weiight and for them to be so horribly dishonest with a company such as the Revdex.com, is awfully terrifying. I have already contacted them requesting what they are so proudly telling me to call for, in all dishonesty, only to make my life a living hell. If they are disgruntled about my returning the car, they should be disgruntled with the Business owners at the car dealership, the car was in bad mechanical condition. They are disrespecting the Revdex.com and me as a consumer and could give less care about it. I have been dealing with this company for months now, with no resolution. I cannot even go and purchase a vehicle due to their lack of consistency, no one will sell me a car due to the repossession they have placed on my credit file. I am suffering and must get to medical appointments. This has been a very unnecessary difficulty in my life, not to mentionthe inquiries on my credit file, rebuilding my credit and lacking knowledge that I had a illegal repossession on my credit. That has desperately affected my livlihood. I am experiencing a negative change in my health due to the dramatical charades they are playing.

Lobel Financial maintains the position as stated in our
original response. Our office placed a
request with the credit bureaus on 5-12 to delete the tradeline from her credit.
As our office can only confirm what action we took and cannot control when
the credit bureaus process such a request, she is welcome to contact the credit
bureaus directly for additional confirmation to verify our office’s request to delete
her tradeline.
Review: This company calls and calls me at work, I have politley asked them to call my cell and leave a message and I will return the call as soon as I am able to. I have already gotten a virbal complaint from my boss and a written up complaint. I never have had any virbal or written up complains from any of my bosses I have worked for. Now I am stressing that the Lobel financial company will call again and I get in trouble and lose my job. I can afford to do so. Please help!Desired Settlement: Please have them stop.

Response:
Management has thoroughly reviewed the customer’s account. Our records do not indicate that the customer has placed a request or led or office to believe she cannot receive calls at her place of work prior to her Revdex.com request. As per her request via her Revdex.com complaint our office will gladly comply and immediately update the account to reflect no outbound courtesy collection calls to her job in the event her account becomes of a delinquent status.
Review: Was in a recorded call Wednesday October 14, 2015 with Lobel Finanical and Nationwide insurance in the call. Our nationwide insurance representative stepped in and confirmed not only do we have full coverage insurance on our 2005 dodge neon, but that we've had it since before the car was signed into our name. Lobel Financial has been calling my girlfriend and I every day at least once a day. We had the information sent twice over e-mail to their provided address, faxed twice (once including over the phone wednesday) both sent from Nationwide themselves, we've got a recorded call with a Nationwide representative stating to a representative at Lobel that we've got auto coverage and have had it since June 27th, 2015. Our payments to both Lobel Financial and Nationwide Insurance have both been made on time each month. We can provide even bank statements to stop this harassment. We're both fearing loss of our car by repossession and they're claiming we owe charges and they'll be reimbursed when we provide proof.Desired Settlement: I want Lobel Finanical to cease contact with my girlfriend and I regarding this manner. I want them to remove the charges pending on our account considering we've got documented proof we've had insurance since before the car was officially ours. We were required to have insurance before the loan was made by Lobel. They approved it because we had insurance. Thank you.

Response:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
This complaint has been resolved as of 10/26/2015. Was notified by Lobel Financial that they have received proof of insurance and have dropped the charges on the account. Thank you for your time. Regards,
Review: I call Lobel today to give them my reference number for the pay off of my vehicle. I ask how long it will take for me to receive my title for the car. I was told 21 days so I asked if I can have that in writing. I was then told that its their policy that they dont give any thing in writing. So I ask since that is your qoute unqoute policy can I have a copy of that. I was then told that they are a bank and they dont have to do any of that. I have dealt with plenty of major banks and when asked for a copy of their policies there has never been a problem. I have had several problems with this company and they always have an excuse on why I cant speak to a manager. All im asking for is a copy of thier policies. I can never get a name from anyone or an employee number. This is not the way to conduct good business especially when there is a substantial amount of money involved.Desired Settlement: A copy of their company policies on what they do and not do.or just a copy of the companies policies period.

Response:
Management has reviewed the customer’s complaint. At this time our office does not supply separate documentation pertaining to our policies and/or the servicing of our accounts and refers to the Retail Installment contract signed at the time of the purchase. While we do not have any additional documentation to supply the customer we want to assure her that all accounts are serviced in accordance and in compliance with all applicable laws. Following receipt of the final payment the paper or electronic title is generally released 15 business days (approximately 21 days including weekends) later. As Ms. [redacted]’s title was held electronically, she should receive the title directly from the DMV any day now.
Review: I have been with this company for 2 years paying off my car. In that two years I have not complained about late charges if I was late, I answer their calls, I was never rude or anything. I still dont feel this company is horrible but might change my mind pending the outcome of this. On July 16th, 2014 I received a call from a customer service agent at 4:42 pm pst reminding me I needed to pay by 7/17/14 or my payment would be late. The call got disconnected and she called me back 1 min later 4:43 pm and apologized that her system is slow and when she refreshed it disconnected my call. We discussed setting up my payment with a check for 7/17/14 to avoid late charges. She then expressed issues with her computer running very slow and asked after collecting my checking account information that she did not want to keep me on hold and waste my time so she would call me back with a confirmation number. An agent called me back 10 min later but I was unfortunately in a meeting as I have to work in order to pay my bills. Since my conversations was that she was going to provide me with the confirmation number I thought nothing of the phone call because the situation was resolved. On 7/17/14 I received another call at 7:40 PM pst stating that I still needed to make my payment. When I expressed what do you mean I set up a payment to be debited today I was told no such paymemt was set up so I would incur a late charge. Since this I have found out that the customer service agent lied in her notes that I hung up on her.. and when I requested they pull the recorded call to review that she assured me she would call back with the confirmation number I was basically told oh well I have to pay a late charge.Desired Settlement: I desire that the late charge for this month (July) be removed immediately from my account. I dont feel that this is an unfair request as it was the fault of an incompetant incorrect agent and not on my part. I have been lied to and sent in circles for 2 days now. After all the negative comments about this company I ignored because I never had an big issue in 2 years but the way they handle this and just continue to repeat inaccurate information that an incompetant agent put in the notes that are not true is very frustrating. They refused to listen to a call that will prove their agent provided inaccurant wrong information and refuse to remove the late fee is even more frustrating. This is not the first time someone has given me the wrong information but the other times I tried to be polite and just accept it was a mistake. How many mistakes do I have to keep paying for before they show they do not even care about their customers.

Response:
Management has reviewed the customer’s account in detail. Following a disconnected call, our office made the necessary attempt to re-contact the customer and process her payment. The customer had until 9p Pacific time on 7-16-14 and up until 3p on 7-17-14 to review our voicemail message which requested a call back to process a pay-by-phone transaction. The customer has since authorized a post-dated transaction for 8-5-14. To avoid the assessment of a late fee, a payment in full needed to be received no later than 3p on 7-17-14. Though our office will not receive funds for the July payment until 8-5-14 and is therefore justified in its application, we are happy to reverse the late fee as a one-time courtesy.
Review: On Thursday, 7/10/14, I received a phone call from [redacted] at Lobel Financial. [redacted] informed me that my account was 47 days past due. I had just made a payment on Monday 7/7/14 via online banking and did not understand how my account could be that far behind. [redacted] stated that I was supposed to have been paying $420 a month, where I had been paying $360. He said that there was a $60 fee for having no insurance. I explained that I did in fact have insurance on the vehicle and asked if I could fax in my information to resolve the issue. He stated that even with proof of insurance, I would still need to make a payment at that time since they had not received my last payment. I checked my online bank account and saw that the money had been taken out of my account to pay Lobel Financial, so I explained to him that my bank was showing it was paid. I thought perhaps it had not been processed on their end, so I asked if he could follow up with me on Monday. He stated that he would "make a note of that" and that he could "not stop any action my vehicle." I did not understand that what he meant by that was that the vehicle would be repossessed that same day. About 30 minutes after our conversation my vehicle was being towed away as it had been repossessed. When I called [redacted] back to ask why he had not told me that my vehicle was about to be repossessed, he told me that's what he meant by "actions on my vehicle."
On the following Monday, I spoke with a woman from Lobel who had told me that I would need to pay $934 to get my vehicle back. I asked if they had finally processed the payment I had made the previous Monday and she told me that they had received it the week before. She said that when they received it, they voided the payment because it was not "an acceptable form of payment" even though I had paid using this method several times before. Their failure to inform me that the payment was voided resulted in my vehicle being repossessed and me accruing expensive fees.Desired Settlement: The $934 they charged me to retrieve my vehicle included a $390 repossession fee. It also included penalty fees for not having insurance. I have sent proof of insurance for the months of April through July. As I believe they failed to inform me that my payment was not in an acceptable form (despite them accepting it in previous months) and that this resulted in financial damages to me, I wish to have the repossession fee credited back to me as well as any penalties for no insurance. If possible, I would also like the towing and vehicle storage fees ($240 paid to Real Time Auto Recover) credited back to me as well.

Response:
Management has reviewed the customer’s account and complaint in detail. At the time of repossession the customer owed amounts due for his May and June payments. Our office made numerous attempts from 5-28-14 on to initiate contact and secure or discuss potential payment arrangements. As the amounts due were neither received nor contact initiated, the collateral was assigned for repossession on 7-9-14. The payment referenced in the customer’s complaint may have been deducted from his bank account via online bill pay but was not received via mail by our office until 7-11-14 after the collateral had already been repod. As the customer’s account was delinquent at the time of repossession we would be unable to adjust any of the amounts billed. Our office has since received proof of valid comprehensive and collision insurance and made the necessary adjustments to the customer’s monthly payment.
Review: I purchased a vehicle and financed it through Lobel Financial. I had one month where I could not make my payment so I requested a deferment and paid the fee to defer my payment. I have made all payments on time with the exception of deferring that one payment. I am now in the process of purchasing a home. When my lender pulled my credit report it is reflecting that I have made the past 3 months payments late. I contacted Lobel Financial and requested that they provide my lender with a letter stating that what was reflected as late payments on my credit was inaccurate. Lobel stated that they would send me over a form to sign giving them permission to send my lender such letter. It has been several weeks and I still have not received the form to sign and my lender is still without a letter. I have been forced to delay the closing on my house. When I call to talk to them about this, I just get transferred from person to person with no resolution. I have not paid my payments late and would like this issue cleared up.Desired Settlement: I would like Lobel to send my lender the requested letter providing proof that my payments were not late. I would also like Lobel to accurately reflect these on time payments on my credit report.
Business
Response:
Management has thoroughly reviewed the customer’s account and disagrees with the customer’s contentions. The first 8 payments were received by our office in a timely fashion however the 5-21-14 payment was not satisfied until 7-2-14 when our office agreed to defer the customer’s delinquent May payment to the end of the loan. The customer’s 6-21-14 payment was not received until 7-23-14. The 7-21-14 payment was not received until 8-21-14 and the 8-21-14 payment was received on 9-22-14. As we have an obligation to accurately report the status of an account we are unable to change or remove the 30 day delinquent mark. As requested, we have updated the customer’s credit to reflect that he is disputing the reported status of his account. Should the customer have proof of additional payments received by our office but not credited to his account he should submit proof to our office directly and we will gladly review and make any necessary adjustments.
Review: My wife scheduled our last car payment to come out of the bank account on February 12th 2015 to avoid being 30 days late. Lobel took the payment out of our bank account on February 20th 2015 and reported me to the credit bureau causing my credit score to drop 75+ points. We have had nothing but problems with Lobel since the first day of having our loan with Lobel. They have poor customer service, They also sent me a letter saying that the amount of $383.08 will be taken out on February 12th but actual amount that was authorized by my wife was $181.17. When my wife called them asked about the letter they said that my wife was wrong then they changed their story saying that their letter that was sent to me was wrong.Desired Settlement: I am asking for them to make it right by notifying the credit bureau of THEIR mistake and correcting my credit score.

Response:
Lobel Financial has reviewed the customer’s account and
complaint in detail. Our records
indicate that on 2-6-15 the customer’s wife informed our office they would be
unable to pay the January payment until 2-20-15. She was informed that due to the delinquent
status of the account, their intentions would be notated but remained
delinquent for the amounts due for January and the status would be reported to
the credit bureaus if payment was not received before the account became 30
days or more delinquent. On 2-12-15, the
customer’s wife contacted our office again stating they would not be able to
make the final payment until 2-20-15 and authorized a pay-by-phone payment to
be withdrawn on 2-20-15. On 2-20-15, the
customer’s wife contacted our office in response to a pay-by-phone confirmation
letter to confirm the exact amount to be submitted later that day.Our office is in
compliance with all credit reporting requirements and has an obligation to
accurately report the true account standing of the account. As such, we would be unable to alter the late
mark reported in February. The account
status currently being reported to the credit bureaus is PAID ACCOUNT – ZERO
BALANCE.
Review: I have a vehicle that was repossessed from Lobel on June 2nd 2015 at 4:15 pm. I contacted Lobel at 4:25pm to inquire where my vehicle was taken and what fees were due and also about adding my wife as a person who can speak on my behalf to them regarding my account. I was told by [redacted] who according to her was the person in charge of my account that she was un aware the vehicle was repossessed and had no information regarding fees due or the process needed to reclaim my vehicle. She stated to me to call her back on the same day June 2nd 2015 at 5:00pm at which time she would have the information needed and also that I would need to fax a written request to add my wife as a person of contact for my account. I faxed in writing the request at 4:40pm on June 2nd 2015 and called Lobel back at 5:00pm on June 2nd 2015 as I was instructed to do at which time the office was closed. A customer service rep from Lobel contacted me on June 3rd 2015 to inform me my fax was received and would be compared to my signature on file to verify its authenticity. I was told my wife was sent an email from Lobel containing a credit application that she needed to fill out and send back to be able to speak on my account I asked about the fees due and process to reclaim my vehicle and was told until my wife completed this emailed credit form no information would be given to me. [redacted] from Lobel contacted me on June 5th 2015 to inquire about the un returned credit form from my wife and at which she stated to me once again until my wife submitted the form no information would be given to me. My wife contacted Lobel on June 5th 2015 at 11:00 am spoke with [redacted] who stated to my wife she would not give her any information or discuss the account with her due to my wife not authorized to speak on my account my wife stated the statement to allow my wife to speak was received by Lobel and asked why it was still pending approval she was denied an answer and denied to speak to a supervisor .Desired Settlement: Its my contracted obligation to pay for the fees in which caused the repossession and also the storage fees included with the repossession as well. However I feel that I immediately contacted Lobel and was purposely given false information and the run around by its customer service representatives who were unwilling to cooperate in my request of adding my wife as well as representatives who are un aware and un informed regarding my account fees and repossession information because of these factors I would not want to be charged any fees from the repo company for any of these days as each day im charged a holding fee for my vehicle however I was not given an answer from Lobel on any of the days on how to obtain my vehicle.. From June 2nd 2015 - and until Lobel response to Revdex.com complaint I'm asking that all the days fees to be waived.

Lobel Financial has reviewed the customer’s complaint and
account in detail. The customer inquired
about adding his wife as a user on his account and was provided the necessary
information to submit his request. On
6-3, our office informed the customer that the signature on the authorization
request did not match our records and he was instructed to resend and our
office would further review. He was made
aware that these requests are subject to approval and that it was up to the digression
of our office to honor such a request. The
customer was again provided the same information on 6-5. A notice regarding the repossession was
mailed on 6-5-15 which provided the information necessary to redeem the
financed collateral. When the customer
contacted our office on 6-18 to inquire about an extension of time, he informed
our office he was not willing to supply the requested information to add his
wife but needed more time to recover the vehicle as specified on the notice
previously mailed. He was informed that
we would not be able to speak to his wife regarding his account and again
provided the information to request additional time to recover the collateral. The customer’s final day to recover the
vehicle is Monday 7-6. As the amounts
owed to our office are his past due monthly payments and the fee to repossess the
collateral which was incurred as a result of the default, we are not able to
waive those amounts. As our office does
not directly retain the vehicle and assess daily storage fees, we cannot
guarantee his request to waive, but are happy to attempt to mediate and
negotiate daily storage fees on the customer’s behalf. If he is interested in recovering the
vehicle, he should contact our office immediately so we can attempt to accommodate
his request.
I have had great customer service with Lobel in Anaheim, Ca.The representatives are always professional and respectful. They approved my change of payment date and sent confirmation via mail. I'm surprised others have had a bad experience with this company. One customer complained about using cash for a payoff...fyi check or money order is for your protection. Another complained about late payments..you were delinquent possibly 3xs. always document names of reps and use certified mail for correspondence. In closing, my loan will be paid off Jan 2016. Thank you Lobel for helping me reestablish my credit.

Management has thoroughly reviewed the customer’s account in detail. Our office maintains that our records indicate a total of $239.00 was authorized by the customer on 6-23-14. The customer contacted our office on 7-1-14 to advise the payment was being returned by her bank and agreed to wire the funds the following day. When our office failed to receive the minimum amount due the financed collateral was assigned for repossession. Following the repossession, our office has been in consistent contact with the customer. At her request, she has been granted additional time to recover the collateral and informed our office she plans to pay and redeem the vehicle today.
Review: I purchased a car thru A &A Auto in Colorado in May 2014. The vehicle was financed thru lobel financial. Insurance papers were provided to both the dealer and finance company. Recently I received a bill stating that I owe 356.53 because I failed to provide proof and declaration of insurance. Today I received another bill stating I owe 426.06 for once again failing to provide proof and declaration of insurance. I called their customer service number [redacted] on July 23, 2014 and again on July 31, 2014 to verify receipt of the numerous faxes sent and email sent from me and my insurance agent. I was told by various representatives like [redacted] in accounting, [redacted] and others that the faxes have not been received. The only customer service rep that was very helpful was Maritza although she too stated the paperwork has not been received. If I did not have insurance I would not have been able to register my car nor would I have been able to keep the car. What it appears like is Lobel is deliberately taking their time in updating their database with correct information. As a result, my payments are escalating monthly and according to the various reviews I've read, this how Lobel repos a car for which one is liable until paid off. In my opinion this is a serious scam. Most importantly, the various fax numbers in Lobel and their employees allege they have no idea where certain fax numbers belong to nor the people who receive them whether by fax or email such as in the case of [redacted] who received an email from me with copies of proof of insurance as well as the declaration. I am concerned that they will attempt to repo my car based on false and misleading billing and collection info. Lobel has also failed to give me an itemized statement of payments and balance due.Desired Settlement: Record to reflect proof of and declaration of insurance......statement of account reflecting payments and balances......billing information corrected to reflect the monthly payment of $286.84as it should be........and a letter of acknowledgement and apology with an explanation as well as specific acknowledgement and receipt of proof of and declaration of insurance.........a valid contact number, name and fax number of an individual that I could contact when I have concerns.

Lobel Financial utilizes the services of a third party insurance document company to receive and process all notifications of insurance coverage. Upon receipt of the customer’s complaint our office directly contacted the customer’s insurance company. We have since received all necessary documentation confirming valid coverage through 7-3-15 and made the necessary adjustments to the customer’s account. While our records do not indicate a request for a payment history statement prior to his Revdex.com complaint, our office will gladly generate and mail to the address on file. We apologize for any inconvenience the customer experienced in his attempts to provide evidence of insurance to our office and will look into the current process to determine and seek resolution to any issues and ensure the needs of our customers are being met.
Review: I mailed this company [redacted] in the amount of $2854.39 to pay off remainder of my auto loan. I have confirmed via [redacted] that it was delivered at the company. The company states that it has not been received and cannot find it. They are now attempting collections, added fee's inclusive of me needing to cancel and reissue the cashier's check. Customer service is incredibly poor, borderline nasty. Research on the internet about the company confirms this is a usual business practice of this company. Below is the information from [redacted]. I want the company to locate the original cashier check. [redacted]Date & Time Status of Item Location October 1, 2014 , 6:12 am Delivered ANAHEIM, CA [redacted] Your item was delivered at 6:12 am on October 1, 2014 in ANAHEIM, CA [redacted]Thank you in advance.[redacted]Desired Settlement: If it cannot be located due to what is their negligence I want the fee's for the check reissue deducted from the $2854.39 as payoff, I do not want any indication on my credit report that this loan is late as all delays from 10/1/2014 are on Lobel's part and I want my title released asap. Additionally, I am a veteran that is 100% [redacted] disabled and this incident is causing me anger and high anxiety - if the matter drags out or causes additional issues in my disability I will want punitive damages

Management has reviewed the customer’s complaint in detail. The tracking information provided by the customer indicates that a package was delivered directly to our PO Box located at and maintained by the United States Post Office location in Anaheim on 10-1-14. Our office does not dispute that the customer issued correspondence and/or payment as the tracking information reflects a package was sent but, maintains that we did not receive any correspondence or a cashier’s check and were therefore unable to credit the account without receipt of the actual monies. Nonetheless, as a courtesy to the customer, our office will honor the payoff of $2854.39. As a final payment of $2925.28 was received on 10-27-14 and a refund of $22.42 was already issued to the customer, a secondary refund of $48.47 will be issued to the customer and mailed to the address on file. As the final payment was issued by the customer’s automobile insurance company as a result of an insurance claim, the title was released directly to their office. Any negative remarks reported to credit bureaus will be removed and reported accordingly. We want to assure the customer that our office posts any and all monies physically received accordingly, either the same day or the following business day if the payment is received after processing hours. We apologize for any inconvenience the customer experienced as a result and hope he understands that the actions of our office were not that of a malicious intent.
Review: Issue with collection practices. I have reached an agreement with Lobel for a total of 2200.00 which I have took out a loan to pay. I took the day off to take care of this matter. I called them a few times and I was inform that before I pay the total amount of 2200.00 that a settlement offer will be printed out, when I got there a lady asked for payment and she got on the phone and stated that she couldn't print out a settlement offer I tried to explain that we spoke about this over the phone she said I am on the phone. I told her I need a settlement offer before I pay. she told the person over the phone nothing( over weight lady) and there was also a thin lady setting the the right of her. She said do you have the money I told her yes. She said yes over the phone and then she said I can hand write a invoice because someone by the name of l was on lunch. I told her I would wait. I am not leaving 2200.00 with no documents. she told me I couldn't get a settlement letter because those are mailed. but I don't have a home to live or an address to send paper work. The person whom post payments said that she would help me, she said she would print a offer out but she needed payment first. I told her thats crazy and doesn't sound right. I asked 8 times for a settlement letter and was inform not till I pay. then was told they will print one out and show it to me but they need to collect the money first. Over the phone we agreed on a settlement letter before payment and a realease form same day so I can stop the garneshment thats going on all terms were approved over the phone when I got there they didn't want to horner. My rights have been violated and I am seeking to take care of this matter with someone who can and will help and not lie, and create more collection violations like they have telling my mom whom has the same name as me my personal information.Desired Settlement: I want them to print out my settlement offer for the agreed amount of 2200.00 before payment is posted. I want them to reless my with holdings from my employment, and give me legal documents stating that once I pay 2200.00 its paid in full and I no longer owe anything that my wages can stop being taken out of my check the same day payment is given to them. If not I will seek other matters

Management has thoroughly reviewed the customer’s complaint. Be it through miscommunication or a misunderstanding, our office was led to believe the customer was requesting a letter stating her account was PAID IN FULL/SATISFIED prior to receiving the $2200.00 settlement payment in certified funds. As our office is not able to provide a document releasing a customer from their financial obligation until all required monies are received, we informed her that would not be feasible. As the customer’s true intentions have been outlined in her Revdex.com complaint, our office would be happy to supply the customer with a letter confirming the agreed settlement amount prior to receipt of her payment. After our office has received the agreed settlement amount we would then be able to supply her with additional documentation confirming her account is paid in full and satisfied with a zero balance. We will honor the settlement offer through June 5, 2014. The customer should contact our Legal Department directly to facilitate the request of such documentation and/or further discuss the terms of the settlement.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint unless a few steps are made. I am requesting an email to be sent for settlement of 2200.00 by June 5,2014. I also would need for them take away money's already paid to them. I have proof of a total of 2086.71 being taken out of my check and paid to them which means that now I only owe them $113.29 please see attachments. I also need in writing that once payment is full this item will be removed from my credit as paid. Once total payment is 2200.00 they are no longer to come after me for no more money and once payment of 113.29 is paid they will no longer take any more money from my check and if they do they will refund it to me asap because then they are collecting more money then settlement is for. My current address is as follows [redacted] 90715 my payroll is processed weekly which means if I go in on Friday and pay them with a cashiers check I'll need a form printed out stating that I no longer owe any more money so they can stop taking out money out of my check. If not I am requesting full refund of amounts to be refunded to me once total of 2200.00 has been meat.
