Jared from Mattioni came to my house for an emergency appointment on the same day I called. He then returned another day on time to complete the work. He gave me a thorough assessment of the situation and made recommendations on the repairs in a way that was clear for me to understand. On both occasions, he was professional and courteous as were the people I spoke to in the office. As far as I can tell, the work was done well. He worked in my home for several hours and I barely knew he was around. He covered his shoes, worked quietly and cleaned up after he was done. He was also friendly with my dog. I’d recommend Mattioni and plan to use them again in the future.

Thanks to Matt for coming out to fix the heating in my home today. Woke up with no heat. I called Mattioni. After waiting a bit they were able to get an appointment for later that afternoon. Matt was able to diagnosis the problem quickly. Matt paid careful attention to the whole unit. He was friendly and explained all charges and suggestions.

They were on time, efficient and courteous.

Rob from Mattioni did our plumbing inspection today and was excellent! He was on time, thorough, patient with my questions, and professional in every way. His explanantions were clear, honest, concise, and complete. We greatly appreciated his time and help!

I am rejecting this response because:
This is in response to Mattioni Plumbing, Heating &
Cooling in regards to reference number [redacted].
 
I received **. [redacted]’s letter.  It appears that **. [redacted] did not fully
understand my concerns and dissatisfaction about the services they provided me.
 
**. [redacted] stated in his letter that [redacted] (service person)
diagnosed that there was a crack in the secondary heat exchanger and that I was
better off replacing the unit rather than repairing it.  What **. [redacted] does not understand is that
the secondary heat exchanger did not have a crack and I did not have to repair
or replace it.  The secondary exchanger
was just fine.  The problem with the unit
was due to a pluggage in the line that was fixed very quickly by a service person
from a different company.  **. [redacted]
talks about the high quality of work they perform at Mattioni, but he fails to
understand that as a customer I have lost trust in their work.  I was only a few minutes away from spending
thousands of dollars on replacing a unit (based on Mattioni’s diagnosis) that
did need replacement.  I do not call this
high quality work!
 
**. [redacted] also stated in his letter that when their service
person attempted to remove the hose from the inducer motor it snapped off due
to the unit’s age.  Mattioni’s service
person ([redacted]) mentioned the same thing at the time he broke the piece that the
unit was old and was more than 20 years old. 
Again what **. [redacted] fails to recognize is that Mattioni misdiagnosed the
age of the unit and the reason the piece snapped off.  The unit is not old, it is only 4 years old
and the piece on the motor did not snap off due to age, but due to their (lack
of) workmanship and negligence.
**. [redacted] has mentioned that Mattioni is willing to fix the
motor and the assembly free of charge but they cannot have another company to
do the repair because Mattioni cannot guarantee another company’s work.  I am not asking Mattioni to guarantee another
company’s work.  I am simply asking
Mattioni to pay for the damages they had done to my property due to their
negligence.  Mattioni has been grossly
wrong on their diagnosis and repairing of my heater and I will not trust them
with any work they have to do for me.

We have been doing business with Mattioni for 6/7 years for both H&C, plumbing and Gas Fire place servicing. Each and every person who has come to service us has always been professional, courteous and respectful of our home. We have had on 3 people who have serviced the H&C systems. Today we met the third person “Fran”. While we were sad to see the last tech was no longer available, Fran stepped in and by the time he left, it was as if he was our tech all those years. We will be sure to always ask for Fran going forward…especially with a new H&C system going in!
The H&C system are original builder units and as such, we all know low cost, low bidder. It was time to bite the bullet and stop putting any more resources into the old unit.
Fran call a field supervisor to come out and assess the situation and give us an estimate. He waited until Jerry, the supervisor arrived within 15 minutes! They reviewed the situation and I got my estimate. When I asked when they could do the replacement, the answer shocked me – tomorrow (if he could get the unit later or worse case Tuesday (Monday being Memorial day holiday).
That is service. Thanks to the Mattioni family!

Mattioni is a great business. Fran was very thorough and explained everything he was going to do before doing it. He then ran all the options for me. I recommend them to anyone.

Had some work done on the house by Paul M., technician at Mattioni Plumbing today and I am very satisfied as usual. Paul is the nicest guy and besides doing clean and efficient work he truly has the method and the knowledge for finding problems and solutions that extend beyond your house's plumbing. Best about that is that he will always take the time to explain the why ( there is a problem ) and how ( it can be fixed ). Through the years we have been using Mattioni ( about a decade, now ), he gave me numerous tips for house maintenance and helped us save money where I could.
Paul now works with Brian, another nice guy always smiling and polite, as well as discreet and clean. If you are looking for a reliable and super nice team to take care of your house's plumbing, I cannot recommend Paul and Brian enough.

As usual, Mattioni Plumbing folks confirmed my appointment and Paul show up on time and did his usual great job serving our water treatment system. His friendly manner and willingness to explain exactly what he is doing is a real plus.

Happy with the service provided- They took care of a broken part and install and waived charges on something that was not covered under the warranty on the heater I had installed 10 months ago. Came back the next day to check repair when it seemed like there was still a problem. Highly recommend, especially for a heating / cooling system or issue.

Our plumber, Norm C., did a great job on a sink sewer pipe that broke (crumbed actually) just outside the wall under the vanity. So much for a "Honey-Do DIY" job turned bad, but Norm was great, knew just what to do to save the day. We ended up having him replace the hot and cold shut off valves and then when we looked at the toilet intake valve, we decided to have him change that and install a new toilet (ours was circa 1967!). We got a club membership that was more then paid for by the discount it provided. He cleaned up the work area completely, (and some that wasn't his mess), and put on butties to walk on the carpet when we gave him a place at the dining room table to show us toilet options on his tablet and to tally up. During the household inspection that came with the membership, he noticed a few things we might want to have fixed, like a better grounding of our natural gas line to get it up to code (and maybe save our lives down the road).

We have been customers of Mattioni Plumbing for years. Always excellent service. Norm C. was prompt, courteous, professional, and helped us resolve an unsatisfactory situation with a defective kitchen faucet. After review of the situation, Norm established three different options for a plan of action which he took the time to explain in detail. He also saved us money by reducing the installed price of the chosen faucet as well as renewing our expired homeowners club plan. Overall, an excellent experience. Norm C. did a fantastic job!

Excellent experience starting from the dispatcher to the service technicians that did the work. Called on a Sunday to report a leaking main water valve. The dispatcher gave an approximate time for the technician to arrive and then followed up with a call when they were en route. Technicians provided estimates and options before starting the work. They were very careful about wearing disposable booties throughout the house. The work area was left clean once the repair was completed.

Great service, as always.

Great company with incredible personnel! Jared, Derrick & John M. were very knowledgeable and explained everything so that I understood what was needed. Work was done in timely fashion and areas where worked were cleaner than when they started. Thank so much!
