I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowI believe that I was intentionally misled by the sales person at Local Edge to the purpose of prolonging the existing contract which would have expired in mid August...as previously notedThat is why I signed the contractAlso there could NOT have been calls because there is NO tracking number associated to this account,The "five" forms never came to us (via email) due so some vague problem caused by Local EdgeThis was previously alluded to in my conversation with a Local Edge CSRAlso note that I was told by the CSR that one of the "five" forms was from someone seeking work not insurance *** ***

The account was shut down at the end of October when the client requestedThere was an outstanding balance for two months of service that had already been providedMore accurately, the client had skipped payments in April and May, and had continued to carry a balance equal to two months when they resumed paying in June until the time of cancellationA payment was applied in December equal to one of those months, and as a gesture of good faith Localedge adjusted the remaining month. No further adjustments will be applied to the account

The client claims that they requested to cancel the contract within business days of signing, which occurred on March 25th The client provided a cancel request in writing on March 31st, and then retracted that cancel request in writing on April 4, I am attaching the email
chain that includes both of these communications in this email for Revdex.com review Work on the products continued and was completed.When the client reviewed the website, there was issue with two of the photos that were used, and the logoOne photo had different grade of sheet metal than the client uses, and the another was a photo of a structure that did not have soffits, and the client wanted a photo of a structure with a particular type of soffitWe assured the customer that these were quick corrections, and we agreed that the customer would find and supply two new photos and a higher resolution logoTo date, these have still not been supplied.Shortly after the conversation about the website photos, the customer stated that they had cancelled the products within business days and so are no longer under contractThe matter has been reviewed and Localedge management has spoken with Mr. Heldwein directly on the matterThe customer contracted for the services and the services have been supplied.The website issues that have been communicated are minor corrections, and can be accomplished quicklyLocaledge can and will make the adjustments but due to the specific nature of the issues, we need clear customer direction to make them properlyAttempts to work with the customer to make the changes have been met with replies from the customer that the contract was cancelled

Due to the fact that the SEO work that was contracted for was not able to be completed, through no fault of the customer Localedge will be making the requested adjustment.

Hello *** I see that your account with us consists of only one contract, for advertising in the edition of the Erie County phone directoryThe basis of the complaint is you do not feel you agreed to purchase the ad.Unfortunately we disagree strongly with thisI am attaching a copy of
the contract with print order and the email chain that includes your approvalPlease note the approval is given from the same email listed in this complaintFurther, I point to the fact that you made payment to cover the first installment of the advertising this same timeOur account history shows that no payment was made for two months after thisOn December 15, our mailed invoice was returned as not deliverableOn this date we left a voicemail for you regarding the address and the back balanceOn December 17, we received a return phone call from you giving the new address and communicating that payment was forthcomingOn December 30, we received a call from you making good on you promise of paymentOn this date you made a credit card payment in the amount equal to two months billingThat was the last payment we received, and the last time you responded to our numerous attempts to speak with you.
