I was very pleased with my personal loan from UpgradeUsing the Even site,it came out as having the best rates; so, I went with it The application process was very easy - I only had to submit .PDF's of my last two paychecks I have had other online personal loans, so "your mileage may vary" The funds were deposited into my bank account and released by the bank, in the time frame indicated in the approval email from UpgradeI would definitely recommend doing business with them
Worst loan experience I ever had! Originally applied on Dec22nd, and never got a loan officer to call until Jan10thThey blamed it on the holidaysLoan approved almost weeks ago, and the money still isn't there, even though they claim it'll be there in 1-business daysSo I call back, and they claim to escalate the issue yesterday, and that the original loan officer would update me before the end of the dayGuess what? You guessed it, no call at all yesterdaySo I call back yet again today, and the kind lady puts me on hold and comes back to tell me it was some "IT glitch"I start laughing because I work in IT at my business and have been a systems administrator for years, so I know for a fact that bank routing and account numbers between banks are not IT-relatedIt's IT's fault if no loans get routed out to customers, not if just one doesn'tBut she assures me in my laughter that the "glitch" would be fixed today, but however, my 1-business days to receive the loan clock starts ALL OVER again, meaning yet another week to waitI'm not holding my breath
Initial experience has been awesome! No hassle, just re checked my credit score in a hard inquiryThe initial pre-approval letter was from soft inquiryOnly needed a minimum credit score and verible income with at least $1,disposable income at end of monthFunds arrived in DaysInterest depends on credit scoreLow payments!
I just want to say that Upgrade is a shamBeware if you try and get a loan through themThey make you jump through hoops and the people you talk to give you inaccurate information and everyone you talk to gives you the runaroundI was trying to get a consolidation loan, and not a very big oneMy credit is sufficient and I have always paid my bills on timeI asked when I called if it was a problem that I had only been at my new job for months and they said no problem! I told them I had been at my other job for years before I took a step up to a more lucrative position and they said that didn't matterThey have all of my personal information, my bank statements, child support information, EVERYTHING! I kept calling because it's been daysEveryone I spoke to said oh I will let the loan specialist know you called and have her get back to youOh she got back to me with a "This I *** returning your call"I left her messages asking her to please update me, and I kept checking my loan status online to see they are still working on you loanFinally called back today 6/1/and spoke to some other it who said apparently since my other job before this one wasn't the same industry they are going to deny meAre you kidding me? After I asked them all of that in the beginning so I did NOT have to deal with this!! They are terrible, and everyone is RUDE! Two years in business? I give them one moreI am giving them one star because I have to put something otherwise a BIG zeroThey hadn't even sent me anything letting me know I was being deniedI had to hear it from some nobody??
I responded on line to an offer letter I received from Upgrade via USMail The process was incredibly seamless! A day later I spoke on the phone with a very professional and cordial Upgrade representative to complete my loan request Within 24-hours the funds were transferred directly into my bank account Upgrade offered a payment plan that I can afford and I am excited to be relieved of the higher interest balance on my credit card! I look forward to Upgrade managing my loan repayment without any involvement from me - and enjoying an improved financial situation one day soon! Thank you Upgrade!
