Mad City Sales Reviews (82)

Dear Mr[redacted] , we have received your complaint and have carefully reviewed all actions that occurred during our retail transactionBefore we present a vehicle on our lot for retail sale the vehicles are inspected The inspection ensures us and the customer that all safety related items are safe and functionalThe WI buyers guide (window sicker) is completed by myself which discloses any known defects and what the vehicle was previously used for We have another shop that completes all of our re-conditioning and when the vehicle gets to our retail location there is a short period of time when the vehicle is parked behind our building and marked "not inspected for sale" Sometimes people ask to see those cars, at that time I will complete the inspection paperwork and make the car available to show to a respected client When we are completing our retail transaction the customer signs a retail installment agreement contract, that contract assigns the debt owed on the vehicle purchased to a financial institution By signing the contract the customer is agreeing to abide by the rules set in place by the lender If a customer defaults on their payments there is likely to be a penalty fee associated with such actions, those penalty fees are not administered by Mad City Sales Inc they are from the lender the contract is assigned to Further more: all retail installment contracts that are assigned in the state of Wisconsin are assigned on a fixed annual percentage rate, I would advise contacting your lender if you see a rate change from what is on your contract I hope this response has provided you with some clarity on the actions that took place during your experience while purchasing a nicer, newer carWhile we strive for 100% customer satisfaction sometimes that's just not obtainable due to poor communication, and for that I sincerely apologizeWe worked very hard to make you a customer of ours and will continue to work hard to keep you a customer of oursThank You and God bless [redacted] GSM Mad City Sales and Service

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] I would like it noted in the agreement that they are paying for the repair of the gas gauge and the fuel pumpIm not responsible for those billsThank you [redacted] A Regards, [redacted]

Hello, I'm glad [redacted] was able to help you through this! We strive hard to train our team in a way so they view all interactions from a guests point of view I'm very sorry we missed the mark with your transaction and its this sort of feedback that helps us get stronger in our skill-sets to provide a better experience for our guests! We are able to present various offers to aide people with their transportation problems/needs We cannot make final financial decisions for our guests and it is ultimately up to them to decide if our presented offers suit their needsMuch more often than not we hit the nail on the head but there are surely some we miss Thank you again for the feedback and I hope you have a better feeling of my business , my intentions and my team! Dear Mr[redacted] , I have reviewed your complaint with Mad City Sales Incthat has been filed with the Revdex.com I'd like to start out by apologizing for the frustrations you've experienced When I spoke with you I was under the impression that your main concern was with the missing trim components of the sun roof I felt at that point that a Dodge dealerships service department would have an option of ordering those pieces individually as apposed to replacing the entire unitI did contact [redacted] and inform them that you'd be setting up an appointment with them and what we where looking to get accomplished, I am sorry for the poor customer service that you received from themIn your complaint with the Revdex.com you go on to describe an entire list of issues that you're concerned with After reviewing the list I see that they are not safety related items When the vehicle is inspected for sale by our certified technicians the techs are looking for issues that would effect the vehicle ability to be operated in a safe manor From the dealerships position, if we replaced absolutely everything that was cosmetically flawed we would not be able to finance the vehicle with a bank willing to work with people who have had a less fortunate credit historyWe strive to put the NICEST and NEWEST cars on the road with our name on it for folks in a special finance situationThe lenders charge us, the dealer, a large fee to take on the risk of nonpayment and we need to make sure we can pay that fee AND make a few bucks as wellIts a VERY tight line so there is always a little bit of give and take in every Special finance guest we serve Our intention is never to "screw" anyone and I sleep well at night knowing that we have helped a lot of people get financing when other dealers have simply said no and turned their heads We have grown by about 1000% over the years taking people FROM the current crumby credit situation TO a much BETTE R credit situation where they pay real low interest and have many many more choices all WITHOUT the fees we incur as a dealerfolks come back to us over and over again! Please contact me to set up a time that works for you to review these items and I'm sure we can resolve our differences in a respectful manor Thank you and have a wonderful day [redacted] GSM Mad City Sales

***, I was happy to be able to speak with you over the phone the other dayAfter our talk I believe we have a good plan in place to make everything right between us I will get with my service manager and let him know you'll be calling to set up your service appointmentI'm sorry for the miscommunication you have experienced in working with our service department and am happy you're allowing us to set everything straight All of our vehicles here have to pass a strict inspection before being offered for sale, with that said there's always a pretty good chance of any vehicle needing service work down the roadWe are always unsure of the future repairs needed for an automobile when we sell it, but we are always here to provide excellent customer serviceThank you and I look forward to hearing from you, Happy Holidays [redacted] General Sales ManagerMad City Sales

Dear Mr [redacted] , I have read your complaint and understand you're frustrated with the vehicle you purchased from us on Jan 3rd of this year After reading the complaint I understand what your position is, my goal is to shed some light on what things look like from our end Before we offer a vehicle for retail sale we inspect the vehicle to make sure it's safe to drive according to state regulation Part of that inspection is to check the brakes and all other safety related itemsWe inspected the vehicle and disclosed everything we knew about the vehicle, unfortunately in this case the car was equipped with a manual transmission Vehicles equipped with a manual transmission have a component in them called a clutch, a clutch is made of the same materials as brake pads and is considered a wear item by all manufacturers Unfortunately clutches can go bad at any time due to the large amount of stress they are under at all timesAs someone with a mechanic background you surely understand all of this tooWe disclosed the vehicles previous usage and accident history using a source known as an Auto Check, most all dealerships use Auto Check because many of the banks that finance cars use Auto Check Car Fax is a reputable source for a vehicles history however due to higher advertising costs for the Car Fax service we use Auto Check to pass the savings on to our consumer while maintaining an accurate way of disclosing a vehicles history This is only one example of what makes us a dealer FOR the peopleThe insinuation of wrong or illegal actions has been investigated from within and we find no evidence of thisThat said, our mission is to create a happy customer when they are not We are in this mode right now!You had stated you were between jobs so I am assuming there may have been some struggles to make timely payments on something which would make your credit go down vs upAn auto loan is of very high value to credit reporting agencies when it comes to score and every timely payment creates a stronger risk status for youWe make every effort to set folks up to be in a better situation in regards to their credit scores and always have Circumstances certainly do arise that hinder this progress as it sounds like it did here As for the value of the vehicle, from the sounds of things, it sounds like other dealers are using the cars history to de-value your carBased on the information you've shared with me, I'm sure I can give you more than what you've been offeredWe ALWAYS have folks looking for cars like yours and would welcome it on trade I'd be more than happy to trade you up to a vehicle you'd be happier with in an effort to maintain our excellent customer service history record Please contact me at your convenience to schedule a time for us to meet about finding you a Nicer, Newer Car--

Dear Mr[redacted] , I have received and reviewed your complaint from the Revdex.comAfter reviewing all the documents on file I have come to the following conclusion On July 8th of you purchased a Subaru Impreza WRX from our dealership Before the vehicle was offered for sale it passed a safety inspection, the inspection concluded that all safety related items are in good working condition and the vehicle is legal to be driven on Wisconsin roadwaysWe disclosed on the buyers guide the condition of the vehicle at the time of the inspection and you agreed to take delivery of the vehicle in that condition by signing the buyers guide at the time of delivery In your complaint you reported that the purchase price was $24,After reviewing the purchase contract I have found that the sales price was actually $ When you purchased the vehicle from us the Kelly Blue Book value of the vehicle was $19,477, so I would have to say we discounted the vehicle as much as we could to meet your financial needs A Subaru Impreza WRX is a very sought after vehicle to own by a large population of automotive enthusiasts due to its turbo engine and performance handling capabilities Owning such a vehicle typically comes with a higher cost of ownership due to the extra strain put on the vehicle componentsThe extra strain leads to a higher component failure rate, unfortunately this leads to the owner spending more money to maintain the vehicles condition With this said, we are more than willing to work with our customers to help them keep their vehicle in good working order I would be more than willing to work with my service department to resolve your issues at a discounted rate Please contact me at your convenience to set up a good time that works for you to bring the vehicle in to our service department[redacted] GSMMad City Sales

Dear Ms***, As we have discussed three times now verbally. We are more than happy to repair your vehicles fuel gauge so you know how much fuel is in your tank. In return for that good faith action we are asking that your past due balance be brought up to current with our service dept. We value all of our customers here the same no matter what kind of vehicle they purchased from us, we are fully dedicated to providing the best service possible and look forward to serving you as our valued customerPlease call me at ###-###-#### to set up that service appointmentThank you and have a wonderful day -- *** ** ***GSM - Mad City Sales###-###-####"Everyone deserves to drive a NICER, NEWER CAR"

Dear Ms.***, my name is *** *** and I am the General Sales Manager of Mad City Sales Inc. I have reviewed your complaint with the Revdex.comI have also reviewed all the documents we have on file from the date of sale. I'd like to start out by apologizing, 90% of
any dispute comes from poor communication. So let's start by opening up the lines of communication and understanding. I understand why you're upset, I would be to if I was in your position. Unfortunately what I have found after a few hours of investigation is that we are both a victim of reporting. After reviewing the history of the VW GTI I have found no signs of this vehicle being in a total loss accident, so why does the Car Fax show it? Because it's a mistakeUnfortunately these mistakes happen far too often, that's why we don't use CarFax. We use a program called AutoCheck, AutoCheck is owned by Experian and trusted by all the banks we typically use. The Wisconsin title that was issued to you is not "branded", the vehicle never had a "branded" titleWe as a dealership we never purchase vehicles with branded titles, we couldn't get them financed and we don't want our name on vehicles with poor history records. So in conclusion, what I'd like to do is trade you out of the vehicle into a nicer newer car that you'll happy with for years to come. Because we sold the vehicle to you at 70% of it's retail value it should be easy to trade you out of itIf you like or even still love the car I want you to rest assure it is a safe vehicleI'd be happy to have it inspected for you if that will put your mind at easeWe want you to be happy with the car you purchased from us, we where happy to help you then and we will be here to help you again. Please feel free to contact me at any point in time to resolve our situationThank You. *** *** - GSM

Mr [redacted],Please let me start by apologizing for how your issues have been handled at my store.  We recently separated for our former GSM and he left us with a couple messes.  [redacted], Sales Manager, is reaching out to you to resolve this and we can move forward with another HAPPY...

Mad City Sales customer!  We strive vigorously to make everyone happy and always will. Thank you for your patience surrounding this issue and look forward to serving you![redacted]PresidentMad City Sales

Dear Mr.[redacted], we have received your complaint and have
carefully reviewed all actions that occurred during our retail
transaction. Before we present a vehicle on our lot for retail sale the
vehicles are inspected.  The inspection
ensures us and the customer that all safety related...

items are safe and
functional. The WI buyers guide (window sicker) is completed by myself
which discloses any known defects and what the vehicle was previously
used for.  We have another shop that completes
all of our re-conditioning and when the vehicle gets to our retail
location there is a short period of time when the vehicle is parked
behind our building and marked "not inspected for sale".  Sometimes
people ask to see those cars, at that time I will complete
the inspection paperwork and make the car available to show to a
respected client.  When we are completing our retail transaction the
customer signs a retail installment agreement contract, that contract
assigns the debt owed on the vehicle purchased to a financial
institution.  By signing the contract the customer is agreeing to abide
by the rules set in place by the lender.  If a customer defaults on
their payments there is likely to be a penalty fee associated with such
actions, those penalty fees are not administered
by Mad City Sales Inc they are from the lender the contract is assigned
to.  Further more: all retail installment contracts that are assigned in
the state of Wisconsin are assigned on a fixed annual percentage rate, I
would advise contacting your lender if
you see a rate change from what is on your contract.  I hope this
response has provided you with some clarity on the actions that took
place during your experience while purchasing a nicer, newer car. While
we strive for 100% customer satisfaction sometimes
that's just not obtainable due to poor communication, and for that I
sincerely apologize. We worked very hard to make you a customer of ours
and will continue to work hard to keep you a customer of ours. Thank You
and God bless. [redacted]GSM Mad City Sales and Service

The aforementioned matter between Adam [redacted] and Mad City Mitsubishi has been resolved.  Adam understands that Mad City did, in fact, disclose the full vehicle history report to him upon purchase and that he signed every page of said history.  Also, Adam has been informed that, even though his vehicle falls within both the scope and the range of protection by FCA’s 5 year/100,000 mile factory powertrain warranty, he voided that warranty when he had a relative do some work to the motor without prior authorization by FCA and using after-market parts not sanctioned by FCA.  When attempting to trade him out of the vehicle in question, financing arrangements could not be made.  Therefore, the cost of the repair will be covered by Mad City Mitsubishi and timely payments have been arranged between Mad City and Adam so that Adam can operate the vehicle and pay the bill to fix it in full.     Bryan [redacted]Mad City Mitsubishi

Dear Mr.[redacted], I am happy that we could talk and work
our conflict.  I have everything ready for you to come in today at 4:30
to drop off your car for the full detail service and scratch removal.  I
am sorry for any misunderstandings
that may have taken place during your retail...

sale transaction and I am
confident that we can put this all behind us and make you a happy
customer.  Please accept this response and the work we are doing to your
automobile as a token of our appreciation to you
as our customer.  Please understand that it is never our goal to have
any of our clients feel as if they where "duked" or taken advantage of
in any way.  You are a valued customer of ours and it's our obligation
and also our pleasure to provide you with outstanding
customer service. While we may have fallen short of that goal the first
time around I am happy that we are able to try again and move forward
with this relationship that I hope to keep for many years to come.
Thank you.[redacted]GSMMad City Sales

Hi Cody!  Our [redacted] , Bryan [redacted], will reach out to you ASAP to discuss this. This sounds like some confusion and miscommunication issues I'm sure we can figure out.  Thanks!

In
response to the stated situation at hand, let me start by saying the Senior Leadership has changed here at Mad City Sales within the last few
months and the direction MCS is on is one of customer satisfaction and
problem solving with the consumers best interest at hand.  After...

becoming aware of the stated issues, I have repeatedly reached out to
speak to Ms. [redacted] on multiple occasions since 10/16/2015.  At this
point I welcome [redacted] to come in and see if we can assist in her
current situation.  After looking through our Service Department
records, it appears that within the 1 year after the vehicle purchase,
there have been no major issues other than normal maintenance
recommended or performed within the 20K miles that have been put on the
vehicle in that year. We have seen the vehicle in our service shop for minor issue and maintenance only with no stated concerns. The vehicle appears to still be under an extended
warranty coverage covering mechanical but not maintenance issues.  We
here at Mad City Sales would love the opportunity to assist [redacted]
with her current concerns of her vehicle.  Please give me a call and we
will work together to figure out a solution that is fair and equitable
to all.Best Regards,[redacted]Mad City Sales
