My experience has been with Katie R***, and this has been the worst experience of my life with regard to insurance claimsWe had a house fire back on June 28th Mind you no one was hurt At the time I had family in town plus my wife and kids The insurance sent Servpro, electronic cleaning company, and text tile Company to collect items out of our home that had smoke damage Which the smoke went thru the whole house My wife and I not really being aware of all the specifics of dealing with a fire claim Soon found out that while initially we thought we were being helped realized the insurance was going to do as little as possible to return our home to pre-loss condition So we hired a public adjuster, and as of now besides removal of our items from our home and supposedly the cleaning done by Servpro Zero work has been done on our home The insurance has taken every opportunity to draw this process out They've hired their own hygienist and the report provided all the necessary information We've provided all the necessary information, and for the pass month we've been waiting on a decision to get a scope of work Between mapfrea adjuster and mapfrea no one knows anything except their waiting on the other This has truly been a big disappointment

I have been a customer of what was called Commerce now known as MAPFRE for twenty plus years I had to submit a claim after an accident that was not my fault From the initial call to report the accident it has been a nightmare They "lost" my claim thus only after many calls and getting to speak to a competent rep was this made known to me From there on it continued with a shoddy appraisal, unfinished work and promises made by the rep assigned to my claim that were never followed through on I had to involve my insurance agent who was finally able to get answers They were negligent, one rep even hung up on me, that was another instance when my agent intervened on my behalf All I wanted was an honest answer and open communication I am appalled at the service, their total lack of professionalism and communication in the customer service department I was asked to submit a review to MAPFRE about my experience and the link to survey did not work, how convenient

I purchased a new car on Saturday 07/23/2016 after the hours of operation for my insurance company so I called them Monday 07/25/2016. I asked them to update my policy and fax the dealership. I was told I'd just have to look out for my new card and to contact the dealership to confirm. I called the dealership and they said they received proof of insurance so I thought everything was taken care of. As most of you know, my home was significantly damaged by water EIGHT months agoWhat I don't openly share is how my life and that of my family has been in turmoil ever since, due to the extremely poor management of our insurance claim by Mapfre Insurance (multiple adjusters, low-ball settlement amounts, several third-parties they hire but don't take accountability for, not giving us credit for items/quality we had despite receipt of proof)We are still displaced from our home, where no restoration work has even begun, since multiple contractor estimates far exceed the amount Mapfre wants to pay out for "like kind and quality" repairsMany contractors have quit returning our calls due to the level of difficulty in our claimMapfre has most recently terminated our rental (ALE) benefits beginning 4/28/17, leaving us no choice but to move out of our rental and back into our home with our children, where the entire house, less two bedrooms, is void of insulation, drywall, flooring, a working kitchen and bathrooms, and full of dust and other safety hazardsWe're remaining optimistic and know we have God on our side to intervene on our behalf to help us make it through this togetherBut, I feel the need to share my experience with my friends and family, not to seek pity or sympathy, but to issue a consumer warning to you(Prayers are always welcome, however!)

In this age of technology I find it incredulous that a Global company is incapable of fixing software for more than a year My agency is fed up and I'm fed up The invoices are incomprehensible They charge a late fee, put it back in as a premium refund, then charge another late fee EVERY SINGLE MONTH How on earth they have any customers I don't know I will NEVER recommend this company to ANY of my customers or anyone else EVER
Every agent in my agency office has called and is told the same thing: There is a ticket in on it but it hasn't been addressed They won't even call any more I hope Revdex.com can help correct this ludicrous situation
