Meathead Movers

We recently used MeatHead Movers and will never use them again. An item that was moved into our home was damp and smelled of throw up. We called and emailed Meathead Movers asking for the owner to please get back to use, it took them two weeks to respond and the owner had a newer employee call us to say if it was them there would of been splatter marks. How the stain got there is beyond me but when we removed the sheets there were zero stains, and the fact that it was a fresh damp stain that smelled of vomit leads us to believe it was something from the truck or a crew member. If they had better customer service we would of considered using them again, but given the poor customer service we will never use them again.

During an extremely difficult time just after the passing of my sister, I needed professional movers to transport several large and some very heavy items from Orange County, CA to San Diego County, CAI chose Meathead Movers from the internetI needed to save money, but I needed professional movers who could safely support my sister's expensive furniture that was still in great or pristine condition Meathead movers exceeded all of my expectationsThe crew from Irvine was headed by Brandon Miller and included Levi Darren, Andrew Juarez, and Ivan Lopez; all clean-cut, polite, and strong young student athletes In addition, the move included two locations: my new storage unit in El Cajon and then up the mountain to my house in CrestThey navigated the driveway, the front entrance, and the landscape (dirt driveway leading to the back of the house) with no stress at all! I was amazedThey removed my bed and mattress and replaced it with the new bed from my sister, as well as two oversized pieces of furniture going into a small cottage What I needed was for this furniture to be moved without any damage and for it to be done in a way that was the least stressful for meThey delivered! Brandon worked with me initially upon arrival to scope out the job and listen to my needsWorking as a team with their qualified team leader, Brandon, they wasted no time as they wrapped and moved, and occasionally asked me a questionI give them an A+They were all congenial and respectful, and this made it actually enjoyable I recommend them highly to anyone with a simple cross-town move or one that is farther away and/or more complicated as mine was Ariele B

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: I never went to this office,I never threatened anyone's! I have tried many times to connect with the General Manager,A***She has scheduled times for a telephone conversation,only to wait all day, no callI feel she is exaggerating our claim for "huge " amounts of money,which is also Not trueWe have asked for a fair refund for a job they did not complete and for damage and broken valuables that were discovered after I filled this complaintAfter speaking with several people in the community, l find our issue with this company are common, I would certainly never threaten anyone, I consider myself to be professional and honest in any situation and have tried to resolve this issue in a professional mannerAt this time I feel that this is going nowhere unless I go to Small Claims court, and have no energy to continue dealing with the,,which is what they were planning onI am a strong believer in Karma, I will leave it thereI don't know how they can continue running a business in this manner, and feel good about themselvesI have better things to do than play this gamei appreciate the service provided by the Revdex.com and the assistance provided to meI'm not so sure that they deserve the stamp of approval by the Revdex.com, perhaps a review of the business practices is due Regards, D [redacted]

Well worth every penny Adam and Daniel moved everything in a VERY short amount of time They don't waste a second They are very strong and athletic and would run back to the truck after bringing in furniture It's worth it just to watch the show!

We were very pleased with the entire process from the 1st phone call, the estimate meeting, the move itself, & the follphone calls We had some heavy furniture, which had to go upstairs & they did a great job They were professional, kind, quick, & friendly We would recommend them to anyone

Meathead Movers Princess Packers just packed my kitchen things to put them in storage while we renovate the kitchen Pachy and jacob (Prince-in-Training) were my packers They did a great job! I especially liked the way the labelled my boxes they actually listed things that were in the box (e.gcoffee maker, toaster, kitchen towels, wine glasses, plates, serving platter) so that when I unpack I will have anode which boxes I want to unpack first They didn't label a single box "Misc" - which is the frustrating thing that most packers form other companies have done in previous moves I would definitely use them again!

I had the most amazing easy move with Meathead Movers Eric & Jonathan Gwere wonderful I moved form a down stairs to up stairs on a hot day I can't say enough about their attention to making sure my stuff was not scratched Thank you again guys!!!!!!

I think the estimators "Low Ball" a bid and then the NTE (Not to exceed) amount is always charged I think the Revdex.com should do an audit (a surprise one) and pull about a dozen files and I would be willing to bet money or were charged the maximum They called and said they wanted to make it right and offered to make it up on another job by offering a two hour minimum versus their three hour minimum BIG DEAL That really cost them I would reccomend any potential customer to beware when receiving a quote and get other bids from additional companies

We recently moved to Arroyo Grande, CA and hired Meathead Movers to unload the moving truck for usWe heard about them from a different moving company in BakersfieldWe were very pleased with the service Meathead Movers provided, from the scheduling staff to the movers! Our appointment was confirmed well in advance, and each person we talked to was friendly and very helpfulThe guys that helped us had their work cut out for them, as we moved into an upstairs unitWe were impressed with how they jogged back to the moving truck each time they needed to get more items, instead of walkingWe highly recommend this company!

The experience my family had with this company was extremely positiveThe two gentlemen who showed up to help us unload a 26foot Penske truck completely packed were fantastic! Kevin Parra and Bryan Ortega showed up on time, were professional, careful, and extremely hard workersThey would carry in our items and then RUN back out to the truck to grab more furniture and what not They finished within the estimated time frame, but more importantly to me, nothing was damaged, scratched or broken as a result of their effortsThe last item off the truck was a to pound Sntoolbox that would have made anyone flinch- not these guysGetting one of these boxes off a truck even with a lift-gate is no joke, and my livelihood here in So-Cal depended on them doing it right Highly recommend this company and the two movers we were lucky enough to getThanks, Steve

We have tried exceedingly hard to resolve the issues that the client felt they had on move day, including offering free services, amongst other thingsWe realized that a satisfactory resolution would be impossible in this situation when the client came in to our lobby and threatened physical violence against multiple employees if we did not pay them the large amount of cash they were demanding as a resolution

I cannot praise Meathead Movers enoughI once had a terrible moving experience with another company, and these guys promised to change my opinion of movers and definitely delivered! An estimator named Hunter came out to meet me and survey the things to be movedHe was very professional, personable, reassuring, and did an excellent job explaining what would happen and all the costs involved On move day, I had courteous and friendly guys (Pedro, Brandon, and Christian) show up, who did a phenomenal job of wrapping, protecting, and carefully handling my thingsI had glass tables and antiques that I had no worries about whatsoeverThey were extremely fair price wise and gave me every discount and break they could includeNo surprise costs, no broken or mangled things, no promisesIf I move again, I am only calling these guys!!
