This is [redacted]. As of current I have been to mad city auto. They have fixed the Ac condenser, but the the Ac still does not function because they found another issue. complaint with Mad City Sales Inc. that has been filed with the Revdex.com. 
I'd like to start out by apologizing for the frustrations you've
experienced.  When I spoke with you I was
under the impression that your main concern was with the...

missing trim
components of the sun roof.  I felt at that point that a Dodge
dealerships service department would have an option of ordering those
pieces individually as apposed to replacing the entire
unit. I did contact [redacted] and inform them that you'd be setting up
an appointment with them and what we where looking to get accomplished, I
am sorry for the poor customer service that you received from them. In
your complaint with the Revdex.com you go on to
describe an entire list of issues that you're concerned with.  After
reviewing the list I see that they are not safety related items.  When
the vehicle is inspected for sale by our certified technicians the techs
are looking for issues that would effect the
vehicle ability to be operated in a safe manor.  From the dealerships
position, if we replaced absolutely everything that was cosmetically
flawed we would not be able to finance the vehicle with a bank willing
to work with people who have had a less fortunate
credit history. We strive to put the NICEST and NEWEST cars on the road
with our name on it for folks in a special finance situation. The
lenders charge us, the dealer, a large fee to take on the risk of
nonpayment and we need to make sure we can pay that fee AND make a few
bucks as well. Its a VERY tight line so there is always a little bit of
give and take in every Special finance guest we serve.   Our intention
is never to "screw" anyone and I sleep
well at night knowing that we have helped a lot of people get financing
when other dealers have simply said no and turned their heads.  We have
grown by about 1000% over the years taking people FROM the current
crumby credit situation TO a much BETTE R credit situation where they
pay real low interest and have many many more choices all WITHOUT the
fees we incur as a dealer. folks come back to us over and over again!

MadCity called to make a offer of paying $15 a week for a year on this  car purchased. Brain claimed at that point I could go to another credit union and lower my interest rate on my own and get my payments where I want them to be that we had agreed upon in the first place. I discussed this option with my wife and at this time I don't trust that MadCity is trustworthy enough to make this deal with us as a resolution. We ( my wife and I ) have had nothing but false claims from them. I contacted Brain now as well as we are still paying multiple payments on our traded car to them at $65 a week. We have made 3 more payments soon to be 4 on this old car. Brain assured us this was taken car of and Summit was mailed a check and we would be reimbursed. We are still we are still paying and have yet to hear anything. We also almost a month later have nothing on this new car. Still no bank info, the payment books and stuff you get in the mail. Nothing. I would  of been ok with this offer they made to me IF there was any kind of trust behind their word but there definitely is not and I just cant trust my financial situation for a year that they are going to do that. MaCity needs to be held accountable  and do a buy back on this vehicle.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]I will call again I have left multiple messages for a call back which is why they started getting nasty had you returned my calls I would have respectfully discussed this matter but also keep in mind since then it has taken 3 phone calls and a nasty message just to get the stickers for my plates I am not really sure what you can do for me other then tell me how you are not paying for anything so I am pretty sure nothing will be resolved as out of my pocket I have put in a new water pump and serpentine belt, had computer updates because it wasnt shifting well and it still shakes badly there is so much wrong with this car I still have the inpection sticker that says a/c works fine when in actuallity it wasnt posssible, also says brakes fine when in fact front rotors are warped and rear should be replaced so I will call then we will see

6/20/2017   Mad City Mitsubishi has made contact with Jared [redacted] (our customer) about the complaint filed by his wife, Nicole (who is not our customer and does not appear on any of the paperwork for any part of this car deal).  Jared agreed that it seems that there was a...

miscommunication between Jared and Mad City, but ALSO a miscommunication between Jared and his spouse.  Our customer was presented with a vehicle he could buy for the payment he considered affordable.  Nicole wanted Jared to purchase a vehicle with more options.  After the final payment was quoted and all of the paperwork was signed by Jared, Nicole forwarded the opinion that his payment on his vehicle was more than she was comfortable allowing him to pay for his car.  Jared has been told by Mad City that if he, in fact, wants a lower payment on the vehicle he purchased, he should contact the two credit unions of which he is currently a member and try to procure a loan at better terms based on his credit and history with said lenders.  Jared is completely satisfied with this result as is the dealership.  Both Jared and Mad City are now considering this matter between these two parties closed.

good chance of any vehicle needing service work down the road. We are

Dear Mr. [redacted], I have read your complaint and understand you're
frustrated with the vehicle you purchased from us on Jan 3rd of this
year.  After reading the complaint I understand what your position is,
my goal is to shed some light on what things look like from our end. ...


Before we offer a vehicle for retail sale we inspect the vehicle to make
sure it's safe to drive according to state regulation.  Part of that
inspection is to check the brakes and all other safety related items. We
inspected the vehicle and disclosed everything we knew about the
vehicle, unfortunately in this case the car was equipped with a manual
transmission.  Vehicles equipped with a manual transmission have a
component in them called a clutch, a clutch is made of the same
materials as brake pads and is considered a wear item by all
manufacturers.  Unfortunately clutches can go bad at any time due to the
large amount of stress they are under at all times. As someone with a mechanic background you surely understand all of this too. We disclosed the
vehicles previous usage and accident history using a source known as an
Auto Check, most all dealerships use Auto Check because many of the banks that
finance cars use Auto Check.  Car Fax is a reputable source for a
vehicles history however due to higher advertising costs for the Car Fax
service we use Auto Check to pass the savings on to our consumer while
maintaining an accurate way of disclosing a vehicles history.  This is
only one example of what makes us a dealer FOR the people. The insinuation of wrong or illegal actions has been investigated from within and we find no evidence of this. That said,  our mission is to create a happy customer when they are not.  We are in this mode right now!You had stated you were between jobs so I am assuming there may have been some struggles to make timely payments on something which would make your credit go down vs up. An auto loan is of very high value to credit reporting agencies when it comes to score and every timely payment creates a stronger risk status for you. We make every effort to set folks up to be in a better situation in regards to their credit scores and always have.  Circumstances certainly do arise that hinder this progress as it sounds like it did here.   As for the
value of the vehicle, from the sounds of things, it sounds like other
dealers are using the cars history to de-value your car. Based on the
information you've shared with me, I'm sure I can give you more than
what you've been offered. We ALWAYS have folks looking for cars like yours and would welcome it on trade.  I'd be more than happy to trade you up to a
vehicle you'd be happier with in an effort to maintain our excellent

complaint from the Revdex.com. After reviewing all the documents on file I have
come to the following conclusion.  On July 8th of 2014 you purchased a
Subaru Impreza WRX from our dealership. 
Before the vehicle was offered for sale it...

passed a safety inspection,
the inspection concluded that all safety related items are in good
working condition and the vehicle is legal to be driven on Wisconsin
roadways. We disclosed on the buyers guide the condition
of the vehicle at the time of the inspection and you agreed to take
delivery of the vehicle in that condition by signing the buyers guide at
the time of delivery.  In your complaint you reported that the purchase
price was $24,000. After reviewing the purchase
contract I have found that the sales price was actually $17995.  When
you purchased the vehicle from us the Kelly Blue Book value of the
vehicle was $19,477, so I would have to say we discounted the vehicle as
much as we could to meet your financial needs. 
A Subaru Impreza WRX is a very sought after vehicle to own by a large
population of automotive enthusiasts due to its turbo engine and
performance handling capabilities.  Owning such a vehicle typically
comes with a higher cost of ownership due to the extra
strain put on the vehicle components. The extra strain leads to a higher
component failure rate, unfortunately this leads to the owner spending
more money to maintain the vehicles condition.  With this said, we are
more than willing to work with our customers
to help them keep their vehicle in good working order.  I would be more
than willing to work with my service department to resolve your issues

If I could give them no stars I'd probably give it. Everything from the beginning to end of my buy was questionable. The way they took a 2,000 down payment and still left a car that was worth 10,000 at the time to sell at a price of 22,000. They mentioned that if you weren't happy with the vehicle, you could bring it back and they'd find something else. I did that and he says there's nothing you can do about it, you'll just have to hold out until you can get another one. NEVER AGAIN. The car they gave was a 2013 Nissan Sentra SV and it looked good, but slowly fell apart, the transmission even went out and now I have to replace that. What a freaking joke. I even went in to do a trade in as I had the vehicle for two years, on time payments and they made me do all of the running around to tell me that they couldn't with a wayyyy better credit score that I had when I went in. Run, run, run, as fast as you can. There are dealerships out there who will put you in something newer, with low miles, who's goal isn't to capitalize off of you because you feel like you have no where else to go. Do your research, be patient and appreciate the process. It will save you in the end. Mad City should be your last resort.
