A billing dispute concerning home coverage when the house was covered by another policy
In december of I moved from ** *** *** ** to *** *** The house was now vacant.I contacted the company and they indicated that they do not insure vacant housesMy policy was due to expire on December 12, 2015.I obtained new coverage effective 12/21/from another companyCommerce sent me back a check which was for which was a withdrawal from my account on 12/1/which was to cover the coverage after 12/12/Since I was informed that they do not cover vacant houses, I assumed they no longer had a policy on the house

I have been a customer of what was called Commerce now known as MAPFRE for twenty plus years I had to submit a claim after an accident that was not my fault From the initial call to report the accident it has been a nightmare They "lost" my claim thus only after many calls and getting to speak to a competent rep was this made known to me From there on it continued with a shoddy appraisal, unfinished work and promises made by the rep assigned to my claim that were never followed through on I had to involve my insurance agent who was finally able to get answers They were negligent, one rep even hung up on me, that was another instance when my agent intervened on my behalf All I wanted was an honest answer and open communication I am appalled at the service, their total lack of professionalism and communication in the customer service department I was asked to submit a review to MAPFRE about my experience and the link to survey did not work, how convenient

I made a payment to pay off the entire policy and then received a notice stating that the funds were unavailable and issued a NSF feeThru my agent I released my bank statements showing that the funds were available before, during and after the payment was to be madeThey refused to refund the NSF fee although I showed proof the error wasn't mineI then went ahead and paid the fee plus the regularmonthly premium so as not to accrue anymore fees while waitng for the refund issue After countless back and forth communication between myself, my agent and the company nothing has been resolvedThey have also changed their story and the reason for amounts shown on my statementsI work in accounting and keep meticulous records of payments, dates and confirmation numbers for my own billsThe same cannot be said for themBecause their statements aren't detailed they can dictate what they "feel" the amounts should represent, ignoring practical math applicationI just would like the fee

I changed my bank account for auto pay and they did not update and therefore did not charge me for two months and then adjusted my bill
I called Commerce before my October payment is due to pay it with a card and then updated automated payment optionThe rep did not watch the account to remove it from the holdIt was not until mid December they realize the issueThey sent a letter not admitting the failure but my payment had been readjustedI had moved, I was aware my premium increased but when I took a closer look I realize it was moreThen I called them and they said sorry account was on hold and there is nothing we can do

My son purchased his first home in December The storm on March 2nd caused major damage to his house He has had no walls, no floors and no ceilings in of his rooms and has had his furniture in storage for week short of months and still does not even have a quote from MapfreThey keep saying they are reviewing the adjuster's paperwork, or their adjuster hasn't submitted the paperwork yetIt is unbelievable! I had an auto insurance policy, that had auto-renewal, and automatic deductions from my checking accountThey raised my rates by 20% for no reason, and I was not notified (I received a letter a month and a half into the new policy)At that point I canceled my policy, as I did not agree with the new rates, and could find cheaper elsewhereInstead of returning my balance, they then charged me an additional $cancellation feeThey had also taken payments out of my account for more then the agreed upon rate, without my permission

I was told I would be contacted regarding I Complaint I filed and no one from commerce had made any effort to investigate my claim or contact me
Due to a collision in front of me, pieces of another vehicle damaged mineI filed a complaint but did not have the other vehicles license plate numberI gave commerce the time, location and details of the accidentThey refused to do anything to help me investigate the claim and said I would have to pay the $deductibleI asked for the supervisor to call me back, and none did
I called the supervisor subsequently with the same complaintHe said he would investigate, obtain the police report, and contact meI have not been contactedThis is terrible customer service and I would like a refund of my policy

EXTREMELY ANGRY POLICY HOLDER: I am a customer of *** *** *** *** and Mapfre Insurance all of which have passed the buck in my claim In the beginning of December I filed a claim on my leaking roof (of which has been deemed unsafe by my personal roofer) I contacted my insurance company to file a claim over weeks ago The first week an adjuster was sent out and the estimate was low balled b/c he didn't have a 17ft ladder to get on top of my roof so he proceeded to turn in an estimate based on him not completing a thorough inspection Week #my claim was completely ignored This week I was contacted by a representative from each company stating that the overlook was an honest mistake but they had settled on an amount and were going to send me a check for what they thought I should get; not to mention there is a $difference in the estimate received by my roofer (whom took pictures) and their roofer When I asked for evidence and an itemized statement of exactly where they got their estimate from, it could not be provided I am appalled at the way this was handled and will involve my lawyer However, I will NEVER recommend either of these companies!

Mapfre is charging me full price for a 6-month policy that was only active for one month
I am writing this letter regarding an auto insurance policy I acquired through Mapfre Insurance Company (MIC) I have been a devoted policy holder since I purchased my car on 10/12/Unfortunately, the current policy (#XXXXXXXXXXXXX), which is to cover 04/12/to 10/12/2017, has been an ordeal
