this is rip off offer4.
at no point in their offer for a free offer, says that you will be charge 93 dollars + the shipping and handling.
if you buy on line, they offering the same product for only 34.95.
they are literally ripping you of!
do not order the free product, you will be paying more than you bargain for.
lousy customer service

This is one of the biggest scams ever! The company offers a trail of the moisturizer and eye serum for the cost of shipping. No where did I read anything about a 14 day cancellation policy or that my credit card would be charged $93.87 for the product. No policy or product information was sent with the trail offer. I called the company after I noticed the charge on my credit card to find out was it was. That was when I was informed that the payment was for the product I received as the "trail". I tried to go online to see if the fine print was there and unfortunately I was not able to find any of the so called policies. Shame on this company for their trickery and deceitfulness. I would not recommend doing business with this company. If the product is supposed to be good as you say it is, it will speak for itself and no need for scams to get people to buy it.

To Whom This May Concern,

We have received Mrs. ***'s review regarding her account with us. Mrs. ordered a full thirty day supply of our products on December 12, 2017. We do not offer sample sizes. We sent her a full size bottle to try it for the 14 day trial period to see if she liked it, for just the cost of shipping and handling. We sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding and have refunded Mrs. in the amount of $93.87. We hope she is satisfied with this credit and apologize for any inconvenience.

Best Regards,

Customer Support

I placed an order with this company for the trial size and was only being charged the shipping. This occurred on 12/617. I noticed that there was a $93 charge from my bank account from VTN Vitality/Nutraskin and also a $93 charge from Truderbeauty. Then I found a charge on my account for Nubod Ageless for $1.95. When I called the three numbers the same person answered the phone for all three companies! This person I talked to kept trying to negotiate a better term to keep the membership. I did not negotiate and asked her to cancel the account and refund the money. I will be cancelling this credit card and file a complaint.

Tom Whom This May Concern,

We would like to apologize for the misunderstanding and miscommunication with our customer service. We have reviewed Mrs. ***'s account and our records indicate she was refunded in full in the amount of $187.66 when she contacted our customer service on January 3, 2018. We hope she is satisfied with this credit and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

I am a 72 year old woman who was pulled into an online scam.
I was pulled in by the advertising online. For only $4.95 for shipping you would get a free trial. Nothing free. There I ordered 2 products thinking I would only be out $10 if I wasnt happy with the product. I read the terms and conditions and seen no where about 14 days, but even if that was the case, I ordered the product on Dec. 18th 12 days later, also having major holidays in this time frame, the deducted 2 charges of $93.87. I am widowed with very little income. This wiped my account out . Spent all day on the phone with custo.erservice and then at my bank. The customer service rep was very rude and sarcastic with no remorse. This has put me in a bad situation.I thought I was spending around $10 and all actuality I'm out almost $200.

Desired Outcome

Refund of charges I was unaware of. I would not of made this purchase if I was aware of thecharge.

After reviewing Mrs. complaint, customer support has gone and reviewed her account. She ordered a full thirty day supply of of our products on December 18, 2017. We sent her a full size bottle to try it for the 14 day trial period to see if she liked it, for just the cost of shipping and handling. In good faith and because we value customer satisfaction we have refunded Mrs. in the amount of $93.82 for the additional 50% of the charges she was not previously refunded. It will take 5-7 business days for Mrs. to see this credit to her bank account. We hope she is satisfied with this credit and want to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Thanks to you they paid my money back . Thanks again !

Ordered Luminary face cream, misled to believe trial offer was free, then charged full amount. Canceled product and was sent and charged for more.
I ordered a face cream called Luninary with what I had understood to be a free "trial" for 14 days and all I had to pay was shipping. They sent me a full size bottle and charged me $93.87 for it. The product has made my skin break out and has done nothing promised in the ad. When I finally noticed this on my credit card bill, 12/15/17, I called to cancel product and was sent more product. When I called on 1/2/18 to let them know I had already called to cancel, they offered me a 50% discount. I told them that I had already called to canceled, and she told me that the most they could refund me was 75%. I told them that I had canceled and did not want to receive any more product and wanted a full refund. They told me a supervisor was not available to talk to me and that their system would not allow a full refund.

Desired Outcome

Make it very clear to other consumers what they are getting and a refund of the money I paid to get a product that only made my skin worse and did not do anything that was advertised.

We hope she is satisfied with this credit and want to apologize for any inconvenience.

Thank you for responding to my complaint. Nutraglowskin (Luminary Skin) has refunded the last charge of $ 93.87 on January 2, 2018. Although my interactions with this company were frustrating and unfavorable, I am satisfied that they at least refunded the last payment they took after I had canceled their product.

Please let me know if you need further information.

Thank you and have a great day.

This company is a fraud and reapoff, a scam. They don't tell you about additional fees, after the trail. They do t even tell you about after the 14 day trail that you will get billed $93.87 And 93.79. Or give you a number to call. And when you get their number from your bank, and call them they are rude and try to sell more junk or want to give you a 35% off next shipment. When you ask for your money back, they refuse to refund it. Don't fall for this scam !!!

To whom this may concern,

We would like to apologize for any misunderstandings between Luminary and Mrs. ***. Mrs. ordered a full thirty day supply of Ageless Moisturizer and eye serum on December 14, 2017. We do not offer sample sizes. We sent her a full size bottle to try for 14 days, for just the cost of shipping and handling on a subscription basis. After the 14 day trial Mrs. was billed the retail price of the product. The reason we send you a full 30 day supply to try is to benefit the customers who love the product, and want to continue seeing their results. We take pride in customer satisfaction and as a testament to this we have refunded Mrs. in the amount of $187.66. We hope she is satisfied with this credit and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

Not a FREE sample! Charged almost $200 2 weeks after I received product (that doesn't work either). Then automatically signed up for subscription.SCAM
paid shipping for cream and eye serum that was advertised as a free sample "only pay shipping". 2 weeks later was charged almost $200 for the product because I didn't call. Was advertised as a "free sample" but it is not! then was set up on auto subscription and charged that AGAIN the next month. called and got refund on the 2nd shipment after much battling. I am still pissed off that I was charged for the first shipment too. I don't have that kind of money to buy face creams as I have a child with a severe illness and my money goes to medical bills! I couldn't get anything other than the refund of the 2nd shipment. so I am still out of $187.66 that could be going toward our medical bills that pile up fast! lastly, I did try the product for 3 weeks and it didn't do anything. not the miracle that the testimonials claim. surprise surprise! this seems to be quite a scam and I hope that they change their business practices soon!
BTW I offered to ship back the unopened product (2nd shipment) and they told me not to send it back. I don't want it.

Desired Outcome

I would be pleased to see a full refund of $375.32 instead of just the 1/2 since it is described as a free sample. I even looked up my original order and it doesn't say anywhere in my emails that I will be charged more 2 weeks after the original shipment!

I would like to give a fair review of this company. Had the same order experience similar to the negative reviews here (14 day trial, but still charged $93). Talked with a kind Customer Support agent, Aaron, and he was able to work with me, all orders canceled, and got a 100% refund back. Still waiting for that refund in 3~5 business days. Company is running an auto-enrollment scam. They are not making it obvious to consumer that they are being billed for auto-enrollment.
Purchased FREE moisturizer sample from Luminary Skin on 11/30. After submitting order, screen said "order not complete, proceed to next page". When you proceed to next page, you click submit, which then apparently signs you up for a second product, eye serum, that I did not know I was purchasing. Had to pay shipping only on both items. Items arrived. On December 14 my Discover card was billed $93.87 and $93.79 for both products as I apparently was enrolled in an auto monthly subscription that I DID NOT AGREE TO. I investigated this online and found numerous complaints online from other customers who have been scammed as well, for the exact same amounts. Also of note, I was billed by 2 separate companies, 1 company for each product. Tru Derm Beauty, $93.79 (800-995-6557, CA) and Nutra Glo Skin $93.87(877-979-9315, CA). When I called Luminary Skin, they said that I checked a box of terms and agreements which listed that this was a subscription. They did not make it clear to me that I was enrolling in anything. My order confirmation for both products also did not list anywhere that this was a subscription either. ALSO, I was never emailed about them drafting the above $187.66 from my Discover card, nor did I receive any notification of shipping for these products that they charged me for. Lastly, I went back on their website to pretend reorder so that I could actually read this disclaimer they said was there. When I went to the webpage and tried to start the ordering process, it took me to an entirely different site that now is selling men's moisturizer. I cannot find the original webpage that previously ordered from. This company is completely bogus and scamming customers. Please investigate this so that they stop ripping people off.

I called customer service and informed them that I would be filing a complaint with Revdex.com, FTC and state attorney generals office. hey said they would only reimburse me 30%, which is when I informed them that is Federally unlawful to auto-enroll customers in subscription services without making it CLEARLY obvious that you are doing so, and also to not provide information on how to cancel or opt-out of this service. After all this, they finally decided to refund me all of my money. I have not yet received the refund though.

Desired Outcome

Complete refund of my $187.66 as well as their scam to be put to an end.

They refunded my money

Unauthorized product shipment.
About 2 months ago Luminary offered a free trial offer of 1 jar of skin conditioner plus eye aging cream. This was the free offer and I was to only pay shipping charges which I agreed too. Their shipments do not include a packing slip. There is a number BXXXXXXAF5. I specifically told the person taking the free trial order do not put me on auto delivery and send me any unauthorized. If I liked the product I would order more. She agreed.
About a month later they sent me a shipment of the same product. box # ***. I called and told the Phone Rep that they sent me the product again which I did not order. She told me that they do not take returns. I told her the product irritates my skin. I did not want it. She just said she would cancel any further unauthorized shipments. Now this month I received another unauthorized shipment. I called again and spoke to Tyler Agent 501 who said she would cancel my order after trying to get me to agree to keep receiving for a 65% discount. Told her NO need an email with agreed cancelation, so waiting on that. These people are running a scam using the name of a celebrity Sally Fields as their con. Please want a refund for the unauthorized shipments.

Desired Outcome

I just want my money back for the two unauthorized shipments

Signed up for free trial and paid shipping well never received product and was charged full price of $95.19. Rip off! Will not refund my money.
Signed up for a 14 day free trial on Nov 21st was supposed to pay for just shipping of $4.95. Dec 8th was charged $93.79 because I didn't cancel before 14 days were up. I never received product to try. I called and was told it was not there problem and could only give me $70.34 back because supposedly its still in transit. They also signed me up for auto ship and had to cancel. I never received confirmation of cancellation or refund of any kind. I had to cancel my credit card to make sure no more charges were made. I never received any product from this company!
Yet they tried to still charge my credit card for something I never received.

I was charged for items I DID NOT order. I was first told that 5he charges were reversed after 3 days of no credit, they said they would not credit me
On 11/18/17 I purchased 2 trial products off the internet which stated it was a product of Faith Hill. I was charged thestated price of $4.90 & $4.95 as agreed, but also another $1.95 for one item I didn't order. I made a point to read the ENTIRE article and nowhere did it say I had to return within 14 daysI or I was signing up for a "membership". On 12/03/17 my bank account was debited for $93.87 & $93,79. I called the Company and told them I did not want the product they tried selling it to me at a discounted price first at 40% off then 60% off and I told him no I want to get credited to my account I spoke with a girl name Allison, representative #*** Who put me on hold and when she came back she told me the charges were reversed I said thank you very much. After three days they still were not reversed so I called her back and she told me I had signed up for membership they were legitimate charges she would not credit me I asked speak to her supervisor she said he couldn't credit me either she then put me on hold when I insisted to speak with someone else and then never came back to the phone. She obviously lied when telling me that she was reversing the charges the advertising of the product was an a lie, everything about this company is fake !!
Items:Luminary Hydraglow Boost, Uplift, & Hydraglow Skin (not ordered or received but billed)
Product was never agreed to for monthly billing, I was told that the charges were reversed and they never were and now they refused to give me my money back. Theyneed to be shut down !

Desired Outcome

I want my bank account credited for the FULL AMOUNT of ALL CHARGES

NO. I said that I had filed a dispute with my bank, (file attached) NOT that I had received a credit from them. I need them to credit the two charges $93.87 & 93.79 for the "monthly membership" I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR. I have been constantly LIED TO by this company the entire time I have been dealing with them, first being told the charges were reversed by Allison, representative ID #*** and then two days later was told by her I would not receive a credit.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I want to thank them for doing the right thing in issuing my refund, as I never signed up for monthly deliveries. I just wish it didn't take so long as it did cause my financial situation a hardship from the original transaction.

Misleading advertisement and inappropriate withdrawal of funds from consumer's credit card on a monthly basis.
On 10/16/17 I ordered two trial products from Luminary Skin under the clear advertising of the company offering a free trial with payment of shipping only which totaled $11.80. No other information came up except the normal screen to enter credit card information and address for product to be mailed. There was also no confirmation sent via email of the order. When the box arrived, there was also no paperwork enclosed. Yesterday, I received another box of the same two products, again with no paperwork and no email accompanying it. I believed it was sent to me in error but I then check my statement and noticed that in addition to the initial charges totaling $11.80, there were two new charges from the same company. One dated 10/30/17 for $93.87 and another dated 11/1/17 for $93.79. I immediately contacted my bank who also noticed that in addition to the statement I had, two more charges for the same amounts were charged to my next bill, one dated 11/30/17 and one dated 12/1/17. The bank agent attempted to contact the company but there was no answer. I called my bank again this morning and we got through to Luminary today, 12/6/17 and spoke with one of their agents who informed me that by ordering the free trial products, I also agreed to be part of a monthly delivery and charge to my credit card of these same products. I informed her that I never agreed to that or saw anything that mentioned that at all and that no emails or paperwork were sent to me regarding that. She argued that I would have had to notify them within a certain amount of days in order the cancel this monthly subscription otherwise it would be sent and billed every month. She also informed me that the first set of charges was for the alleged "free" sample that came to me. I told her to immediately cancel this subscription that I never agreed to as well as refund the 4 charges that I am being billed for (not including the original $11.80 charge that I am more than happy to pay for). She told me that she will cancel the subscription and that I would need to send back the most recent box I received and that once they receive it, they will refund me 100% of that 3rd set of charges, but that as a courtesy, she would only be able to refund me half of the money from the second set of charges. Since I never willingly agreed to paying $80 for those original products that I received, I would like a full refund because this is clearly a scam with this very important information hidden in either no text that I saw or extremely fine print somewhere not visible to the eye. I have also seen several of the exact same complaints about this company so I'm guessing this will not come as a first complaint to you. I am hoping that since I don't feel this is a very honest company to begin with, that they will actually do what they say and refund me fully for the third set of charges; refund me the 50% of the second set of charges; but I would like a refund of 100% of the second set of charges because this was clearly a scam and they shouldn't get away with it. The most disappoint and ignorant part of this, quite frankly, is that their product is good and they would have had me for a customer if not for this scam. Very foolish way to do business because ultimately if I get awarded everything that I'm asking, they will have only made $11.80 off of me as opposed to a permanent customer, but a customer of their own terms.

Desired Outcome

I would like a reimbursement from Luminary Skin in the amount of $375.32, which is the total amount of charges to my credit card to date. And a cancellation of any future dealings with them whatsoever.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Just an additional note to the company. 3 generations of my family have been using *** products. Chain buying of their products for dozens of years. This product was so good that I would have switched to Luminary and you would have had my business the same way *** has had our business for so many years but for the fact that you do it this way. You lost a potential customer because of it. Very foolish from a business stand point. *** thanks you because I will continue to be a customer of theirs now. You may want to re-think this "free" trial and automatic monthly billing thing you do!

DO NOT PURCHASE: after seeing an ad on cable for Luminary Skin products via telephone, I ordered two trial products; only needing to pay shipping. On the cable ad, nothing was mentioned about either the actual cost of the one ounce trial size product(s) or needing to contact them within 14 days of ordering. NutraGlo Ageless billed my credit card $93.87. NutraGlo Ageless charged another $93.79 on my credit card. When I received my credit card statement, I called the numbers listed for NutraGlo to inquire about the charges. The person was rude and interrupted me numerous times. I told him I would tell American express to cancel the charges and he told me it wouldn't do any good, as I had agreed to the Terms of Service. Bottom line is, he said he would give me a discount of 35% refund which I told him that was not good enough but he continued on and on about the discount. I let him know that I will be writing a complaint and he did not care. This company's business practices are corrupt and fraudulent. I would NEVER recommend doing business with NutraGlo Ageless/Luminary Skin prodcts.

I placed an order with this company for the trial size and was only being charged the shipping. Once I read the reviews, I immediately emailed and called customer service. They did not cancel and then I noticed that there was a $93 charge from my bank account. I immediately called them and demanded to cancel this. This person I talked kept trying to negotiate a better term to keep the membership, not listening to me at all. I finally had to yell at her and told her No No No, cancel this now. So she finally listened and cancelled my membership and said that I will be refunded my $93. As of today, I still have not received my money back and I have contacted them several times.

All I want is my $93 returned back to me.

I was signed up for a $93 as subscription after only purchasing a trial sample.
I ordered a trial sample of this product and was charged $4.90 as Uplift and $4.95 as Nubod Vitality on 10/18/17. Then, Nubid Vitality attempted to charge my credit card for $93.79 and was caught as fraud. They ultimately got it to go through under Uplift on 11/02/17. I called today to complain and ask for it to be removed and was unsuccessful. They said they would close my account and offered my all sorts of deals. I asked several times for them to credit the $93.79 back to my credit card and they refused. This is such a scam!

Desired Outcome

I want my $93.79 credited back to my credit card.

Luminary Skin Response

To whom it may concern,
After reviewing Ms. complaint we want to apologize for any confusion. The package you received is a full thirty day supply, we do not offer sample sizes. We sent you a full size bottle and allow you to try it for the 14 day trial period to see if you like it, for just the cost of shipping and handling. If you like the product after your trial, you are billed for the actual cost of the product and enrolled in a monthly subscription. The reason we send you a full 30 day supply to try is because of the overwhelming response and feedback from customers who love the product, and want to continue seeing their results. Because customer satisfaction is important to us, our customer support department has refunded Ms. the two amounts of $93.87/$93.79. It typically takes 3-5 business days for the refund to reflect on to Ms. bank account. In addition, her account with us is inactive; therefore, she will not receive any further shipments. We hope she is satisfied with our business and we want to apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused.

Luminary advertised a free trial, but I was charged the full amount not just the shipping as they advertised.
All you pay is shipping & handling, so I ordered on 11/1/17 & pd the $4,95 shipping. Nowhere did they say you I would be charged the full amount of $93.87, which was done automatically on 11/15/17 & I found out it is a monthly auto ship also. When I received the shipment, there were no papers inside box describing it or telling me anything about the price of the product or that I would be charged the full amount. full charge, which was not in their advertisement. There was no return address either, just a po box 23976, St Petersburg, FL. I emailed for a refund and was instructed to call for return instructions. I called the number 1-877-929-7658 and no answer. I then called the number listed on my bank statement under NUBOD SKIN 800-995-7315 and got Diana (agent # *** who told me I was past the trial date and didn't qualify for a refund, but they could offer me a discount on the product. I said I wanted a full refund and would return the product. I also mentioned I was filing a complaint with the Revdex.com. Eventually, we agreed on a 70% refund and cancellation of all future auto ships. What a SCAM they have going. I bet most people don't catch it and the company always says you've contacted them after the trail period. What a Rip-of!

Desired Outcome

I want a full refund of $93.87 + $4.95 shipping = $98.82. We will have to see if the 70% refund actually shows into my bank account.
